Ah yes! That will be interesting to see how they handle that. Maybe they'll let him die because he does come back to life? That will be interesting, considering that Enel is pretty much the only major character in the series to actually die yet.

Yep, Wiper kills Enel, but, if anything, they'll cut out a bit of the part with Enel laying dead on the ground, and then cut out the sounds of the heart beating, and just have Enel say something like "That was a nice attempt to hurt me, but it didnt hurt at all!"

thus removing all references to Enel dying.
It'll just look like Enel got knocked back, then stands up again.
Or they could cut out the entire scene (which I would see as equally probable)

Do you think they would edit Gedatsu's skin color so that he doesn't look black? They did that to one of Buggy's crewmen, but Gedatsu is a semi-major character here so it might be too much hassle.

They'll definitely edit the end of the dogfight so that Shura just stabs Gan Forr instead of impales him.

...I have NO idea how they'll handle how Shura gets defeated. Because I honestly think that looked more violent in the anime than it did in the manga. @_@

Definately not. There's no way 4kids will air a whole episode with nothing but two characters arguing. If anything, it's the argument that will be cut down to just a few minutes at most. They won't skip the fight. Too important. But I'm sure they will make it a lot more tame and goofy than it is.

I bet kids will like Luffy vs. Usopp, since most dubbies seem to hate Usopp. But, hopefully this fight, and him and Chopper's Alabasta one will give them a better impression.

I'll hate to see that episode dubbed for one reason: Erica and Jason can't act! 235 and 236 were possibly the most emotional and powerful epiosdes in One Piece, but when you throw crappy 4Kids acting in the mix, all of the drama is gone. I don't know what I'm gonna do if I watch a whole episode of emotionless, annoying, mid-puberty yelling.

What's funny about that is, they try to be politically correct, but still give characters some pretty stereotypical voices. About the Shura fight, they might just say Wiper beat him up offscreen and not show it.

You know, I'm starting to think all these edits are getting to be too illogical (the ones we're predicting).

They are starting to be a little more lax lately with Pell's strangling and Hiruluk's death.

I think we only have to worry about horrible voice acting and nitpicky edits similar to what Narutards complain about. Only, we don't have violence. And our dialouge and acting sucks a lot.

Instead of the fight being emotional, they might make the fight funny with those sound effects. Dubbies will get a kick out of that, since a lot of them hate Usopp. Or, they can cut most of the fight scenes out and make Usopp look like a wimp when Luffy gives him a few hits. Sigh, Now I really hope 4Kids will end the series at the end of Skypiea, so we won't have to see any more of this horror. >_> Water 7 and Enies Lobby are going to look worse than road kill.

I do agree that many of these predictions are rather… illogical. But 4Kids will have to hit a stumbling block some time. If it's not Pell taking the bomb away (you can't exactly get away with that one. Hiluluk disappeared with a crater... but Pell... he actually carried the bomb away, so the kids should see that), then it's gonna probably be Skypiea

Besides, don't forget that despite the lessening of edits, we still have "Trace", "Boogie Powder", and "Nebra"

Okay. I had this wierd dream about Skypiea being dubbed. Don't remember much, but I remember that Enel sounded like the dubbed Perfect Cell. It didn't seem too bad in my dream, but I know it's gonna be far worse when dub Skypeia debuts.

My Water Seven speculation.

Aqua Laguna will be renamed "The Aquatic Avalanche" (because, its basically an avalanche that covers everything with water instead of snow)

Franky will have a california surfer accent,

CP9 will be the "Governments Secret Agents" as "Cipher Pol 9" would sound weird to little kids.

Rob Lucci will have an italian accent
Kalifa won't use "Sexual Harrasment" she'll say something like "Don't talk to me"
Kaku will sound like a more mature Usopp (by more mature, I mean a deeper voice)
Blueno will sound a bit dumb, a really deep voice,
Fukurou will be renamed to something that doesnt sound so much like "Fuck Kuro", and everyone will probably make lots of "Why dont you just zip it!" jokes. He wont say "Cha-pa-pa!"
Kumadori will have all his "attempted suicide" scenes taken out
Jyabura will probably have a punk additude.

Spandam will probably be called "Spandex" by Franky, so it actually looks like an insult.
Enies Lobby will probably be named something like "Grand Line Maximum Security Prison" or something corny like that.
Robin is there to be "locked in the dungeon" for a long long time.
and Gear 2nd will be called "Shifting into Second Gear"

I'm going with the theory of "4Kids is trying to make it look like they made the show." Of course, late in the game they realized they didn't change the names. They went "WE GOTTA CHANGE SOME NAMES!" and thus "Trace" was born.
