I've been here for years, and I still don't know how people gain their "stars" besides becoming mods, admins, or providing nice content like sandman, Greg, etc.
I'm guessing probably my lack of attention to it, I only notice it when a new guy gets one, and I wonder how he got it, and then proceed to forget about it again , but yeah give Kishido a star.
Thank Odin Sanji won.

Giving content and participating (regular talks, ect) are a big part of it. From what I understand You can't be a mod before you get a star. Though once you get one, if you do a lot of mod work you could endup with more stars. I think that's one of several reasons for Purple Hermit's fast rising star(s)= got one around same time I did, PH helped out and ended up getting more. (IF I'm correct there) That's what I remember.

Well I guess Kishido deserves one then, the guy is one of the most active members in the manga section for years.

Just to point something out. It was just fun.
I do not deserve any star. It is not about quantity but about quality. And like my English at least 1/4 of my posts are shit.
If it would be about quantity I for sure should have a star seeing that I'm one of the very rare people with more than 15,000 posts.
So again. Everything is fine as it is and the people who are actually are doing more for this community are deserving it much more than someone who "just" posts

What I like about these tournaments is that they are a chance for members that usually post in a specific part of the forums to get to know other members. Like members that only post in the manga section are unaware about members that only post in the video game section and vice-versa, but with this tournament, they can get to know each other, thus dissolving the cliques.
About elegibility for stars, IMO, if a member regularly post and also, improve this social media with good content (news, activities, posts that brings something new to the table, not the 10th thread about "Who would win in a fight between Luffy and Zoro ?" or "The mistery of OP, solved !!), then I can agree that such member is eligible for a star.
Well im in "whats new " section
