Well, another chapter I enjoyed.
This series can get really good when SIU increases the pace. That is something he definitely needs to improve.
Tower of god
-
-
So Baam is being owned by the little evel Saruman.
Rachel is such a great character!
-
Daaaamn! The best weapon to fight against space is time, therefore speed and i can't but feel anxious to see Baam using Mazino's fighting style.
Fuck them all!… except Rak ofcourse.
-
I'm really glad that SIU is finally being innovative in this new arc. I never expected to see a FUG hostage battle run by Karaka supporters in this series.
-
I was ok to me before this chapter. :getlost: Who can understand FUG? They want to kill the families' leaders, and for that they bet all their money in the slayer strategy. So why they try to force someone to be that slayer? How can be that explained? It's like the worst strategy ever.
And if the problem is the thorn, then they would have been trying to kill Baam and get it back.
So why the game now?
I don't get it.
At least that it's another arc in which the author knows that FUG is doing something different than what the readers think FUG is doing… Which, at this point, is basically bad writting.
-
Season 2 feels worse and worse, its as if SIU planned the first season for years and after finishing it was like "wth do i do now???" .
-
I don't even understand what's happening in this series anymore. And I'm sick of every goddamn story twist being FUG secretly pulling everything behind the scenes. They've reached Aizen levels of ridiculousness.
-
I'm not giving up on this manga just yet, but god it's really trying to make me. Enough with the FUG bullshit, honestly. What's hilarious is that Baam clearly stated "I'm not in FUG anymore" and the dude was like," well if not, we'll hunt you down. "
Haven't you guys been doing that already though? What's the hierarchy in this group? Is there even one?
Just please finish this soon, I'd rather SIU world build and have the characters explore new level than deal with this bullshit. I know it all piggy backs off of Rachel, but I don't think Baam should've met her again so soon after just having an epic "let's get on the damn train" battle. It loses it's appeal when those two meet again and again.
Unless SIU is trying to off Rachel? And Baam climb the tower for himself? But that's not gonna happen, for sure. She's pull ya black beard and trying to gather a strong crew to find ONEPIECE. -_-

Wtf?
It is bad written something made to get involved readers and make them realize the next step? I get bored when things come to me in a silver plate… like in One Piece for example. So not for me.Personally like the way of how SIU thinks, because it makes me think and get involve in the plot and it's enjoyable.
Season 2 feels worse and worse, its as if SIU planned the first season for years and after finishing it was like "wth do i do now???" .
This should be season 3 btw, don't know why the scanlations keep putting it like 2.
Pedro… only great characters are named like that, a geezer which plays the role of a judge to FUG and it looked having fun with it. The info about Karaka being already a Slayer is something worthful. Rachel ain't did a shit on this chap, poor her :ninja: Rak with the losers and Wangnam as always gets the joker card.
Good to see Quaetro again.
-
I liked this chapter, finally someone calls Baam out for his foolish actions.
Hoaquin is probably White, so his strength makes sense.
-
Thank you Jesus this is getting back on track, but I guess we have to remember, Baam ultimately is a kid. So, his emotions will get the better of him until some one does call him out.
-
Where the hell is Koon? Ah… still inside the saint blood shirt, please give him some protagonist.
Rak's got all the attention this chapter… the nourishment, his looks, his power and the Prince with Kamisama along the path.
Funny chapter, Joaquín expects to be some general or king of a country... or create a company to give titles like that. Daniel's tatoo radar was kind of a stupid thing though.
-

Despite the good scolding Hwaryun gave to Baam, most likely we'll suffer some arcs before the conflict between Baam and Rachel comes to a proper solution. And as usual, SIU doesn't make a mistake about Rachel. She's such a great character. It's not easy to write a character that deserves so much hatred by the big audience.
-
Did Rak really say "tricks are for kids"? If so, that is hilarious.
-
Oh my… a stowaway in the train. Wonder who's the next victim.
Baam spitting on Rachel's image, didn't like that. It was supposed to worship her a couple chaps ago. But oh well... SIU started the game with an appealing feeling to Baam wanting to kill foes, which i don't buy so put more Rak on the scene or i will be bored.
Wangnam, on other hand, playing secretly his Rachel's plan got Vicente by giving him chips. That silver sword, possibly controls time aand whether unites with Joaquín or not... sucks this Piccolo/Kami plot, so unless we got Enne with the Colorless stepping the shit after the fuse this would not hype me at all.
What kind of father gives his son a sword, btw? Zahard? :ninja:

I wouldn't say worship. More like "in deniel" phase.
What kind of father doesn't give his son a sword? Also, I like Vicente simplistic view of the world. We would live in a better place if everything was solved with chips giveaways.

Is it a good time to catch up with the series from that big tournament thing where they were manipulated by some kind of Overlord mastermind?

In any moment you'll have to suffer the chapters of that tourney. To me, this season is getting better, with out much secret plot lines and some interesting development for Baam and Rachel.
-
Fucking Rachel. I think I've kinda missed the whole thing and have like 70 chapters ahead of me. I might be on. Thank you.
-

It's still a bit earlier to say, but Hell Train has been better than Workshop battle, so yeah, go for it.

copy/paste from wiki
- The Arie Family is well known for its use of swords and their unique sword techniques, which makes it possible to use swords in very dense Shinsoo. This is taught only to Main family members, Adori Zahard and Adori Zahard's Royal Guards.
- Members of the Arie Family are known for their white hair.
-
^ Thanks man.
My hype is still about to rise anyways.
-
The fuck? Releases only mondays aren't likeable, can't resist but check the raws.
Yuri's aboard The God of Guardians? meaning the god of Headon… damn. The Workshop created the Hell Train, and thor is there because... the Tower said him to be there? kinda weird but that's my explanation if he wants to train an Irregular.
Awesome chapter, next one please some rape to Anna.
-
I think these last few chapters have been (almost) back to Season 1's high standard. No more slow as molasses pacing, lots of exposition and progression, and YURI WOOOOOOOOO! I missed those hair ribbons of hers.

