That's interesting to know…..luckily, for the time being with the yen so weak it's not having a detrimental affect to collectors, but if the yen goes back to where it was 2 years ago we could all be in trouble!!

Then will certainly be the time to sell any unwanted figures.........

In other news, I just paid my invoice for Momo at BiJ. Only 3,280 yen with shipping! Now I have 3 new figures on their way to me!!

Also, Bargain sales started at HS last week, but so far no Marco or Bellamy................

They have a few June/July items in the sale, so hopefully they will put Bellamy up soon!!

Japan is pretty much doubling their consumption tax rates. I don't know exactly WHY they're raising the tax and where it's going, but I have a hunch that it COULD be for the 2020 Olympics.

I don't think you guys will have to worry about that. Japanese manufacturers already took next years tax increase into account and cut distributor discounts by 10% preemptively in order to offset it.

But I guess it kinda explains the price change between items like Momonosuke and CB-EX Rebecca. Both of which are small, but the price between August and October went from 3,100 yen to 3,800 yen, and the average POP price this year seems to be 8,800 yen….........whereas last year they were coming in at around 8,000 yen.........

I expect Viola and Lao G will probably be 10K at this rate!! lol

I decided to order 4 Scultures BIG from Manda (Kinemon, Zoro, Law, and Croc). Now the problem is, can they fit into a SAL-able box? I calculated the weight and it's 1610 grams for all four so it could be close for the weight aspect but I'm worried about the sizes of the boxes.

Maybe? I don't know how big the boxes are for Kinemon and Law, but Croc's box is bigger than the 1st Zoro Special, and Croco's box dimensions are about 15cm x 20cm x 10cm.

it is possible to fit in a SAL-able box depending on what box they use, if they use the exact measurements box than its ok but u never know what boxes they use.
both zoro and crocodile boxes are big and Trafalgar law and kinemon boxes are small.

Well, it looks like they're shipping the order by SAL but the shipping cost is 3460 yen. I've never seen SAL that high before and a note in the invoice suggests that they're shipping the order in two boxes.

That sucks, so your paying for 2 boxes and registered SAL x2. Something like 1020 yen of that is just the registered fees.

Sweet! Looks like Law Ver.2 is out now! and the final quality doesn't dissapoint!! Shame we didn't have the extra head like the bootleg, but I guess that was to be expected! ~~Still waiting on final invoice from BiJ!!~~ Just paid invoice from BiJ!! Can't wait for him! Barto out next Wednesday!! (Same day as Viola pre-order)

As lovely as she looks, it's again a tad overpriced for what it is…...I'm gonna pass up on pre-orderings and wait until next year........the same as I am for Bellamy,Thunder Soldier, Fujitora, Sugar & Ace (Kid Rebecca & Mugi Nami are a big fat pass!)

I've never seen or heard of Crunchyroll cancelling an order. Crazy! Did you order months after Mihawk went up for order, or at the start?

I did it when he was up for deal(s) of the day, which is usually near the beginning of when he's up for order I guess, months before he's actually in stock and ready to be shipped.

Its just luck in my experience, I managed to grab a Nendo Ive been wanting for a great price and it was the last one they had.

I searched HS and Bellamy is the only pop left that could go on sale sp hopefully you guys snag one. I'll be sure to post if I see him.

So…according amiami Fujitora POP is not sal-able, they propose to me a SAL Parcel of 4400 yen. It seems to me too much, considered i will have to pay taxes on that with that shipping method.
The current prices in Europe aren't better than the amount + custom fees, i really don't know what to do.

Wait for HLJ. Box dimensions are the same as MAS Lucci, and they are the only place to ship him SAL, so you may get him shipped for around 2,000 yen.

Only problem is, it's unlikely he'll get discounted, so you'll still be looking at 11K yen with shipping…........I can't imagine he'll ever go 50% off at HS, but even if he does 4,975 + 6,200 for EMS makes him more expensive.......

Bottom line, it's unlikely you'll snag him for any less than 11K............which is why I passed.........too expensive for what it is............

Edit: Seems everyone had the same idea........I think Fujitora may have been SAL at HLJ as it's now discontinued............I imagine he'll be back up tomorrow though...........HLJ never sell out of POPs!! haha
