Kinda looks like that giant skull has horns, maybe related to Oars somehow?

RE: Chapter 599, "9 Pirates" Discussion
There is still no concrete proof that Zoro has lost an eye. Just assumptions from the fisherman because of the scar and the fact that he keeps it closed. For all we know Zoro is training himself to be able to fight with one eye closed or some shit like that.

RE: Oda in revolutionary manga creators according to some Japanese poll
Granted I haven't read all manga in the world but I cant think of any other that has such an internally consistent universe. Where everything was so meticulously planned (years in advance!) that an unremarkable character we may only see for a panel or so could turn out to be of supreme importance later on. Like Laboon for example, or Silvers Rayleigh. Even Ace's vivre card. NO other manga I've ever read gives you such a sense of epic scope.

RE: Is Haki a Technique? Should it be Translated?
I stopped your lightsaber with my Ambition infused sword Kizaru!
My punch had so much Ambition it hit you Smoker!
My flaming Ambition filled foot got you Ao Kiji!
Is that as stupid as it sounds? Yeah it is.
I am holding out for something better.

RE: Is Haki a Technique? Should it be Translated?
Wow, seriously? We lost the WHOLE storyline because of one untranslated term? Get real. As if the next statement about only one in a million having this particular haki is not enough to convey how rare and special it is.
And wolfpak makes a very good point. Translating it as "Ambition" is misleading as it implies that only those who are striving to get ahead have this ability. Railegh, at this point, would just like to have an easy and carefree retirement. Not a very ambitious desire.
I don’t really care one way or another if the term is translated but "Ambition" just doesn’t work for me, it’s just too… limited for describing the ability for my taste.
The translation that appeals to me the most so far is "Dominant Will" because that’s what it seems like the people we have seen using Haki are doing. Imposing their current desires/will on their surroundings. Consciously or unconsciously. And if those surrounding fail their will save so to speak, then bad things happen.
Perhaps that is how imbuing Haki into objects works, for that moment in time the user wills the object to behave in a way it shouldn’t, like the collar passing through Caimies neck or the arrows exploding on contact.

RE: Shichibukai strength
I don't see how Crocodiles "death touch" can be anything but a carefully trained skill. It is is NOT an immediately obvious application of that devil fruit but something that had to be carefully thought out. No 4 year old would have the knowledge that the fruit could be applied this way. Croc was thinking way outside the box on that one.
Consider Enel for example, the most advanced use of his fruit I remember was him forming gold weapons and restarting his own heart which was probably instinctive. I mean there is so many other ways to make controlling electricity a more deadly power.
- Enel could have a much more potent "death touch" then Croc ever could, all he would need to do is disrupt the electrical signals in someones brain and boom, instant death or paralysis depending on what he wants. And it could possibly work from a distance too.
- Release the hydrogen and oxygen in all the nearby water through electrolysis = fuel air bomb

RE: Chapter 460 "Get Back Before Dawn!!"
You know, it seems at first glance that Oz's overly huge mouth + "Kabuto salt star" = instant win. But of course it wont be that easy
