I agree. Last thing I want to see is Roger travelling through time and doing chores before he goes and gives himself up, or some crap like that. But it doesn't mean TT won't appear in some form at some point.
That this is even being suggested based off dialogue of a mistaken kid who probably is thinking of Ace is just lol.

I'm not contesting the possibility it's something else, like Ace, for example. We actually know he visited Wano. Still, Ace didn't want to have much to do with Roger or his name, and he didn't even look that much like Roger. Not sure why a small child would think he was Roger. He is somehow aware of Ace's connection to Roger causing him to become confused, but he isn't aware Roger died 12 years before he was born, even though him and his father were friends. Yeah, I'm sold.
I'm also allowing the possibility that the translation is faulty.
