UPDATE 5/10/14:
New moves added in the Other/misc section, along with a new link to the in-depth explanation of the two Soru techniques, Heki and Senkou, which has been slightly updated to explain them better:
Next, I have added a diagram sketch for one of Rokukougan techniques. Finally, I also changed the name of Diamond Shell to something shorter.
Kongoukara has been changed to Naikō.
-
I'm glad I stumbled upon this. I've been thinking about Robin and Rokushiki quite often and this project has really made my day.

Thank you very much! I'm really glad that it did! Stay tuned for future updates! ;)

UPDATE 7/5/14:
New techniques in the Rankyaku section. These techniques are actually some of the routines of the Kaika Rankyaku “Che-n: Shinkuro” (Chain: Synchronize) technique that I've wanted to add in for a while but I had kept forgetting to. lol
-
-
From any of the three areas:
- Scissor - The most basic routine. The pairs of legs wave back and forth in an alternating fashion to create air blades that look sort of more focused and arc-like instead of jagged.
- Bicycle - The pair(s) of legs will rotate very fast as if they're rotating petals on a bicycle, creating spinning air blades that look like either Buzzsaws or Shurikens.
-
From the Ground area only:
- Single twist to Heev-ho - After one leg of each pair bends down knee first, the opposite legs will do a couple of continuous very fast spins/twirls, creating spinning air blades that look similar to Lucci's Hyobi. Then both legs of all pairs rear back and throw the air blades towards the target(s).
- Wiggle n' Shake - All pairs of legs wiggle back and forth rapidly which leads to a shower of tiny raining rankyakus similar to Kaku's Kiri Shigure.
-
From the wall area only:
- Frisbee toss - The pair(s) of legs kick out vertically towards the target in an alternating fashion, sending out air blades of if they were tossing cards or frisbees.
-
From the ceiling area only:
- (None yet)
or lying down leg exercises and such, which will result in unleashing air blades in various forms depending the routines she has them doing. (Both rough sketches are drawn by me). Some of these routines are as follows:
-
Also, a new icon has been added, (SK), which indicates a technique that requires Seimei Kikan to use. Thanks to Misa-Kike-chi (who is also my co-writer for my Shadow Blossom Fanfic! ;)) for the suggestion!

Over 60,000 views this thread has! Who would've thought. :D
Anyway, what’s up, folks!?
Years ago, I've promised another well drawn manga/comic style Rokushiki Robin action scene for the Rokushiki Robin project and finally after all this time, I delivered! This, however, will be in multiple parts since they are part of an awesome doujinshi called "Robin: The Rokushiki Demon" drawn and written by a friend of mine named akkym as a commission for me (although the story concept was my idea mind you) using some of the techniques from the project! This, like the previous 1-page only comic made by me and magion02 , is to basically show Robin as a Rokushiki user in action, this time using Doflamingo as her opponent.
Need I inform you all that this was planned out and paid for months ago before I stopped commissioning people months ago due to financial reasons.
Anyway, here are the first two pages of the fan manga:
!
!The second page is where Robin is using Kaika Rankyaku “Keibajou” (Blooming storm legs “Race track”), which some of you may recognize as the same technique that darkeyez07 illustrated for me years ago (this pic) using a rough sketch of the technique that I drew in the past, which is this rough sketch right here:
! ![](http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o319/joesephes/Nico Robin/Rokushiki Robin/Keibajou_zps5a9cea2a.jpg)
Well that’s enough talk for now! Stay tuned for the remaining pages of this fan manga! :D

