Can't have that when one part becomes token love interest to be saved and cheer on the protagonist or something like that.
! She pretty much kick ass as much as Rokudo. Hell, she is the first of the two to get a power-up.

Nice. Now the question is how good the characterization itself is, but I want to find out for myself.
Not sure if I'll stick around on Stray Dogs. Characters ain't doing it for me. They now introduced a sister character who wants to screw her brother. The suicide jokes are really overplayed. Little bit of dark humor is fine here and there, but it's a little too much for me. The other jokes are just as overplayed, too. Maybe giving this another ep or two? It still looks pretty good.
I'm still hooked with Bungou Stray Dogs. I love the comedy and the voice acting.
Though I'd like to see real villains now!
The first 2 episodes of Sousei no Onmyouji were pretty good. The art style was kind of jarring to me at first compared to manga but it isn't bad. I am a bit worried that Pierrot will veer off into some anime original arc, especially since they already randomly added some cutsey mascot character.
While I still have a bunch more shows and episodes to get through I will definitely be watching Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, Hero Academia, Bungo Stray Bogs, and Joker Game.

The director mentioned it in an interview that he's going to do his own thing in the anime (like rearranging scenes or cutting too much infodumps) so I doubt it'll be a panel by panel adaptation. Regarding the mascot, it was actually designed by the author himself and is found in volume 6 of the manga. Although I'm not sure if it was the author or the director's decision to add him in the anime.
Was Shingeki no Bahamut cancelled ?
Uh, Kabaneri's second episode is leaked and fansubbed. After some considering, I took a look at it.
It's great shit. Looks great, characters are likeable (was terrified for Ikoma several times), it's an AoT clone at it's best. I ain't complaining if the whole series is gonna be this level of quality. Also, the fully animated opening is gorgeous. It's the kind of song which works best together with the opening. ED's really pretty, too.
Lost Village episode 3:
! Killing the black guy first. Really ?
Lost Village is really boring and bad. I was hoping to stick around at least till the bloodbath starts, but it was absolutely mind-numbing to get through that episode. The character writing is a mess - some of these characters sound potentially interesting, but the execution is a mess. I think I'm done with it.
Speaking of which, Kiznaiver and Lost Village are apparently written by the same writer and episode 2 definitely showed that. The characterization sucks just as much - the series just isn't endearing me to these characters and the episode was just as much of a chore to sit through. So done with Kiznaiver, too. Though, I gotta say, at least it looks really nice, better than Lost Village at least, which looked fine, too, but neither story is really doing it for me.
Tonkatsu DJ is the work of geniuses
Kiznaiver has been disappointing so far. But I am sure it will start being great soon…I think...I hope.
Mayoiga is turning into a bad comedy real fast. At this point I'm only watching to see what kind of mental crap they'll come up with next. And even that might just continue for one more episode at best.
That P.A. Works mecha anime isn't cutting it either. Just stick with your cheap yet surprisingly beautiful drama, fellas. No need for timetraveling robots.
Haifuri on the other hand should be able to keep every Girls und Panzer fan at the edge of their seat. Let's just say that in this case judging the (book)series by its cover might just rob you of an entertaining viewing experience.
Still need to get started on JoJo s4 but first I gotta bingewatch Durarara. Oh yeah, there's Joker Game too. It's alright so far; has it positives but ultimately a tad boring. And I must not forget that AoT ripoff. Still waiting for the next episode on that one though.
I can't find where to watch the AoT rip off. Did it get an English renaming? It wasn't on Crunchyroll or Hulu.

It's called either Koutetsujou no Kabaneri or Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.
Personally I download everything on Horriblesubs. Though you will have to wait for episode 2 in good quality because of the earthquake.
Episode 2 is already on Anilinkz but I wouldn't recommend it.
Man, nearly every new anime this season has a teenage (or even younger) main protagonist and/or a school setting. These tropes can get really tiring after a while. Nevertheless, I found some series I enjoyed and will follow through:
3rd seasons of Ushio to Tora and Sailor Moon:Crystal
Boku no Hero Academia
JoJo
Kabaneri Iron Fortress
Joker Game
Bakuon!! - because Top Gear isn't airing right now
Re:Zero - after 3 episodes, which felt like a tutorial, let's see where it goes
I dropped KumaMiko for no particular reason and I guess I play the Ace Attorney games before watching the anime. If I get the time I also will follow Twin Star Exorcist. First episode was not bad.
And I still have some animes on the watch list like High School Fleet (hopes for something like Girls and Panzer) and the second season of Concrete Revolutio (still need to finish the first one).
I can't find where to watch the AoT rip off. Did it get an English renaming? It wasn't on Crunchyroll or Hulu.
Amazon Prime has an exclusive deal.
Twinstar Exorcists - Uh, the girl Rokuro ran into the first ep is actually his cousin? It seemed like she had a crush on him or something. This is going to some wierd places I don't really like :S
The boob jokes are still really stupid. I ignored them because it is shounen and stuff, but it's still pretty annoying. I like Rokuro and Benio despite their tropeness, but dunno if the series will be worth it just for these two.

No he said she's like a cousin. They're not blood related.
I don't watch that show but they're never blood-related as soon as love comes into play.
So it's like a Eren/Mikasa situation. Not related and don't view as an actual family, just a family-like bond.
If the fanservice gets worse, I'll probably drop it.

@Pierrot.:
No he said she's like a cousin. They're not blood related.
! That is just because her father happens to have trained him. Speaking of which did he appeared yet? It's hilarious.

! No Seigen hasn't appeared yet. I believe he'll be introduced after Rokuro's fight with Kamui.
Stray Dogs…
! I was sorta hoping the sister would get killed off to put an end to that "gag". That's such a icky trope.
! The villain was kinda cool though.
Really do not like that, either. Few minutes into the episode and it's already cringe. I think I'll be dropping this. I just don't care about the characters in any shape or form.
Is Bungo Dog thing the one that has Dan Brown as an anime character with superpowers?
I like when an anime surprises me and I definitely didn't expect all this blood from Bungou Stray Dogs.
I'll be darned! The AoT spinoff actually managed to entertain me quite a bit. Be it the strong female character, the MC going to such lengths, or the AoT feeling after all, I wouldn't be able to put my finger on it… but something is managing to keep me glued to my monitor.
I think it's Tetsuro Araki's direction. It's always really captivating and even if people don't like it, it's always memorable, be it in the unintentional comedy way or legitimately.
I think it is actually my favorite of the season so far. It looks pretty, sounds pretty and has likeable characters. Now, please stay good! The effort put in the art itself deserves it. It's a great hold-over for season 2 of AoT so far.
Bungou Stray Dogs
wheeee
! Akutagawa's finally appeared. I wanted to see how he was portrayed so much and this exceeds my expectations.
I liked how serious and dark it became with his appearance and generally, I was waiting for darker tones too.
I liked how Atsushi turned into a tiger and put up a fight but I liked the fact that he used a bit of his brain when going after Akutagawa more.
Overall I am satisfied with this series and I am looking forward to the next episode :3

