I'm on now! Who's playing?
-
I added you both. Tell me when you want to play
-
@Rolor:

We're in a room right now. I think Rei is hosting it.
I think Rei Hates Bowser Jr. Now
-
We're in a room right now. I think Rei is hosting it.
Yeah he is, we played a couple of one on one matches before you guys arrived.
Welp now I'm hosting
-
I added him, tough he didn't had me yet so I can join you for now
-
It's so hard and fun to play with items xD
-
That was fun while it lasted guys, but I've got to go now, we should definitely do this again!
-
It's so hard and fun to play with items xD
It's really hard! I wasn't expecting them to make such a difference ^^
-
I should go to sleep. It's 4 am D:
-
Real men play with item on for glory
-
@Rolor:
Real men play with item on for glory
Wait, is that possible?
-
Unfortunatly no :(
-
Nah, real men sell pro-pain and pro-pain accessories, I tell you what.
-
i will go soon guys. It's too late.
-
Well that was embarrassing
-
This stage is so complicated and confusing. At some point i thought i was my mii in the upper room xD
-
Dang I wanted to beat that Yoshi at least once, but it's time for bed. Fun matches guys :)
-
Platform stages are the death of me X.X
(that means every stage)
Sorry, have to go b:
-
Gosh dang, now THAT'S what I was looking for, a whooping. Forces me to learn and I feel at the least my Palutena is much better for it.
Thanks much Ouroboros! We gotta play again, I feel I get the desired improvement when facing you and getting trounced often ^^
edit: oh yea, and sorry if you tried the room and I said later. We had a good string of one-on-ones and I really needed them, been a while since I face a strong human opponent in Smash.
-
Oh man, I ended up playing way longer than I should have. My fingers feel all wierd lol.
-
Excellent matches everyone (Nate, Mugen, and whoever that third person was). I realized during those matches that I absolutely love Lil' Mac. Along with Shulk and Zero Suit those are my mains. Secondaries are Lucario, Ness, and Lucina.
-
Mick was kicking my ass so hard at one-on-one that my 3DS froze after this last match ended. :D
Mick, you're a monster and I SUCK at blocking, so there's really no way for me to shield myself against your attacks. Seriously, I'm starting to think that my R button is damaged or something, since it doesn't seem to activate my shield most of the time. I need to look into another configuration, maybe. Also, I've spent this entire time playing with you guys and haven't actually played the game itself (to unlock stuff), so I should get on that.
I'll be more than happy to take on more battles later today, though, especially group battles, since it's where I thrive (i.e. don't get stomped 3 to nothing).

Lol yes. We have to do it again. You're really stubborn, considering how many times Little Mac punched Palutena around. But you eventually learned how to deal with him. Now I have to learn how to deal with you. Everyone wins… eventually haha.

I feel I am naturally better at other characters, like Koopalings, Villager and Dark Pit, with which I was able to win with once at a much faster rate than with palutena. But I am adamant to get good with her default moveset. GOTTA BELIEVE!
Also watching your Robin was a good learning experience, helps me with mine xD

He was a guy I met at this year's E3 Smash event. Dude wasn't kidding when he said he played a mean Yoshi!
Also, you probably love Mac so much because you kept landing those KO punches so easily! Seriously, I think I only saw you miss one or two.

Btw, Mugen, I'm still online if you still want to battle more. Will probably keep on playing online as often as possible until I get used to
the taste ofhumans -
Thanks for the matches guy ! My poor Palutena got wrecked in these last battle

the taste ofhumansI don't know, my ego's still fragile from having Mick hand me my ass in one-on-one combat… :D
Plus, I'm hungry, but if you're still on after I make myself something to eat, I'll gladly play a few matches with you.

The Koopalings were such a pain to deal with. Part of it is because I literally only faced them once before, during the character unlocking. The other part is that they're just plain unpredictable to me. Especially that walking robo bomb. That caused me agony like no tomorrow lol.
This makes two people who say my Robin is good. I'm surprised, considering I like fighters like Little Mac and Captain Falcon. Fast, strong, and simple. I just like overwhelming the enemy with fast and strong strikes, which doesn't lend well to Robin's quirks. You really can't get by spamming her attacks like Little Mac. A little tidbit I found useful is that if you pulled out the Levin sword, you can put it away by just doing a simple neutral attack. Otherwise, it tends to stay out in the air when you don't need it to.

