Time locked. They did the same in thing in the demo. Game Freak has also repeated over and over they will never release DLCs.

But there isn't any data for the Brains. It's not there.

And I've always found Gamefreaks policy towards DLC weird and dumb. They won't release something akin to the Battle Frontier over the internet (something that pretty much everyone has access to), but they'll make me drive to Gamestop (something that not everyone has access to) to get myself a code to get multiple Pokemon, in a series known for needing to "catch them all?"

Gamefreak can suck it.

It's too late to complain about event legendaries when they have been doing this since Red/Blue. But by making Deoxys catchable in this new game, Game Freak has totally broken a cycle and is for the first time ever open to the possibility more event legendaries follow Deoxys steps.

He is not complaining about legendaries, he is pointing out GF faulty logic.

Regarding BF, if it was time locked the data wouldn't need to be in the game already? If the datamine confirmed it isn't, the only chance of it being introduced is through a DLC/patch and we already know GF policy.

And about new megas, the poké bank needs to have the data of all the items available in the games so it can "return" the item to the game once the pokémon holding it is deposited. Datamine of the new patch shows all the new items (including the mega stones) from ORAS and no sign of any unknown mega stone. Of course, new mega stones could be added in a following patch, but it is weird to think a time locked event would be added like that, since someone who got the game early could get the item before the patch is released and lose the item when using PokéBank (that's exactly why the patch was released BEFORE ORAS).

Ok, thoughts thoughts:

-I feel the general speed of battle has been slowed down. But maybe it's just me. I just hope it isn't like diamond where i, kid you not, sometimes fell asleep while battling (well, i was in bed).
-The new features are really cool but since we lost the ability to change screens with l and r (you know, change from PSS to ST to Amie) and everything is done with the touch pad the screen feels a little clustered (PSS, Amie and super training are in one screen where you select them).
-I keep getting uncomfortable using Slakoth cause i keep seeing its ass when i send it to battle and it's totally there in battle in the screen (why do you highlight it like that GF?)

Oh yeah, some other thing. I know x & Y sometimes had camera problems but so far the games has been totally upscreen (except for events). I miss those cameras changes in X&Y even if sometimes they confused me. They were neat.

Mega Rayquaza supposedly does not need a mega stone according to serebii. Which means it should be able to hold another item. As if it wasn't OP enough

I just binged on all the battle music that's been uploaded to Youtube. As expected it's pretty awesome overall, though I do wish the Elite Four theme had kept the clapping sound effects from the GBA. Zinnia's battle theme sounds like it was outsourced to Yoko Shimomura!

And Raikou, Entei, and Suicune use the GBC version of their music lol

Acording to Serebii, BF is not there, but there is Battle Maison again and Battle Somethingelse. So leaving the BF out in this case wouldn't be exactly that, since this game would have replacements for BF.

I know the worst clone of the battle tower is back.
What I'm saying is if all these teasers are pretty much saying that the battle frontier will only appear on the next game so that they have something new for it instead on the remake of the region that origin it and then shove it in our faces with all these teases that's the biggest dick move gamefreak ever did and annoys me even more because Kanto and Johto remakes got more content without losing none of it's features while Hoenn remakes apparently gets one of it's more famous feature cut so that will be in the next games they have in mind so that we will buy said games because we were waiting for said feature for like a decade.

So apparently it's been confirmed Mega Rayquaza can use other items (It doesn't have a mega stone, apparently it'll auto mega evolve as long as you have the dragon ascent move on it). So yeah, Mega Rayquaza is super overpowered. First pokemon to be banned from ubers on Smogon? Maybe along with Primal Groudon too