UPDATE 8/24/14:
1. Two new techniques have been added to the Tekkai section:
- Tetsuhana "Bunki Rariatto" (Branch Clothesline)(H)(M)(OB)(C) - While charging at her enemy with great speed using Soru, Robin sprouts extra arms around one of her original arms while still moving, then hardens them with Tekkai before hitting the target with a multi-arm clothesline!
- Tetsuhana "Tsuru Rariatto" (Vine Clothesline)(H)(M)(OB)(C) - Similar to Bunki Rariatto, only instead of a "branch" or "bouquet" of arms, she makes a line of arms instead, making this technique great for taking out a row of enemies.
2. OK, remember when I said that I'd decided to stop commissioning people for my projects months ago due to financial reasons? Well recently as of last week and a half, I've been testing my budgeting skills and this commission was on my budget list since it was very affordable. I was trying to find the budgeting balance that will allow me to go back to hiring and working with talented artists for my movelist projects like the good old days without putting myself in financial jeopardy (I have groceries and bills to pay after all) and judging by how things are turning out, I think it might work out after all and I couldn't be happier! I'll just have to pray to god that I'll be able to keep it that way. :D
Anyway, here's a brand new illustration (a pencil one but still incredibly amazing)!
!
! RenHuaQiangQuan "Feixing Kē Zidan" (Human Flower gun boxing "Flying Branch bullet" in chinese) - A severely powerful Hana Hana-enhanced multi-legged version of *Feixing Wan Zidan/Gaoyang Wan Zidan (with the extra legs all calf length attached to the knee of the real leg). What you see in the illustration above is the five-legged version, which is great against enemies who have large body frames.
! *Note: The RenQiangQuan "Feixing Wan Zidan"(Human gun boxing "Flying Graceful bullet" in chinese) is a strong and deadly high flying thrust kick that has the same speed and power of Shigan similar to Fukuro's Jugon (Stern beast) technique. Gaoyang Wan Zidan (Soaring Graceful bullet) is a more powerful version of Feixing Wan Zidan where Robin does the latter after projecting herself towards her target with Geppo or Kaika Geppo, thus making the technique even faster and more powerful at jet-speed.
! Illustrated by GarthTheDestroyer using my old rough sketch of the technique (that I drew years ago) as a base:
!Well that's for now! Later!
-
UPDATE 9/9/14:
Two new sketches have been added for the following techniques:
!
! Here's another sketch of Kaika Rankyaku "Daisa" (Blooming Storm Legs "Dicer"), this time illustrating one of the ways of how it is executed. I had to use a couple of screen caps of Kaku using that "Cross-like" Rankyaku at Iceberg's mansion as bases to draw the top part of the sketch. What you see in the sketch is the "six-legged" version.
! Anyway, here the description again for those who want to know about this technique:
! Kaika Rankyaku "Daisā" (ダイサ, Dicer) (N)(M)(H)(OB)(C) - In this technique, Robin simultaneously creates a number of vertical and horizontal air blades that work together to form a Rankyaku net or grid. The attack is named after a kitchen tool known as the food dicer which is used to cut foods such as potatoes and other veggies into pieces. It should also be noted that this technique was based on the Rankyaku that Kaku and Blueno used at Iceburg's mansion during the Water 7 arc and in the OP: Pirate Warriors/Kaizoku Musō*series respectively.!
! Here's a sketch of the **Kaika Soru "Hachi hōhō no konran" (Blooming Shave "Eight way confusion") technique that is illustrating how it is executed. I have to admit that I was having a hard time with this since I can't draw Soru that well just yet. Btw, at step 2, those were suppose to be petals but they came out a tad awkward I think.
! Anyway, here's the description of the technique:
! **Kaika Soru "Hachi hōhō no konran" (Eight way confusion)(N)(M)(H)(RC) - During Soru, Robin will immediately spout multiple clones out of various surfaces including walls, floors, ceiling, or/and even her own body and have them use Soru the moment they come out in order to making her opponents believe that she is moving a lot faster and at different directions simultaneously, thus confusing the heck out of her enemies.
! *Note: This technique is also called Kaika Soru "Konran" (confusion) for short. -
Great stuff.

Btw, what to do you think of the first two pages of the "Robin: The Rokushiki Demon" by my freind Akkym that I had posted earlier? :)

UPDATE 10/6/14:
Two new techniques have been added to the Kami-e section! :)
- Kamihana "Dough" (N) (M) (ONL) - Robin activates Kami-e on a merged group of limbs that are in a form of a thick object (like large hands or boulders) or surface (like walls). However, instead of being limp like paper, it stretches and moves like either clay, dough, or even slime, similar to fukuro's Kami-e "slime" technique.
- Kamihana "Blinds" (N) (M) (ONL) - A technique where when an enemy attacks a "door" of arms that she created (which are sprouted out of two opposing surfaces of an opening wall only, ie Left and Right side surfaces or top and bottom surfaces), Robin activates kami-e to make the arms depart or slide like blinds or curtains, causing the enemy to miss.
-
Hey guys! ^_^
I have a little something that I want to share with you all.
!
(The comic is left to right)
This is an unfinished storyboard sketch that I drew a couple of years ago, which I was planning on giving to magion02 to use for a multi-page Robin vs Lucci fight comic that I was planning on commissioning him to draw for me and my Rokushiki Robin project but I had to put it on hiatus due to major financial problems. To be perfectly honest, however, I deeply still want to continue working on this storyboard since I still have a lot of ideas for it. As for those who are wondering, here's how the fight was going to go down:
**Round 1:
The fight starts off with Robin and Lucci using hand to hand combat and Rokushiki only, with neither of them using DF powers or Haki what so ever.Round 2:
Then later on, they start using Busoshoku Haki (armement Haki), both basic and "Koka" (Hardening) applications. They also eventually start using Kenbunshoku Haki as well to predict each other's moves but neither of them were able to land a blow.Round 3:
Finally, Robin begins to use her DF powers in conjunction with her Rokushiki skills which Lucci responds by transforming into his Hybrid form and doing the same. This is also where Lucci starts using *Naiko (Diamond shell), a highly advance version of Tekkai that uses both physical strength and willpower (Busoshoku Koka) as one. At the end of this round, Robin begins to transform into her Mankai Bushin from!*Note: Yes, the same Naiko from the Rokushiki Robin moveset since it's a universal technique that I came up with that i believe any Rokushiki user can use.
Final Round:
Well…..actually....this I prefer to keep as a secret for now! ;)**sigh One day, I will make this happen eventually. I swear it!
I just don't know when and how, that's all.
-
"Robin tosses her book to a sprouted arm"
I love it…
-
UPDATE 11/2/14:
New technique added to the Tekkai section!
Tetsuhana/Kongouhana "Kyūbu" (Cube) (N)(H)(M)(ONL)- After sprouting a tall, circular wall of arms around her, Robin then makes them all bend and fold in an awkward robotic manner until they form into a cube before she hardens them all with Tekkai/Naikō. She can also do this in preparation for her Kaika Rankyaku: Shinkuro - Wiggle n’ shake technique in order to protect herself from raining Rankyaku blades that the routine produces, just like how Kaku used Tekkai: Mushikaku to protect himself from the raining air blades from his Rankyaku: Kiri Shigure technique.
-
UPDATE 11/17/14:
A couple of changes have been made with two techniques in the Shigan section:Chou Shigan Kenpo Ougi "Saidan Renda" (Ultimate bullet barrage)(H)(N)(M)(T)(OB)(C) - Robin unleashes an almighty flurry of Shigan attacks (including Kaika Shigan Kenpo ones) at the enemy while using Soru to move around him/her in order to strike from all directions, along with using Kaika Soru: Heki to gradually increase her speed in order to keep up the pressure on her target(s) until she completely overwhelms them.
Chou Shigan Kenpo Ougi II "Army's Gardening Wrath" (RC) (N) (M) (H)(T)(OB) (Clones required: 7 if including the real Robin, 8 if it's clones only) – A far more powerful and dangerous version of Saidan Renda where multiple Robins unleashes a fury of Shigan attacks on enemies while moving around in all directions with Soru and Kaika Soru: Heki instead of one Robin.
Along with a new one being added as well:
Chou Shigan Kenpo Ougi III "Artillery garden" (ONL)(T)(N)(H)(M) - While at a distance, Robin blooms a "garden" of arms, which is made out of around 1000 limbs or more, around a group of enemies. She then have all the arms annihilate the enemies with various Kaika Shigan Kenpo attacks!

I very much appreciate your creativity. Thank you for your sweet efforts.

I very much appreciate your creativity. Thank you for your sweet efforts.
And thank you for your kind compliments. I'm really happy that you appreciate the hard work that went into this project. :D
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Oh crap, I can't believe that I've forgotten to mention this earlier!
I just want to let you all know is that after much delay, the long awaited page 3 of the Robin: The Rokushiki Demon Doujinshi by Akkym is finally on it's way, including a title cover for the doujin itself so stay tuned for those! ;)
-
Minor update:
I finally found the Japanese translation for Dough that I can use for Kamihana "Dough". Actually, I found two of them:
Kone-ko
Pankiji
Both mean dough in Japanese. Can you guys help me choose the best one? I really would appreciate it. :)
-
UPDATE 1/7/15:
No new techniques this time, however I've updated one of my comments talking about the difference between Shigan Oren and a Hana Hana enhanced version of it where i've added info about tactics that revolve around stealthily sprouting extra arms during a Shigan Oren barrage and such:
It should also be noted that Hana Hana enhanced versions of the Shigan Oren like the Kaika Shigan: Touren (Orange lotus) technique along with all the other more powerful variants of it (such as "Sekiren", "Kokuren", etc.), can also be executed during a normal Shigan Oren by immediately and gradually blooming extra arms while the attack is still in motion in order to gradually keep up the pressure until she finally overpowers her target or until they are completely destroyed, making this tactic great for guard breaking. Similar tactics can also be applied with the Kaika Shigan: Bai Touren (Double Orange Lotus) technique and all it's more powerful variants when using the two regular armed Shigan: Fukuren (Double lotus) version of Shigan Oren, as well as with other similar rapid-fire Shigan attacks, such as the Kaika Shigan Kenpo: Oren Soku technique.
I plan on updating this comment some more with visual ads eventually, possibly with small gif animations or something.