It's on! We can play not serious, I'm up for that too xD … Like I feel I just went too much Palutena and my brain is broken from crazy mindgames, so will probably try other characters xD

You're better at being defensive than you think. I feel your little mac got a fuckton more interesting when I forced you into thinking up the approach. Those matches were legendary mind-game fests.
Still gotta work on not 1) getting grabbed at the edge, and 2) not using jolt haymaker off the side of the stage xD
Meanwhile, I'll work on being more careful with laggy attacks and not leaving myself open for punishment. Soooooo many mistakes. -

Ahh that's why you denied my entry, no problem I understand wanted to play one-on-one

When you go to sleep tonight (if you're not too busy playing Smash lol) you'll be dreaming that you're Palutena. And then you'll see Little Mac dashing back and forth in front of you. And he's got his power meter full. Sweet dreams.

Meanwhile, I'll work on being more careful with laggy attacks and not leaving myself open for punishment. Soooooo many mistakes.Geez, once you learned to grab me, the fights became a lot harder. I feel like my Little Mac play style is like a charging bull; he hits hard, but once you figure him out, he's really easy. A lot of people don't really know how to deal with Little Mac effectively, as Rin found out the hard way. I'm sure once people start learning how to deal with him like you did, I won't be able to charge like a bull anymore. And that makes me sad. Ah well, gotta keep up with the times.
Btw, you haven't seen the worst of me committing suicide with Little Mac. I've somehow managed to kill myself in the first five seconds of the match using his side-special lol. Just ask Purple and Nate.
-
Would anyone like a good ol 1v1?
-
Oh yeah, that IS my settings. I forgot all about them because I rarely ever host the games. I'm guessing it was usually Smiley and Nate who had all items on since they didn't win as often.
The lag wasn't too bad today though. There were some moments where the frame rate slowed to like one per ten seconds, and more rarely moments when everything looked and felt sluggish. But generally whenever we dueled I felt there was generally no lag. Is it different in your game?
I usually don't mess with settings not to mention I don't know were to change the items when I'm online.
This is my first smash but I wasn't expecting to lose every time lol, in your opinion who was the character i used the best when we were fighting? -
I'm looking through my stats to try to find my Global Smash Power and I noticed the playtime:
Solo: 0:15
Group: 4:12Damn! No wonder my game is so bare. :D
Still, those were four very fun hours, so I have absolutely no regrets. Well, except doing so badly once group play ended and one-on-one Smashing began…

The other ones were so ineffective that I pretty much forgot about them the moment the match finished. But you're still a newcomer, don't worry about that. It's better you just find who you like and start practicing with them. Eventually you'll be duking it out like the rest of us.
-
I should be available to play online for the next few hours if someone's up.

Thanks for the feedback.
By the way do we have each other friend codes?
I don't remember if we have. -

I don't remember if we have.No we haven't, since I just added you. My code is 3582-8703-6639.

I'll gladly play some more.
Also Noqanky you need to friend me, I'd like to see what you got.

Im up for it good sir

I need to transfer my Hank Hill Mii from my Wii U to my 3DS. The pro-pain must be brought!
Also, next time I host, I'm getting rid of a few items, such as: the beetle, the space invader thing, and that thing that blows gusts of wind horizontally. That thing is so fucking cheap when used against someone at the edge of a stage…

Those would be the beetle, the boss galaga, and the gust bellows in that order. They're actually not that hard if you know how to deal with them. Except for the gust bellows. That one's just overkill.
-
Great my brother must have turn off the console or something when he was fighting online now I can't go online for 20 minutes. -_-
-
It's a gentleman's agreement that if gust bellows appears, you take it and then drop it so that it bounces around shooting random streams of air. It's the non-broken fun use of that item xD
Btw, just added mickamott. Considering your mario kart skills I'm anticipating more pain xD
-
Yeah, out of the three, the gust bellows is definitely the worst one. The only time I got caught by Boss Galaga was because Mick cornered me with a hammer and knocked me upwards into its beam. The beetle did get me a few times, but I was also able to break free of it at least once, and I think I was also able to reflect it at somebody once (and it was also reflected back at me ).

I don't know how skilled Ouro is with Little Mac first-hand, but Mick is a monster with him, so beware.

Oh geez, another Little Mac, aka Palutena's bane xD
And yea, Ouroboros is pretty nuts with Little Mac.
-
I'm going to use Little Mac. And then I'm going to traumatize everyone in the AP Smash tournaments with just how monstrous and relentless I am with Little Mac. Except Noqanky, because she had 30 minutes worth of that already, and figured out how to deal with it.
-
I got the game today (finally) and am loving it. I have a few favourites (Dark Pit, Swordfighter and Pac-Man), but I really want to get into others.
I am alright at Little Mac, except for my constant accidental suicides. It kinda sucks that both of my mains from Brawl are unlockables (Falco and Jigglypuff)… -
I'm really looking forward to playing some of you guys, especially those of you who use Little Mac ^^
I'll be online in a few hours, but I assume some if not most of you will be asleep…
