Yea, the english 'Zolo' has one of the better voices of the entire dub. And don't worry, I'm working on that Ussop. I also need a new e-mail to use as an MSN account, my dad's in the process of showing me how to do that.
Well, looks like my original ventrilo suggestion came in handy after all. Though let me warn you, in all the time that I've used it, I don't recall there ever being a "save conversation" button or anything.

She hasn't been on MSN for over a week. Same for Haruko. I'll try emailing.

I was planning to try out for Ussop as well, but… I'm running into some problems. Mainly my scheduel. I can still try to find a time to try out, but I don't know if it'll work out (of course, if I make it, I can try to make it work out...).

No. All attacks will remain in japanese.

So it will be like "Gomu Gomu no Pistol" right? Even for things like, "Gomu Gomu no Baku Baku?" Oh well, it doesnt really matter for me, because all of my attacks are things that have to be kept in Japanese, such as "Soru" and "Ranyaku".

I may have to wait a few days till my voice gets back up to at least 80%.
And since I have some time to waste, any suggestions on how I should audition? It looks like I'm mostly just gonna quote lines of his, both funny and serious, and do a few attack lines.
Would there be anything else specific you'd want to hear from me?

I can do Usopp/Sogeking and sing the song too. I'm probably worse than I think, though.
I can bend my voice to weird pitches and voices.

After going through the characters and trying to voice them, I just can't seem to work with them. It always either sounds forced, off-pitch, bland, or bad.

Neither can I…its almost been a year but I still cannot do much with the current cast, I need atleast all the Mugiwara's voice talents filled before I try anything.

Hey, I can't believe I haven't heard anything about this whole thing until today!! I'm kinda sad, I would've loved to do Sanji(I'm British, and I've always imagined Sanji with that kind of accent), but Usopp would be GREAT!! He's one of my favourites. I'm at work right now, but I could get an audition up in a few hours. I'll do a scene from Water 7, and maybe an Alabasta one too. I'm also quite ready to do any other supporting/extras roles that need to be filled.
P.S. Also, I don't know if you've already got someone to do this, but I'm an animator and I have a lot of experience with plenty of pro editing tools, as well as the ENTIRE collection of BG music and Opening/Ending themes, so I could help out with editing the episodes. I can even do things like, for instance, if the recorded voices don't match the lip movements, they can be tweaked so that hey do, without loss of quality. The only thing I don't have are the RAWs and the SFX.

I know you're doing Water 7 first, but I was wondering if the parts of Kuro, Mr. 2 and Eneru are free for whenever you're planning to do them.
I can do a really sinister sounding Kuro with a British accent.
My rendition Mr. 2 is sadly not very faithfull to the original, but it is very funny..
My Eneru is VERY similar to the original Jap voice. It seems that ever since I first heard his sadistic laugh I've been able to mimic it and his voice easily.

Yes! Parz please, audition for whoever you want! I really wanna hear your Mr.2 and especially your Enel. And of course, Usopp.
As for Kuro, G-Force who also voices Sanji will voice him and I rather like it. However I wanna hear yours too.
Your skills sound very good, I still am completely lost in how to use Adobe Premiere, if only their was a more simple tool which can also do a surperior job. Like Windows Movie Maker but not so sucky.

But the fact is, finding people who can actually sing will be even harder than finding voice actors….will you all lend me your strength in finding singers and voice actors? I'm gonna make this dub no matter what, I'm not turning back now.

I say that the openings shouldn't be dubbed, considering, most Anime dubs nowadays don't have dub openings. By the way, who do you need still again?

http://onepiece.i-heart-sushi.net/dreamin.mp3 does sound ace, but I don't think it'll be a good idea to mess with the songs. they already sound great in Japanese, and the fans love 'em, so why change that? Besides, Brad did a dub of "We Are!" and it sounded really lame and cheesy…

Please try Zoro and Usopp. And, Parz. I was the one who always said to leave the japanese op/ed but I also had people going around saying how that disappointed them.
Must likely a singer wont be found so its all good.

I dont know what I should do for Zoro's audtion, but for Usopp I was gonna do the speech before Luffy vs Ussopp and the Sogeking song.

Cool, you could always do Zoro's speech at the very begining of OP about if Luffy gets in the way of his dream he'd have to end his life by the end of his sword.
Thats the part we've used for Zoro's auditions in the past.

Buuhan, do you have a post with all the roles outlined and the VA's to fill them? I have a recorder (low quality) and would like to audition for a non-major role; something small, maybe. My sister is also interested as well.

Sadly, we basicly only got Luffy (Kat Avery), Nami (Haruko/Kagome), & Sanji (G-Force).
Which I suspect they could alter their voice and do minor characters too.
