@The:
At What? At the one where he kicks Lucci? Or the one where he keeps up with soru-Blueno? That's all you've posted, and they don't convince me.
The pics I posted have a very good chance of being Soru, it just isn't definate. The reason I think it's soru is because of the tapping, Luffy fits the requirments to use soru and He knows how it is done.
When on earth was that stated? Are you thinking about Wanzes comment, perhaps? Sanji is fast, but he doesn't use soru speed. And by the way…Luffy didn't "dissapear in plain" sight before Lucci. He just delivered attacks so fast that his opponent barely had time to react. Like all the pics i posted.
**It wasn't outright stated, but you would know it's true from Kalifa's comment about anji.
How do you know if he didn't dissapear in plain sight? Even Blueno had time to react to Luffy's attacks, and you're saying Lucchi didn't.**
Yeah. Like I said, he effortlessly blocked a Bazooka. Never mind how he did it, how can you say this doesn't outclass Luffy? But Oh well, I guess double-rankyaku'ing Luffy, and pummeling him with the shigan ouren counts for nothing. And we all know Lucci bled so much more than Luffy in that fight.
**Lucchi did bleed more than Luffy. simply because Luffy is rubber.
So Lucch is automaticcly stronger than Luffy because he blocked a bazooka? Thats like saying croc is stronger than Luffy because he wasn't phased by his attack on the roof. Luffy hit Lucchi quite a few times before Franky came. Does that mean Luffy outclassed him? They were about even. I'm not saying exactly, but for the most part neither could hurt each other enoughf.**
So. Tekkai using super-martial artist Rob Luccis fist hurts after 2 minutes of battle? And if it does, he just gives it up just like that? Likely.
And you know, having your face full of liqued is not always sweat from fatigue. It could be… that Luffys' drooling.
Who ever said it had be pain? It could just be because he wanted to for that moment. Saying Lucch is stronger because he was using one hand is like saying Luffy is stronger than sanji because he only uses his legs.
If anything, shouldn't Robins peril make Luffy more determined and serious? Robin was the goal. Lucci was the obstacle. It makes sense for Luffy to put all his might into removing that obstacle. Like I said, It's for story purposes only that Lucci and Luffy didn't power up. Things went the way they did so that the buster call could happen, among other things.
No, not at all. Luffy wanted to get to Robin as fast as possible because once she passes a certain point she is GONE. How would that make him more determined to fight Lucchi?
Are we talking about the same Kenpachi? The one that ran directly into Zangetsu, and was cut and cut and cut while screaming in joy? Like you say, he doesn't care what happens in the middle. Ken cares about the fight. He accepted his loss.
I never said Ken cares much of if he's hit. but he does care. He cares enoughf to try and dodge vital blows and such. He feels pain, but even that doesn't matter to him. Since he always likes to fight, even if he is losing it'll never look like he is at his max.
Whereas Lucci, as you say, fight to kill. To win. To satisfy his sadistic urges though humiliation of the opponent, by beating them with as little effort and showing them weakness of their attakcs. Thats' called holding back/not fighting seriously/ at full power.
Lucchi likes a challenge. He liks the thrill of the fight, just not as much as actually kiling. Lucchi is also the type that'll never look like he at his max.
When Luffy opened a Gear 2 of whoopass on Lucci, it was then he went all-out. He didn't toy with Luffy anymore, and didn't look like he enjoyed himself; because he couldn't toy with Luffy anymore, because he wasn't stronger.
I wouldn't say he didn't like fighting after Luffy went gear 2, I'd say he was just ajitated. Because for a while he thought there might be a chance he could lose. Lucchi basiccly sees himself as the strongest in the world.
So…are you saying that Luffy, who'd just besieged Enies Luffy and crossed oceans and whatnot to get Robin back suddenly "wasn't trying?"Mere meters before her? Gee, that's very considarate of him...Or that Blueno wasn't trying very hard to kill Luffy? Neither makes sense.
And of course he wanted to try gear out. Because he needed to get to Robin as quickly as possible, and realized that fighting Blueno in his normal state would be taking a loooong time...because Blueno held his ground so well.
I makes sense when you consider that Luffy knows Lucch is the strongest and he needs to test his strengh out on someone who fights like him. He couldn't simply go where Robin was like when he was fighting with Lucchi. So why not test out his trump?
