@diloul_:
I understood this way too ^^
I asked NY : "Did you change the value for customs to 30$ ?"
They said that they changed nothing.
I just ordered Corazon/ lil'law for 151€ shipping included to France… That price really hurts but it's ok, No new POP until... Well until... Well, i don't know if there is a pop to order unless they realease Lao G ^^'.
Just a little tip : Never use EMS to order if you want to avoi Customs at least for France, don't...
Companys who handle fast shipping for EMS ( Chronopost for France) eagerly charged anything that pass by their hand ( they charge 15€ just for handling customs papers + customs fees, it's a nice income for them).
When you use Parcel, it's handled by National Post and you never have customs of under 20€ and rarely if more than 20€ declared.
I can't tell for otherd countrys.
When I order something from NY, I always put this message in the comments box: "Please mark as gift and lower the item value to 1890 JPY. Thank you." … They did so in the past yet for some time now they just ignore that (not just for me but for other users at MFC too) and put a value of either 2€ or 30€. None of that is good and I've repeatedly asked them to please don't put 2€ coz that's too low and makes custom offices suspicious. The 30€ of course is too high and immediately catches the custom officer's eye too. They say they haven't changed anything but they have. Of course they don't tell you.
What was also really great was when I ordered Tomoe (a Native figure) I chose Registered Airmail as shipping method and paid more than 3,000 yen for that. Now the box turned out much bigger than they expected and they sent me an additional shipping invoice much higher than the first shipping invoice. Now, I won't even complain about that. What I complain about however, is that instead of Registered Airmal (tracking number with RR) they sent it with SAL International Parcel (tracking number with CC) ... which they didn't inform me about or anything. What's so bad about that? Just like EMS, SAL Parcel also gets caught by custom offices ALL THE TIME and of course I was asked to drive to the customs office, show them the receipt and pay extra. If I had known they'd send it via SAL Parcel, I'd have cancelled my order and gotten her from a local shop, in the end that would have been cheaper. -__-
So, to get back on topic ... if you're from the EU and your country has import taxes ... don't get Corazon from NY.
