I barely know anything about Kochikame, yet I still feel sad…
Makes me wonder what'll happen when One Piece ends.

Any one know what Oda was talking about in WSJ authors comments?!
I thought it was about the Godzilla film.
I thought it was about the Godzilla film.
as i thought thanks mate, also some peoples says it is about Kochikame ending
as i thought thanks mate, also some peoples says it is about Kochikame is ending
Actually, it was most likely about Kochikame.
Yeah after the Kochikame ending announcement it sounds a lot more likely for it to be about that.
but i first thought it was about the Godzilla film.

Why would it be about Godzilla? Did something surprising happen with it?
O.o
I do feel kind of sad, like when lonesome George died of old age. Jump is going to change.

I like this ranking just because One Piece not in the list
Yeah compared to most shonen, where there are other characters much more interesting than the main, luffy is actually very liked by fans.^^

Yep. It's what I also liked. A main character (a good one) has to be able to carry the show on his own when needed.
I like this ranking just because One Piece not in the list
I would be bothered if it was. Luffy has always been #1 on the character popularity polls.

Jk, I know its probably just a coincidence and it was time for his monthly break.^^

Yes i forgot to count the third day, but the point still the same, both mangas are basically selling the same average number of copies in the same number of days.

About 2 weeks for YnN, 3 to Love Rush and 4 to Red Sprite.
Love Rush is really nice, liking the development and the MC is pretty ballsy.

more imaginative and fun than MHA. He just wasn't as refined as a mangaka back then.

Is there anyway for us to know if a new series like Yakusoku no Neverland has started to being ranked?
So far, the only way is the empiric rule of the 8th chapter.
I'm a bit sad Yaiba rank has decline in the recent weeks. It is a serie with an interesting identity.
Very likely KNY has survived this round, now its all up to volume 3 sales and if there is a improvement.

How is black clover so high in the toc? Is it really any good?
How is black clover so high in the toc? Is it really any good?
Well, personally, I feel like there's nothing really wrong with it, but at the same time, nothing mind-blowing. It fills that void that Naruto might have left, and has cool plot points, characters, and art. I don't know, it's good, and I cant totally see a young audience getting into it, but so far its nothing special. I did personally really love Hungry Joker (the author's previous series) and was sad when it got cancelled, but Black Clover is a lot more generic in comparison. Like I've never read a chapter and been "Holy crap what a twist", but usually "Oh cool, that was neat, wonder what will happen next" and then just move on to the next thing
A naruto inspired generic shonen? No thanks. xD
The question should be how is Yuragi-sou no Yuna-san so high in the TOC?!xD Even though I enjoy it (though as a guilty pleasure), I still don't understand xD
A naruto inspired generic shonen? No thanks. xD
I'd say give it a shot. It's got better humor than Naruto. Captain Yami is great. It has a bit of rivalry going on but not lamely done like Naruto.
It is confirmed that Nishi Yoshiyuki (author of Muhyo to Roji no Mahou-ritsu Soudan Jimusho) going to start new series in Young Jump.
Does anyone know where i would be able to buy Shonen Jump 42 (Kochikame ending) online? I used to know a website where you could order serials like Shonen Jump, Hana to Yume, and Famitsu but I no longer remember it.
Edit: I found a site that looks very promising, Otakumode. Obviously, I wouldn't be able to buy it for a couple of weeks but I know I would have to get it pretty fast
Gintama announcement? Unconfortably (bleach level) quick ending? the 3rd or 4th anime renewal? something else?
It is announced that Kochikame tribute collaboration series, called Minna no Kochikame, going to start on Issue 44 of Shounen Jump.
Issue 44: Horikoshi Kouhei (author of Boku no Hero Academia), Asou Shuuichi (author of Saiki Kusuo no Sainan), Numa Shun (author of Samon-kun wa Summoner), Shimabukuro Mitsutoshi (author of Toriko), Tsukuda Yuuto (story author of Shokugeki no Souma)
Issue 46: Tamura Ryuuhei (author of Beelzebub)
Issue 48: Nakama Ryou (author of Isobe Isobee Monogatari)
Issue 49: Komi Naoshi (author of Nisekoi)
Issue 50: Shinohara Kenta (author of Sket Dance)
Issue 51: Shiibashi Hiroshi (author of Nurarihyon no Mago)
Issue 52: Matsui Yuusei (author of Ansatsu Kyoushitsu)
==================================================
Also, Akimoto Osamu (author of Kochikame) going to release four works (not sure whether it'll be series or one shot) on upcoming winter.
Grand Jump: Black Tiger
Ultra Jump: Ii Yu Dane!
Weekly Young Jump: Kyouto Jogakuin Monogatari

Yeah from what i have been hearing, JUMP GIGA ends at Issue 4.
I imagine it will go back to being called NEXT or something like that.
