Has anyone from Canada ordered from Good Smile Company's website before? Do they only ship by EMS and did you have to pay additional custom taxes? I'm thinking of ordering 2 of their WonFes Nendos, but I'm worried about getting charged custom fees at the post office.
I haven't ordered from them but my experience with EMS is I always got hit by Canada customs, that is why I stopped using EMS period.
Some of their bonuses are pretty awesome, Figma Kill la Kill Satsuki comes with her sword and the broken dagger but I'd be paying like double the cost with the 2000 yen base shipping and all.

Yes I've ordered from them, no customs doesn't do anything. Not unless your parcel's initial price is like $150 or so, then they look at it… you should be good... for 2 nendos and 2k shipping you're looking at what, maybe 10-11k yen or so total? You'll be okay

Yeah, Bandai were a disappointment for me, but then I'm not a sailor moon/kamen rider fan…..
Equally, I was disappointed by max factory.....we got some new announcements, but nothing on the previously announced Hizamaru.....makes we wonder whether the Terra Formar hype train has run out of steam already......
Medicos were by far the stand out for me this WonFes.....looking forward to that Jonathan in May.......
Oh well.....that's it really now for events until Miyazawa in April.....or is there a banpresto prize fair before that?

Kantai Collection must be hugely popular in Japan, their sure making a lot of figures.
There are pics of Guts and Femto painted, they both look great.
Nothing blew me away this fest but definitely some must buys.

The holy grail arrived today! 4,000 yen from Manda…....a lucky find me thinks, I almost don't want to open it (felt the same about my Wamuu lol)...........The Hand should be arriving tomorrow along with Josuke and Echoes ACT.2 & 3.......May have to get Crazy Diamond & Koichi from Amazon JP if they don't come up on Manda soon!! :getlost:
Also arrived today was Goku DOD….......it's a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but the accessories are nice....It's also such a nice display box I don't want to open it, but why do Megahouse always have to make their boxes so damn big!! Could have been half the depth!!

Only strange thing is, I couldn't work out where you're supposed the put the speech box? There is a stick for it, but only 1 hole in the display base which i'm using for the figure itself…....I had to improvise and use a Tamashii Stage ACT.4 in the end......they're great those things!! Now wonder the pre-order for their re-release is already closed everywhere!

As for Lucier, she is made by another company, not Max Factory, so it's not exactly from the same line. That's why the she looks more plain and it's more expensive.

because i'm interest in a figure but this one is a resin/abs figure, i'm not sure if it would worth it as i don't own any resin figures…It depends by the figure: a friend of mine had the Ryuk from Death Note one and it was GREAT, simply beautiful. I have a Tina from Tekken one (if I'm right, it was a gift) and it's just meh. You should search for photos of the real product and decide according to it.

While I'm glad they are finally making a Jonathan figure I'm a little disappointed at how similar he looks to Joseph… =/ At least they didn't forget to include Luck & Pluck!