Hey everyone!
I just want to inform you all that the third page of the "Robin: The Rokushiki Demon" doujin is almost ready. I deeply apologize for the long delay as Akkym was pretty busy so we weren't able to get around to continuing the doujinshi until a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, it should be ready by either today or this weekend.
Stay tuned! ;)
-
What's up, folks!? :D
After months of delay, the third page of the awesome short doujinshi drawn and written by akkym is finally here!!!!
!
As I said before, this is to basically to show Robin as a Rokushiki user in action using techniques from my Rokushiki Robin movelist project, this time using Doflamingo as her opponent.
Anyway, in this page of the fan manga, Robin is using Kaika Shigan Kenpo "Shin Ouren" (Blooming Finger gun/bullet style "True Yellow Lotus"), which Akkym drew using my old rough sketches of this technique as references:
http://shinjojin.deviantart.com/art/Old-Rokushiki-Robin-Roughsketch-of-Shin-Ouren-293080160
These very same concept sketches are also two of the few sketches that I gave HeavyMetalHanzo to use to draw the Kaika Shigan Kenpo "Kouren Soku" Illustration for my Rokushiki Robin project years ago.
–---------------------------------------------------------------
Story concept by me while scripted and drawn by akkym as part of the Rokushiki Robin project: http://goo.gl/W134Uu
To see page 1 of the Fan manga: ROBIN: THE ROKUSHIKI DEMON PAGE 1
To see page 2: ROBIN: THE ROKUSHIKI DEMON PAGE 2 or Rokushiki Robin action scene 2 - part 1(Note: And before you ask, yes I know Robin's shades were missing in page 2.)

Oops! Forgot to post the news on the Opening post of the thread!
My bad! ^^;
Anyway, Enjoy the third page everyone! ;)

UPDATE 2/1/15:
Two new techniques have been added in the Shigan section!
- Kaika Shigan "Vine sting"(H)(N)(M)(T)(OB)(ONL)(OAB)(C)- In this technique, Robin blooms out a line of arms towards her opponent (either straight or overhead like a scorpion's tail) with the last arm of the line piercing the target with Shigan.
- Cien Balle Fleur "MetalStorm" **(M)****(H)****(T)****(N)****(ONL)****(OAB)_** - A VERY powerful version of Shigan Oruen that is executed with over a hundred arms! This technique is based on (and named after)
_Also, a new illustration has been added:
that, as some say, can fire up to one million bullets per minute._
!
! Kaika Rankyaku "Daisā" (ダイサ, Dicer)(N)(M)(H)(OB)****(C) - In this technique, Robin simultaneously creates a number of vertical and horizontal air blades that work together to form a Rankyaku net or grid. The attack is named after a kitchen tool known as the food dicer which is used to cut foods such as potatoes and other veggies into pieces. It should also be noted that this technique was based on the “Cross-like” Rankyaku that Kaku and Blueno used at Iceburg's mansion during the Water 7 arc and in the OP: Pirate Warriors/Kaizoku Musō series respectively.
! Drawn by Garththedestroyer using these two concept sketches of the technique that I drew, one from last year and one from the year before that:
! >!
! >!And that is all for now! :D_

