Good for Hoshino, looks like she is fully recovered (since i guess otherwise they dont do another anime)
D. Gray-man Anime Adaptation!

Wow, perhaps I should continue from where I left off with the anime (back in 08).
-
Even if the anime is pretty old already, from the preview I'll guess it won't get a Hunter x Hunter-like complete redo…which I actually would like since it's been quite a while since I've read the manga properly (and the arc inside Noah's arc was still the best part).
Nonetheless the little animated part looked dope as hell and I'm sincerely looking forward to it now, although I'm not the biggest fan of the series.
-
I'd like a re-do myself because it's been 10 years, but that isn't to say that the original anime wasn't bad for its time. I remember enjoying it and being sad with it coming to an end. Even with that, it would be good to restart because of the new fans it would draw in and the time it would give to Hoshino (whether recovered or sick at times) not to be bothered about any catching up with the source. Also the HD REDONE SCENES!! XD Super excited to have it back whatever is happening.
-
This part in particular is just fantastic.
-
Haha, Allen has the same voice as Hinata Shouyou (Haikyuu). For now I'd say that doesn't match well.
-
So Allen won't have the same voice as the first anime?
-
New chapter was released today.
-
Ah come oooon. That is how they started Keyman.

Everytime i read a new chapter i ask the same question to myself. "WTF is going on?"

I don't ask myself that question anymore since i expect it to be some random gibberish.

Is the anime of this worth watching?

It's kinda nice. I would show you some clips, but I don't wanna spoil it.

I meant if it's a good adaptation or not. I read the first four volumes last year and i am interested to continue but don't know if i should stick with the manga or watch the anime and then continue with the manga.

Better stick with the manga. The anime stops the story at a certain point.
-
5 episodes in, and the show is already hitting the feels. That's honestly really amazing.
-
I think its a good time to remind that there is a new anime series this year.
-
I like the character designs in this manga but the panels are goddamm confusing. I sometimes have virtually no idea what is going on.

New Preview for upcoming new D.Gray-man animation:
-
Funny, I don't quite remember a Leenale fighting scene with her new hairdo in the manga…
-
I think the first episode will be an 'Everybody's here and we're happy' kind of adventure to introduce the characters and concepts to new viewers.
Then we'll get Timothy's stuff. Was Cross' death sohowed in the first anime? I don't remember when did it ended, I think it was after the first Level 4.
The VAs:
Allen Walker - Murase Ayumu (Shōyō Hinata from HQ)
Kanda Yuu - Sato Takuya (Caesar from JoJo)
Lavi - Hanae Natsuki (Taichi from Digimon Tri, Kousei Arima from Your lie in april)
Leenalee Lee - Kakuma Ai (Female Student E (episode 2) and Tourist B (episode 5) from Stardust Crusaders)
Howard Link - Tachibana Shinnosuke
Arystar Krory III - ???
Miranda Lotto - ???
Timothy Hearst - ???
Alma Karma - ??? -

It ended with that zombie attack from that ghost girl.
-
I guess they'll have to expand on the manga to give the rest of the main cast something to do because the old anime ended shortly before the story became the Allen & Kanda & Johnny Show.
I just remember being hella confused with what was going on after the manga went monthly. Maybe it'll be more clear in animated form.
-
Some other manga get's more clear in anima form like Tokyo Ghoul and Jojo.
-
It ended with that zombie attack from that ghost girl.
Watched the last 3 episodes and it ended on chapter 158, just before the zombie arc. Was it animated in OVA format?
Btw, the Lenalee fighting scene must be from the second half of chapter 169, it seems that they added the main character and use it as introduction.

A Fan-Beloved Character is (kinda) back!

There was a new chapter released. It kind of made sense.
-
Thanks for noticing 4 days later.

This post is deleted!

Wew boy… god knows if anyone still has the mileage to keep following this, but chapter 226 came out months ago, and 227 is out this month. At least with the staggered releases the artwork in New chapters has been top notch.
-
I want to keep up. Do you have a link?
-
Chapter out. Great one!
-
woah that was short.
-
Outside of a hint that Tim belonged to someone close to Cross, it really like filled with shots from previous chapters. Do we really need to be reminded that Cross was killed by Apocrypha a third time?
Following this series has been too hard lately….But it's so gooooooood. I can't take it seeing Allen in a carriage for 3/4 of a year.
