How does raising your Capture Level work? I thought the whole point of the Capture Level was to gauge how hard it is to beat, so wouldn't it always be at the "raised" level?
Like how people in Dragon Ball can hide their power level (or how i understood it at least). The beasts hide their capture level by somewhat make themselves look weak ?

What's so inconsistent or ridiculous about a non-blood lusted Toriko using generic attacks not instantly vaporizing the monkey's? If they had legitimately pissed the kings off they would have gotten the Shigematsu treatment. Do you really expect our heroes to lose their shit and go straight HAM on everything that looks at them funny now? In case you forgot, Toriko doesn't kill anything he doesn't plan to eat, which means he was holding back a significant amount of strength.

this is the equivalent of luffy knocking out kizaru in one hit, and then having trouble against random shichibukai subordinates with no names or ranks listed, it doesn't mater if there blood lusted or not fodder shouldn't be that hard to beat for a guy who can instantly destroy one of the worlds strongest characters

now if they had given them you know three or four ranks down from final boss material, and they had trouble with that them, it might be reasonable, but to make an extremely detailed list and have a whole fleshed out chapter set on the fact they can't easily beat the lowest of the low, who are no where near the top, on a really really big totem poll, and then give us what seems to be a beginning of another tedious training arc, so that they can once again have a gigantic power boost to one hit K.O those same characters after they just did that to a world elite is ridiculous, which I guess the series is known for but still

"3 end game bad guys"? You mean NEO's fodder? There are plenty of people and monsters alike out there that are stronger than Boneless, Kariu and Shigematsu. Shigematsu is not the Kizaru of the Torikoverse, lol.

What? Even with "normal" attacks, the kings proved that they are very superior to the monkeys. The monkeys just managed to not die because of their regeneration and their ability to filter out damage. Otherwise, they would already be dead. Zebra even casually ripped the head off one of them and you call that not being fazed just because his regeneration allowed to not die? If the neo members that Toriko killed had regeneration like that, they wouldn't die from just one attack from toriko either.
I won't be satisfied until the 4 Kings are almost accidentally eaten in a giant bowl of cereal, but I'm not picky. It doesn't have to be a giant bowl of cereal.

choperman, I don't know why do you need any explanation, I think it was clear. Toriko using Red's arm beat up everyone. As you can see in this chapter, Zebra is also using his demon's arm and just casually one hitting a nearly lvl 700 monkey (yeah, it regenerated after that, but enemies don't usually grow their heads back). Toriko and the others didn't use their demons, just regular attacks (mind you, Toriko's swing blew up the monkey's leg) so of course 'fodders' won't die that easily. It's clear that the 4HKs are going to fight the 4 masters using their inner demons, so their capture level should between 1000 and 2000 mark. They are still far from the 6000 mark and even from the 4000 mark which one of Jiro's course, the Ashurasaurus has.

Remember the special preparation ingredient called Heat Planet? It was first mentioned by Jirou when he saved Toriko during his first (and disastrous) attempt to take on Gourmet World. Much like the Air Tree helped Toriko survive in his clash against Heracles, I expect this Heat Planet will help them out withstand the insane gravity in that mountain.