Actually Re:Zero by all means should have the most gore in this season, but it's heavily censored.
The story gets more and more hellish and terrifying as the arcs progress though.
Really ? I'm intrigued. The first episode didn't give me the feeling that it could go this way.
I will try to look at Re:Zero a second time then.
Kabenari has more potential than SNK .
The Trio is better than SNKs one.
Ikoma is braver and smarter than Eren, Mumei has more personality than Mikasa, Takumi and Armin are even(for now).
Season's been going on for a while so I'll rank my favorites
So great, why can't next week come sooner
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable - Seeing how it's my favorite part, that's a given. David Productions is doing a better job with it than I could've ever hoped
My Hero Academia - It's cute and fun, the protagonist is very likable and looking forward to see the rest of the cast formally introduced
Joker Game - One I was most interested in going blind, and it's living up to my expectations, last episode in particular was a good watch
Space Patrol Luluco - Actually gets Trigger's spirit way more than their full length show. Shorts have been getting pretty damn good this year.
Hey that one is pretty good too
Sailor Moon Crystal - skipped the second season but now that it has a new director, the show is much more lively, Sailor Uranus and Neptune too!
Flying Witch - It's nice and relaxing, don't have much to say on it but still worth checking out
Ushio and Tora - still the same fun stuff, I think it's a slight downgrade from the first 2 cours but Mappa's animation is still a treat
Haven't you heard, I'm Sakamoto - It had me laughing quite a bit, I'm hoping the gags won't get old but so far so good
Bungou Stray Dogs - Okay so far, but like MHA, Bones still got it when it comes to making a show look good
It's alright I suppose
Concrete Revolutio - Like the first season, I like it just fine but not enough to actively recommand it. Seems it got more potential this time around though!
Kumamiko - Gets questionable at times, but overall kind of funny.
Bakuon - I admit I forced myself to finish the first one, but I was probably just tired. Episode 2 and 3 were better so I guess it's good dumb fun for now
Ehhhhhhhh
Kiznaiver + The Lost Village - I'm putting those two together because it's the same writer and my feelings about both are pretty similar. Both are shows that are well animated, but I'm really sceptical about where Mari Okada is going with them. With the former, I'll rationalize that she's trying to channel bad horror movies with the latter….I want to be optimistic and hope it will pick up but so many writing choices make me groan.
Ace Attorney - Way too safe as an adaptation, I'd get a more entertaining experience by watch a LP of the game. The occasionally awkward off model faces don't help. But still, it's an Ace Attorney anime so I may as well stick with it.
Dropped
Twin Star Exorcist - Not particularily bad, but doesn't have anything interesting or special to get my attention.
Hatewatch gold
Big Order- Somehow had the exact same first episode as Mirai Nikki; same kind of pacing and same kind of characters. It's a misanthropic edgefest in which all characters have an overpowered stand with 0 restrictions. It even has a little sister that's not actually related. It's just…garbage that's too easy to make fun of to just skip it.
Nyahahaha!
Luluco and its stratospheric cliffhanger.
It's a little hard to not compare AoT and Kabaneri, huh. It's everywhere the series is talked about. It's not the same premise itself, it's that it seems to take inspiration directly from AoT.
The great thing is that I love both series so far. I care about AoT a bunch more, in terms of characters and I find the world and Titans much more interesting, but Kabaneri has really strong characterization so far and to me that's what truly matters. Both do some unique things with their characters.
Again, please stay good!
Other stuff:
I ended up dropping Kuma Miko on reflection. There are funny jokes, but most are awkward and there's a little bit too much otaku-bait sexualization of Machi (I was hoping the joke about mythology would be the extent of it, but that's not the case). It's a little too creepy.
Flying Witch is a lot of fun. It's the subtle kind of humor and how the magic is handled that makes it so charming.
Macross Delta is pretty fun. I enjoy the catchy songs.
Haven't you heard? I'm Sakamoto is still pretty funny. I think my favorite bits were Sakamoto's name mystery and the fast food techniques.
Why was there no kabaneri this week?
There actually wasn't any Kabaneri the week before last week, it was postponed because of an earthquake, the episode just leaked. It was officially aired last week.
There we go with Twinstar Exorcist. I liked this episode more than last week - no unnecessary fanservice and just standard shounen stuff, which I don't mind. There seems to be a interesting kind of confidence to the series, even with the slower episodes. I don't feel bored watching despite it being so standard, kinda like what Seraph Of The End ended up being by the end of the second cour. The dialog might be as standard, but it's not as badly written.
Even though it was hilarious the ending of Bungou Stray Dogs was way too anticlimactic.

Seriously. This series is way more silly than I would have thought. I'm getting mood whiplash lol.
It just jumps between total silliness and total serious dark themes like it's nothing. I am enjoying it though XD

I can tell. Lol.
Mayoiga is a mess and I couldn't call it objectively good in any way, but…I think I love it.

LoL exactly what I think.
What the hell is a Tokimune though ?
Apparently Bakuon! is oddly adorable? There's apparently also a scene with Jesus and a motorcycle.
Joker Game continues to be awesome. My favorite anime of the season.
As for Twin Star Exorcists, I feared for a rushed one-cour season like many other adaptations of monthly mangas.
After 2 episodes that skipped a few scenes, I thought that was what going to happen. It was a pity but at least it was still faithful to the manga.
But now, after 3 filler episodes and a preview telling me a 4th one is coming, I just have no idea what they're trying to do with this adaptation but it's worse than what I feared since we're losing the quick pace the story is moving in the manga which is one of its main strengths. Plus, it's ruining Rokuro's character.
Plus, it's ruining Rokuro's character.
Is there anything good about Rokuro-kun in the first place?:ninja:
Re:Zero. After 5 episodes I can't get my head around about this series and the main char.
! First of all he keeps his timejumps secret to ANYBODY. That is a major feat for someone who appears as dense as him. Add to this his loose and big blabbery mouth, and it somehow looks like an act. At the beginning he was introduced as a genre savvy shut in and yet he needs to die gruesomely three times to get the timeloop. Even now he constantly shouts meta comments but how about keeping a third person within earshot on the crucial night at the mansion?
And the most mind-boggling thing; he shows NO interest in this new world other than dating girls. How about asking the loli magician about other dimensions (she freaking lives in such a place). Or ask about other travellers with odd clothes on. Or the politics of this world (which could shed more light on the assassin lady or the current assassin).
He lived in this mansion several days, two times, and noticed nothing dangerous from it's inhabitants whatsoever. And the show decides that I have to see his unimportant shenanigans over and over again instead of showing thoughts about his previous life or MAYBE improving his combat skills or even discovering magic skills or sneaking into the mansion's closet discovering skeletons.
Nothing! We just see him walking around, dense as fuck, doing jackshit and then he dies in a horrible manner like a masochist.
All in all the show and the MC put next to no effort into solving the biggest mysteries until now, so why should I care?