SPECIAL UPDATE 2/6/15:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROBIN!!!! :D
(I know it's a day late but whatever)
To celebrate this wonderful occasion, I made and added six new sketches! The sketches for the following techniques are:
!
! Kaika Rankyaku “Che-n: Ryoko Jujika” (Chain: Traveling Crosses) - With this technique, Robin will sprout several legs from the surface of the wall behind her. Next, she will have them simultaneously perform a single Rankyaku from each leg which will form a ‘side by side’ row. Then she vaults over the row to get out of the way and, right before landing, executes Rankyaku “Hakurai” horizontally which will then connect itself to the row, creating what it seems to be like a multi-cross chain.!
! Doce Balle Fleur “Heibin” (Twelve flower bullets “Wall trap”) - When her enemy in between two closing walls, Robin will have 12 sprouted arms on the walls (6 on the left wall, 6 on the right wall) do shigan on her enemy, creating what looks like a spiked wall booby trap.!
! Kamihana “Kone-ko” (Dough) - Robin activates Kami-e on a merged group of limbs that are in a form of a thick object (like large hands or boulders) or surface (like walls). However, instead of being limp like paper, it stretches and moves like either clay, dough, or even slime, similar to fukuro’s Kami-e “slime” technique.!
! Gigant Rokukougan (Giant Six queen gun) - Simply a giant-sized version of the Rokukougun that is done with two huge arms made out of hundreds or possibly thousands of limbs.!
! Tetsuhana "Hageshii Aro" (Fierce Arrow) - A more powerful version of Tekkai "Aro" (Iron mass "arrow"), where Robin, before diving down towards her target, sprouts multiple legs out of her lower body, then, along with both of original legs, hardens all of the legs with Tekkai before smashing into the enemy super hard.!
! Kaika Kamisori (Blooming Razor) - A more Hana Hana enhanced version of Kamisori that is a combination technique of Kaika Geppo and Kaika Soru “Heki” that allows Robin to move extremely fast in three dimensions at greater speeds. It’s basically an aerial version of Kaika Soru “Heki”, only that it’s activated during Kamisori instead of Soru and uses aspects of Kaika Geppo to have the sprouted feet kicking the air beneath her a few times in an instant instead of the ground.
! Note: I had to give the zigzag effect on the kaika Kamisori a darker pencil shade to further elaborate the speed difference between that technique and the regular Kamisori. And that is all for now! ;)
-
UPDATE 2/16/15:
Added two more sub-styles in the shigan section, both which are technique concepts that i came up with a few years ago and written down but never shared online before now due to various reasons.
- Shinaru Shigan kenpo (N)(H)(T)(M)(OA)****(C) - a version of Shigan Kenpo that utilizes aspects of Kami-e to make the arm bend, just like how Kalifa executed Shinaru Shigan whip in order to make her arm bend like a whip during her Shinaru Shigan “Whip” technique.
- Kaika Shinaru Shigan Kenpo (M)(H)(N)(T)(OB)(OA)(C) - a combination of Kaika Shigan Kenpo and Kami-e similar to regular Shinaru Shigan Kenpo.
Now I know what some of you are thinking "Hey, how the hell do you know if Kalifa was using Kami-e to make her arm bend so strangely when it's not even stated in the one piece wiki and such?"
Well anyone with a good eye and had studied about Kami-e more than enough can easily tell that the second panel of this page of chapter 411 of the manga during her fight with Nami shows her arm wiggling awkwardly BEFORE pulling it back all the way which makes it kind of obvious that she made part of the arm limp to become like paper so it can bend the way it did before pulling it back and whipping it out at blurring speeds towards her target like a whip. I'm highly surprised that not many people noticed that (heck I think even the anime got it wrong with that shaking effect at the beginning of it.)
Anyway, that is all for now. Btw, I am planning on making more Rokushiki Robin sketches soon so stay tuned for those. :)
-
Fixed the link to the page with Kalifa using Shinaru Shigan Whip.
Sorry about that. ^^;
-
OVER 70,000 VIEWS!!! Woohoo!!
Anyway, here's a storyboard that I had been working on for a week out of boredom. This is a scene that is meant to showcase one of the creative ways of using Haki, Rokushiki, and the incredible abilities of the Hana Hana no mi together featuring techniques from my Rokushiki Robin movelist project. I know there are plenty of things that look a bit off in it but believe me, I tried my best so I know I still have much to practice on.
!
Btw, in case some of you have trouble following it, here's the description:
Robin and her big opponent are fighting. Robin disappears using Soru to avoid his punch. Suddenly, two legs appear out of the wall behind him to throw a couple of Rankyakus at him. Opponent notices the air blades coming his way and dodges by jumping up high. Robin reappears above him, heading over to his direction with her leg out while sprouting two more around it. While in the air, he looks up and notices her and panics a little. She hardens all three legs with CoA Hardening and Tekkai in order make the following technique very strong and powerful. The name of this attack is called the *Kongouhana "Fan Ono" (Diamond Flower "Fan Axe")!
Opponent immediately crosses both arms into a blocking stance and hardens both arms with CoA hardening, successfully blocking her attack as he lands on his feet hard, causing the ground under him to crumble from the impact! Unbeknownst to him, the attack was just a set up to leave him open. Robin takes advantage by sprouting arms out of her three legs as well as his body and have them pierce the body with Armament hardened Shigan attacks (aka *Shimagunumu, when means Finger Magnum)!
After the enemy drops his guard due to his injuries, she lifts her legs up, with the two extra legs vanishing, then immediately does a very fast and powerful turning hook kick with the same original leg, forcefully knocking the enemy away right before finally landing on her feet.
And there you go. To be honest, I was hoping to find (or even collab with) someone who can make a well done comic or animation out of this which would be pretty cool. Also, I was gonna make multiple versions of this sketch with different endings but I didn't feel like it. lol
Anyway, I'm still planning on doing more of these soon.
–------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTES:_*Tetsuhana/Kongouhana "Fan Ono" (Iron Flower/Diamond Flower "Fan Axe") - A more powerful version of **Tekkai/Naikō "Ono" (Iron Mass/Diamond shell "Axe") where Robin first leaps high into the air and raises her leg up high, blooming two or three more around it, hardening them all (as well as the original leg) with Tekkai or Naiko right after and finally on her way down, she drops all three/four legs in an arc motion, slamming them hard on the target.
*Shimagunumu (指マグナム, Finger magnum) - This is an evolved form of Shigan with Busoshoku Haki capabilities, this is done by the user infusing their finger(s) with Busoshoku "Koka" (Color of Armaments "Hardening"), making the attack not only far more powerful than a Shigan, but also strong enough to pierce through strong substances, including thick armor! The user can also incorporate the aspects of this technique into his/her other Shigan techniques as well.
**Naikō (内甲, Diamond Shell) - This technique, also named Kongoukara, is an evolved form of Tekkai that combines both physical power (Tekkai) and will power (Busōshoku Haki) into one form. It starts off with the user activating Tekkai first. Then, while Tekkai is activated, the user uses Busōshoku: Kōka (Color of Armaments: Hardening) to concentrate his/her Busōshoku Haki into his/her body (or parts of it) to harden it further to the level of diamond, making it tougher and more durable than ever before and takes on a dull silver-like color instead of the usual black color of Koka. The strength behind this technique depends on both the user’s physical power and willpower. While it is similar to Tekkai “Gou”, as both techniques involves the user hardening his/her body further in some way while Tekkai is activated, the difference being that Gou has the user only tensing his/her body muscles to the max to strengthen his/her Tekkai while Naikō has the user concentrating his/her Haki into his/her body to strengthen his/her Tekkai, not to mention that unlike Tekkai or Tekkai Gou, the user can actually move while the technique is activated due to the willpower aspect, allowing the user to use this technique for both offense and defense without suffering most of the drawbacks that tekkai had on it's own, as long as the user doesn't overdo it._
(I'm still working on a name for that last technique. I was originally going to go with Chikkai (Titanium mass) but I kept going against that decision but now I'm reconsidering on going with that one since it's much more fitting. Let me know what you guys think.)
-
I'd go with Chikkai
-
UPDATE 5/24/15:
Ever since the debut of Robin's newest technique, the Moth Orchid, there has been some major debates about how she sprouted the flapping hands. Some believe she bloomed them out of the sword and the flower field then detached (or "released" for a better word) themselves from the surfaces they sprouted from while others believe that she sprouted them in midair (ie out the surface of the atmosphere itself). I myself have been thinking long and hard on which theory I should create new techniques from. Then finally i said "Ah screw it, i'll just do both", both as in i'll just create TWO sets of new techniques based on both theories respectively with one set being based on the "atmosphere" theory (AB) and the other set based on the "detachment/released" theory (DB), that way no matter which one is wrong, i still have the other set to fall back on. So far i was only able to come up with only 1 for the AB theory and 3 for the DB theory (one of them just being the DB version of the one from the AB set) and a neutral one (one that works with either theory). As you can tell, i'm still working on the AB set since that one is a lot tougher than i thought.
Well anyway, here's what i got down so far:
–-----------
Two new icon indicators!(AB) Utilizes limbs bloomed out of the air itself or can be optionally used by limbs bloomed out of the air (aka atmosphere) itself.
(DB) Requires the sprouted limb to detach/release itself from the surface to use.
And 5 new techniques!
Tobu Tetsuhana/Kaika Rankyaku/Kaika Rante "Limb shuriken" (N)(M)(AB)(C)(H) - In this technique, 4 limbs, whether they be arms or legs, bloom out of the air attached to each other, which Robin grabs and throws it like a shuriken, hardening the sprouted legs with Tekkai or Busoshoku haki right before or after throwing it. Because of how fast it's spinning after being thrown, this technique also incorporates Rankyaku due to the slicing winds circulating around it.
- Shin Shigan (N)(M)(DB)(OA)(T)(C)(HO) - In this technique, Robin first aims one of her original fingers at her target, then sprouts another finger out of the tip of said finger. Finally, after hardening both real AND sprouted fingers with Busoshoku Koka and with strong concentration (with her mind acting like the 'mental-trigger' of sorts), Robin simply shoots the sprouted finger at her target, basically a LITERAL shigan. While it is stronger than Tobu Shigan and Shidan since it uses a solid projectile (aka a finger) instead of air bullets (although it lacks the sharpness that Tobu Shigan possesses), it is also much riskier as the main weakness of the Hana Hana fruit must still be taken into consideration when using this technique, especially against a target that is capable of deflecting (or worse, cutting down) bullet-like projectiles. The aspects of this technique can also be applied to other shigan techniques.
- Tobu Tetsuhana/Kaika Rankyaku/Kaika Rante "Limb shuriken II" (N)(M)(DB)(C)(H) - Almost exactly the same as the (AB) version, however it instead starts off with 4 limbs whether they be arms or legs, blooming out of Robin's hand (all attached to each other) until it sort of looks like a 4 corner (quadruple edged) boomerang, which Robin then throws like a shuriken. The rest of how the technique works is just like the (AB) version.
- Shin Kaika Shigan "Wing raid" (N)(M)(DB)(T)(C)(HO)(W) - while in the air in wing form, Robin sprouts fingers out of her wings and have them use Shin Shigan rapidly to launch an aerial bullet assault!
Ballet der Schmetterling Wirrwasser (Confusing butterfly stream ballet)(C)(N)(AB or DB) - An upgraded version of Ballet der Wirrwasser that uses the (AB) or (DB) method to create flying butterfly hands similar to Moth Orchid to stealth her movements better.
I'll add more to both sets soon. :)

WHOA! That's intense!

UPDATE 3/28/15:
Remember the update that I've posted a few days ago concerning some new techniques being added to the movelist?
http://apforums.net/showthread.php?t=12628&p=3435934&viewfull=1#post3435934
Well yesterday I drew a sketch of one of them, the Shin Shigan. I had to use an online stock image of a "hand gun" pose so I can get the pose down as best as I can since I kept having trouble trying to imagine the pose in my head as I was drawing it, along with using some bullet impact pics as references for the last two panels:
!
Anyway, here's the description of the technique again:
Shin Shigan (N)(M)(DB)(OA)(T)(C)(HO) - In this technique, Robin first aims one of her original fingers at her target, then sprouts another finger out of the tip of said finger.

Sorry for super late response!
Robin's devil fruit seems like she can pull anything without pushing herself too much but it's actually a very physical fruit.I was aware of some of the styles dreamt up by Joesephes through your avatar changes from time to time but I think this thread is awesome.
The latest concept art (can I call it that?) of Shigan is something I went: "Why didn't I think of that?!"
It would have worked really well if Robin was a villain.
Personally, I don't think she'd like to learn the moves used by her greatest enemies in life but what gives haha.I'll try to comment on more next time :)

Well aside from the poor drawing of Nico Robin's hand. You really did outstand yourself gracefully!

Quick update:
It finally happened! Someone FINALLY used one of the artworks from my Rokushiki Robin project in a video, and it's a theory video which is freaking cool! Check it out at the 3:23 mark!
This is so awesome that I feel like crying out of joy right now! :D

Congratulations Joesephes! Took them a while haha

I know right? I mean, this is the very first time that i've seen anything from the project being used in a video that wasn't made by me so this is quite surprising. :D

Congrats, it was only a matter of time!

Okay everyone, I have a question for you all:
Should I open up a Patreon "content creator" account for my projects?
This is something that i had long debated to myself about since i really do need the funding to carry out the plans that i have for my projects, especially my Rokushiki Robin one. These plans include working with talented artists again to create animations, more comics, illustrations and so forth. The problem is that as much as i need to save my own money for important things such as rent, bills, groceries and such, I really don't feel comfortable with the idea of having other people put in their hard-earn money to pay for the fundings of the projects, even back when i tried using paypal donations which didn't work at all as i didn't receive a single cent (No surprise there since i knew it would fail from the start). Still, a part of me feels like giving it one more shot, this time with patreon but i want know what you guys think?
Should i do it or should i not?

I'm not too familar with Patreon, but I think you should advertise your works outside of the forum first. Build a bit of an online presence, you know? Do you have a deviantart account or heck, a YouTube channel?

Well i already have been advertising my projects at other sites over the years, including Naruto forums, Mangahelpers, OnePieceBay, Deviantart, Tumblr, etc.
So yes, i do have a decent amount of online presence. Just not a gigantic one compared to some others. :(
Do you have a deviantart account or heck, a YouTube channel?
Yes to both. I mean, where do you think most of the artworks and the two Rokushiki Robin videos in this thread are linked to? :D
However, the amount of followers that i have on both accounts are merely in the range of 200-400 which is not much these days. :(

Ah okay. Roughly speaking, how many people from each site see your creations or express some interest?

Hmmm…..again, I'm definitely no expert on content creators and all that.
But maybe you should set some kind of milestone where you feel the interest is high enough (or if you feel you can devote more time to it in general) before taking the plunge and setting up the Patreon?
it could even be a time milestone, like, the beginning of July or the end of summer or something.