Yes, I'm happy too with this chapter. This new character reconnects the story with the good plot premises: a tower that is like a system that it has to be taken down, the irregulars that are the only weak point of the tower, etc. Let's hope SIU keeps the good job.
-
Hope Baam finally has his shit together after next chapter. Get the story going!
-
I'm just happy that Urek was mentioned again. It's been sooooooo long.
-
So that's how Zahard became the ruler of the tower uhm… Very interesting.
There is some kind of duel between certain dark side and certain good side. Since Zahard became the ruler of the tower thanks to accepting the dark side proposal, most likely the current status quo of the tower is an effect of that, and the tower is just what the dark side wants the tower to be. Many interesting question come to the mind:
- Why the dark side wants another ruler of the tower?
- What would happen between Zahard ad Baam if Baam accepts the proposal?
- We were introduced in terms of "this tower makes your dreams come true", which is the idea Rachel bought. Was that an idea created byt the dark side via Zahard?
Really nice to see that much progress in the series. It's coming back to the good road.
-
I too is liking the way story going..

I'll try…
1-The Dark Side is the Thorn, meaning Enryu's weapon, but i think it has nothing related to him but the Guardian he killed. I believe the Guardians are controlling the Tower through Zahard's Irregular power.
2-Baam would fight Zahard and would win.
3-"Choosing system" is a best way to call it. Thanks to that we have Wangnam in the story. It wasn't well tied but i'm stresses so can't hate. Good thing Urek didn't choose it.

- in comes bitch that wanted my dick a few years back but had to wait till I was legal.*

Pedro has a moustache

unfortunately technically still not legal

so, baam got ….stronger?????? Maybe?
-
so, baam got ….stronger?????? Maybe?
I think he's stronger now. SIU has to make the final fight good. Right now there are four major powers there: the three copies and Baam. Maybe at some point the copy Pedro has will join the battle, since he seems to have planed it that way. The fith copy is a mistery. So, maybe we'll have:
- Vincent and Ana don't participate, with Vincent trying to persuade Ana not to join Hoaqin
- Hoaqin + Pedro's copy (+ the 5th copy) vs Baam
Given that Baam doesn't know what he can do now after the partial training, SIU can use the plot-trick to add a copy to justify Baam's gradually power up. Like in a scheme:
- Baam vs Hoaqin in the firs duel: Baam beats Hoaqin using power level 1 (so to speak)
- Whit Hoaqin beaten, Pedro releases the second copy, who joins Hoaqin
- So we have Hoaqin+Pedro's copy vs Baam, and to win Baam has to increse his power to level 2.
And after that would be the final battle or the fith copy could appear to increse the action.
Not my prefered plot (I'd prefer a complete Hoaqin figthing Baam), but it'll be interesting for sure.
And yes, I see Vicent and Ana climbing the tower with Baam
Oh… and at some point, for the sake of the fan base hatred, when Baam is distracted, Rachel will leave the scene safely... until the next arc.

Guys I need a quick help. Which one of these scanlations (translations) is better than the other?

is it eatmanga the Company's version? If it is, that was really good. But yes, the names are different and the only one availaable you will find in the last chapters is webtoon, so …
-
2nd one is better but you should just stick to webtoons since they're now the official translators for ToG. They have gotten alot better now though compared to the one you posted since that was when they were just starting to do the translations.
If you want the best ones though that would be TheCompany's scans but they stopped as soon as webtoons started doing english translations.

For season 1-2 yeah. But they dropped the series after webtoons started doing the english scans. So probably a few weeks before the 1st link you posted came out.

I remember I went with the company until I dropped it around S2E100. I don't read for like 2 or 3 years maybe. You know you forget the names in these occasions now with the scanlation/name changes it's gonna be a bit harder :-) Thanks for your help. I'm going with webtoons'.
-
you can read the company, but later you won't find chapters with that translation and will have to read webtoon, the only one available. So if you want to deal with the translation issue, you can read The company + webtoon for the last chapters. Or you can read all the chapters of webtoon and not to worry about the translation.

I kind of just wanted a more solid conclusion to the "mini training arc" and the dude said "come back after you're finished!" I highly doubt he does. Which is really sad, tbh. I wonder where this training puts Baam in terms of a Regulars rank?
Basically you want gohan to fight Perfect Cell. :P

Indeed! the cliché: "oh master, I have to go to safe the world before completing the training" always means suffering for the readers. Why is it that mangakas think that's funny? Just make your enemies powerful enough to match a complete trained hero and stop with the stinky illusion… sigh...

pretty much. You see it in manga all the time like Seven deadly sins, onepunch, world trigger, tower of god, Tokyo ghoul, and so on and so forth. However there are exceptions, like DBZ where even if the training is short you always feel like it was sufficient enough to be "next level".
Then you have one piece where you don't even see them train at all and when you do it's for a time skip.
Off topic, but I wish Baam had two thorns, not for more power, it'd just be symmetrically pleasing to my eye.
-

Don't worry. Baam will stick the thorn in Hoaqin's ass and that'll be very simetrical. :ninja:
