Really? I thought she 'died' but then just woke up.
My memory is kind of sucking as of late, my apologies. I assumed that the little girl Balrog took from Seth's laboratory was Rose reincarnated, but it just so happens to be another doll.

That was a girl?
I was under the impression Akuma raging demoning Bison killed him for realsies at the end of SF2. I think my memory of the SF timeline is screwed up…
I believe it goes: 1 -> Alpha -> 2 -> 4 -> 3 -> 5.

No. Honestly, we have no idea who that girl or if she's ever going to be addressed ever again. For the most part, we know that she was an experiment of of Shadowloo or SIN.

No. That did happen. Akuma killed Bison. However, Bison's soul left his body and entered one of his many hollow clones, which is why he is alive in Street Fighter 4, which takes places after Street Fighter 2.
In other words: Bison may lose his body, but unless his soul can be contained, Bison can't die.

Has it been confirmed that 5 is after 3?
Fascinating. I often assumed that various characters (including Cammy) had died or retired before/during the events of 3.
Nope it is not said that V is after 3… It could be very well before 3 leading to the downfall of Shadaloo and the rise of the Illuminati... In Chun's Story in 3 (even if could be rectoned) it is said some years after the downfall of Shadaloo.
And we still have still Nash with the glowing gem, which is similar to the one Urien and his Gill have.
But well... They had no problem including Makoto in IV as well... Where seems to have the same age as in III... LOL
Okay good. So maybe we're facing the true end of Shadaloo here.
I'd hope for a legit story mode in this game, but I severely doubt it's gonna happen.
Capcom should release a video/make a site that explains the story of Street Fighter (chronologically speaking).
With Birdie in the game, I don't think Zangief will be present, or I am wrong ?

Birdie (as he is in this game) and Zangief don't overlap much at all, mechanically. I still expect to see another grappler, but I'd love to see Haggar instead.
as for timeline shit, it should be noted that only SFIV (and Juri's storyline) is canon - Super, AE, and Ultra are all dream matches, which is why you have Yun, Ibuki, Makoto, and the rest of these people who ought to be babies in the game. The going headcanon(until capcom confirmed otherwise) ending is that everybody defeated a Seth clone, but Zangief won the tournament and Juri killed the "real" Seth and took over S.I.N.
I hope Adon will be in
Zangief winning is just weird to me. Since he was basically unplayable on the SNES and early playstation versions of all the games. His spinning moves being near impossible to actually do on arrow controls.
Once analogs became a thing he changed entirely…. but he was always an arcade/joystick character... not meant for what most people actually had. So between that, his speed and lack of fireballs, I just have this ingrained feeling of him sucking.

Don't worry I feel the same about character's like Guile and Vega thanks to their weird as hell inputs.

In the last 20+ years, I lost enough matches to my brother - who still to this day plays Zangief (and everyone else for that matter) like a monster no matter the input device - to know that there there aren't Street Fighter characters that suck. Only players. xD

After so many years playing the series, I still can not get a charge character's super move when I want to. So, you probably have that over me. :P
They just announced there will be a SFV presentation at Comic Con this July 9th, and Ono himself will be there. Is it too soon to hope for more character reveals?

Its very possible we will see another character IMO, they have been known to show quite a bit at comicon, i mean we even got that dead in the water darkstalkers sequel trailer there didnt we? Not to mention a good amount of street fighter X tekken characters and mvsc3 there too in the past. Id say a new character will be shown, but the build on the convention floor will still be the one from e3 without said character for sure.
Surprising to see Nash/Charlie as a fireball character this time around.
Soo, according to Siliconera (don't even know how much credibility these guys deserve, honestly, no idea at all), we should expect Alex and Urien from SFIII and Karin and Rainbow Mika from SF Alpha III to be announced sometime in the future for SF V.
If true, this is pretty hype. Again, this is in no way confirmed info as far as I know, so. . .proceed with caution?
I´m going to post this

Are those Hype Sheep?
The stage is based in the Santa Teresa neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro.
It could be Blanka, but I don't associate Rio de Janeiro with Blanka (if it was Amazônia) so I guess is Sean. Or, if we are lucky, Blanka + Sean.
About the sheeps:
Playstation Blog unveiled a new Street Fighter 5 stage this morning alongside the latest details on this month's upcoming beta version. The new environment is called "Forgotten Waterfall" and includes some interesting wildlife.
Or, if we are lucky, Blanka + Sean.
Yes please! I always liked the concept of both Ryu and Ken taking on apprentices (Tho Sakura kind of imposed herself on Ryu). And Blanka was my first Street Fighter, so he's got a special place in my heart!
Can't wait for Sakura/Karin rivalry!
Ken announced
Ok I have my main…
Guy at the end is rumored to be the New Zealand guy... And no it isn't Gouki

So we have Ken Masters now, great, I liked his new hair.

I thought the guy in the end was E. Honda (because of the face paint), but a new character from a new country ? Awesome.
Ken's looks reminds me of Paul in T4. It's kind of nice to see him slightly more different now.
I actually really like the look. I just kind of wish Ryu, Chun-Li and Cammy could all come with new looks.

Poor Cammy's been dealing with that leotard-induced wedgie for twenty years now. I think she's due.
Ryu i understand as far as his design goes, the guy wanders the world and never changes since fighting is all he seeks. But i was hoping wed get to see an old man master ryu at some point. But with alt costumes we cant rule anything out, classic ken will also easily be an option as well.

Heres some gameplay from comicon of ken
A clear face shot of the man from the trailer:
!
The bad guy from How to Train Your Dragon 2!?

That's not Ken that's an East Asian man with dyed blond

His Time Is Now.
Ken looks awesome gameplay wise… But damn his face... And the hair as well.
Further more something I noticed. The legendary kanjis on Ryu's belt are gone o_O
Am I the only one who thinks ken doesn't look bad? I mean its an artstyle choice and I don't mind the change. The hair seems to be no different from Cammy's playdough looking hair so its not bad to me either. (The graphics looks plasticky and fake from the get go to me so I'm sort of numb to how characters will look and accept it.)
As a 20+ year Ken fanboy, I give this new look my official Seal of Approval:
Can not WAIT for the beta!
I actually liked Ken's new hairstyle a lot. And his gameplay look amazing!
Regarding the misterious guy, was he confirmed a new zealander? I like the theory of him being an unmutated Blanka (not that it would make much sense).
Ken is on fire… like Sanji <3
It's seems like they're going more for making the character faces look more realistic and less anime. Cammy has more British features/looks like Kylie Minogue, Chun-Li and Ryu have more Asian features, etc.
So don't forget: Ken is half Japanese. I believe on his mother's side.
Ethnically, he's actually three-quarters Japanese since his mother's Japanese and his father's half-Japanese.
The video compiles SF5 theme songs for Ryu, Ken, Nash, M. Bison and the Forgotten Waterfall stage (new character maybe?), in that order.
Below are the first details on Ken's V-Trigger system, specials & critical art.
V-TRIGGER: Heat Rush
Ken's special moves gain flaming properties and increased forward movement. Also notice the fire visual effects that wrap his body.
V-SKILL: Quick Step (Funjinkyaku)
Cancel normal attacks into this special forward dash! He the dash has follow-up moves into attacks, making it quite useful for closing distance and surprise attacks.
V-REVERSAL: Senpu Nata Otoshi
After blocking, Ken counter attacks with a flaming kick. With the abundance of kick moves at his disposal in Street Fighter V, it's a fitting V-Reversal.
SPECIAL MOVE DETAILS
Hadouken: Ken's Hadouken seems pretty standard… nothing to see here, move along. lol.
Shoryuken: The well-known Shoryuken of the Street Fighter series is of course still strong in SFV. During V-Trigger, its damage and appearance change.
Tatsumaki Senpukyaku: The number of kicks and trajectory change with different button strengths. It also has can be performed on the ground and in the air, giving the attack a number of variations.
CRITICAL ART DETAILS
Guren Enjinkyaku: Ken kicks the opponent upward into the air with a series of flaming kick moves. The camera angle shifts for a final kick to the face.
Would Classic Birdie not be fat then? As he looks pretty much the same from Alpha otherwise.

"Classic" Birdie would be white. :ninja:
It seems silly to offer classic outfits when (mostly) everyone is already wearing them…

Easy money… Ken gets normal hair and his Gi, Charlie will look like a normal human, Birdie will be fat and/or white.
But who cares about costumes. I need ADON...
i hope alex join the street fighter 5 roster he's my favorite character
We have to wait for October for the brazilians fighter(s).
About Birdie, he was muscular in the alpha series and white and the first SF, there wont be a racist problem with that, right ?
I think this classical outfit thing is just a "shissssss" to all those Ken fans that hated his new look.