Hey, it's not like you'd be stealing people's money. Most people work for their money and they spend it how they like. If they spend it/invest it in you that was just a willing and natural exchange of goods. They pay you and in return they get your artwork in comic book format or even animation. That's something any fiscal supporter you might gain would expect if that's the terms of agreement you set. As long as they like what they see and pay you then that's something they want to do in order to get more. I don't know how this Patreon thing works either but it surely works something like that, right?
I say go ahead and start it if it's a free sign up and advertisement for your work. If there's a fee then think about if you can keep paying it or not monthly. Try asking your supporters (the ones you already have) for money, but not for nothing. Try auctioning off artwork and offering prizes to anyone who might help you. Even if people want to donate to you for nothing that's not really true. In reality they have faith and expectations of you to continue your work and expand it, so don't feel bad about getting money for nothing. It's money for hard work. As long as you do the work.
I understand you tried to use PayPal before? I haven't used it in a loong time but if I remember correctly it's not exactly advertisement friendly for projects and the like, but, I don't know, maybe it changed.

I agree with Outerspec. If it's a platform you're interested in supporting your work, I'd say give it a go.
I'm not very knowledgeable about Patreon, but that's my opinion on the matter. -
With your dedication…how could you pass this, look what you`ve been done so far.
(Even PMing me because i posted in here a long time ago^^) -

UPDATE 7/3/15:
A couple of changes have been made to some techniques in the Tekkai section. In fact, the additional changes that i gave them are pretty much the same:
Tetsuhana/Kongouhana "Kyūbu" (Cube) (N)(H)(M)(ONL) - After sprouting a tall, circular wall of arms around her, Robin then makes them all bend and fold in an awkward robotic manner until they form into a cube before she hardens them all with Tekkai/Naikō. It should also be noted that this technique can alternately be used for entrapping/imprisoning enemies.
Tetsuhana/Kongouhana "Sufia" (Sphere) (N)(H)(M)(ONL) - Same as Kyūbu, only that she has the arms take the form of a sphere in order to eliminate all weak spots. It should also be noted that this technique can alternately be used for entrapping/imprisoning enemies.
Tetsuhana/Kongouhana "Koudomu/???" (Steel Dome/???) (N)(H)(M)(ONL) - Robin will sprout whole bunch of arms from the ground all around her until they form a dome and then hardens it with Tekkai/Naikō, which will have it act like an iron dome protecting her from all sides as well as above. She can also use this to defend a group of people, including bystanders and allies, from surrounding attacks. It should also be noted that this technique can alternately be used for entrapping/imprisoning enemies.
Tetsuhana/Kongouhana "Kyodomu/???" (Giant Dome/???) (H)(M)(ONL) - Robin will sprout a thousand arms and have them form an even bigger dome, covering a larger area. It should also be noted that this technique can alternately be used for entrapping/imprisoning enemies.
Also, three new techniques have been added with one in the Rankyaku section, one in the Shigan section, and one in the Soru section. Two of these techniques are actually optional follow ups to the said Tekkai techniques above.
Kaika Kamisori "Ensnaring web" (N)(M)(RC) - A Kamisori variation of Kaika Soru konran where all Robins move around the target(s) with Kamisori or Kaika Kamisori simultaneously. The constant zigzagging blurring of all the ongoing Kamisori movements from all the Robins makes it look like they are entrapping the targets in what looks like a blurry sphere or dome.
Balle fleur "Iron Maiden" (N)(M)(H)(T)(OB) - After executing either Tetsuhana/Kongouhana "Kyubu", "Sufia", or "KouDomu" on the opponent to entrap them, Robin begins to sprout multiple arms inside the trap which all, by her command, either execute shigan continuously one after the other or all at once simultaneously, killing the target inside. This technique is based off of a famous (and possibly fictional) trap/torture device that goes by the same name.
Kaika Rankyaku "Razor trap"(N)(M)(H)(OB) - Same as Balle fleur "Iron Maiden", only with sprouted legs using Rankyaku instead of sprouted arms using Shigan, along with only being executed after activating Tetsuhana/Kongouhana "Koudomu" or "Kyodomu" only. This is based off of various blade traps that have been seen in different forms of fiction.
I also added some extra info in the description of the (OB) icon indicator:
(OB) = Uses replicated limbs sprouted out of the surface of her body as well as the surface of other replicated parts of her own body.
Now about the patreon ordeal, I have decided to put it on hold due to my busy work hours which keeps leaving me constantly drained and stressed with it being summer and all so I don't think I'll have the time and energy to commit to pumping out content constantly to keep patreon pledgers happy. However, i'm still considering on using that option eventually once everything is sorted out.
Finally, due to recent events in the one piece manga/anime, the “Robin: The Rokushiki Demon” doujinshi has been rebooted! Here are the first two pages:

http://akkym.deviantart.com/art/THE-ROKUSHIKI-DEMON-page-2-539788380Page 3 will be coming soon!
Well that’s about it for now! ;)
