When i watched goldenboymarco's Let's Play for "OP: Unlimited world red", i couldn't help but notice all the frobin moments that's in it. I'm an old shipper, so i remember a time way back when when people see it as a weird/gross pairing (mainly bcos it's franky). And there's never any good fanarts because (again, franky) is too ugly (for SH standards that is) and hard to draw lol.
But now this ship even got into OP's movies and games~ im so happy that frobin gets this much attention :wub: I don't care if it's not canon (then again, does anyone care for canonness here), frobin is adorable as heck.
I would post screenshots, but i guess it would be better if you guys go see for yourselves :happy:

I've never been too big on couples, but I always thought it should be ZoroxRobin, SanjixNami. They're sorta like the 2 yins and the 2 yangs getting together, Zoro and Robin are serious, Sanji and Nami are goofy and fun.
Also, any relationship with Luffy never made sense to me. I mean come on, it's LUFFY for christ's sakes! :blink:I totally agree with this with all my heart!

I generally don't ship OP characters with each other, maybe FrankyxRobin cause they're like the mom and dad of the Strawhat crew but I always liked SmokerxAce since there… well, there is no smoke without fire and their personalities seemed to clash very well, it would be a very intresting story. However, now Sabo has the mera mera no mi and I don't like it at all, it's like someone put a crowbar between the cogs and disrupted the whole machine. I hate it, it doesn't go well with anything at all.
Does anyone else think the same? =d

You're shipping Smoker and Ace Right ? , Sabo 's new devil fruit power shouldn't stop you from shipping Ace x Smoker. I like it when fanfics explore what happens in the actual canon, I'm not too fond of AUs (highschool was a… while time ago... for me, for example) and because of my personal preferences Sabo is annoying because I automatically feel as though this scenario should be explored further. If, for example, Ace for some reason would come back to life, how would he react to Sabo having his powers? That's really intresting and something I'd love to see (would he even sink as low as trying to kill Sabo to get his powers back? What's more important?). If he comes back it has to be explored, you can't just ignore Sabo and give Ace back his powers, it wouldn't feel right.
At the same time, the thing that drew me to SmokerxAce was mainly their logias matching so well (plus the whole pirate/marine theme and their personalities but whatever) and since Sabo I have a hard time seeing them "realistically" getting it on since Ace... well, he wont get his powers back. Unless he kills Sabo... and that would make a rather dark story, wouldn't it? Maybe it could work but I'm not sure I'd like Ace if he ended up doing this.
I'm not sure how it would happen. It could probably be done if someone has a good enough imagination and skill to write it down for me but sadly I have neither so I'm at a loss here.
I could, of course, dwell in the past as others do but it kind of... grows old. Same old things. I want things to get updated but I can't see it happening now, if you understand what I mean. -

No, that's just it. I don't think he would like it. I'm not a fanfic writer myself so I can't say if it would be easy for anyone to actually come up with a convincing scenario in which Ace would just go "Oh, cool, you got the fire that's been a part of me for several years now and this means that unless you die I wont ever be able to get those powers back again but who cares? Good for you!" or something. I mean, it is FIREFIST Ace, not many say Portgas D Ace. So yeah. It was part of who he was. If I was him I'd prolly end up hating Sabo.

I don't ship in heterosexually based on reasons.If I had to ship Law I would go with that pairing, I prefer shipping Luffy x Meat though. Like with how Franky always tries to impress her, or how she's unamused with his robot thing, it seems so natural. And with them being opposites personality too. Like what's the term? bringing her out of her shell? yeaaah that, and I just can't see Zoro doing that (esp when he's too preoccupied with swords and booze lol)

You said it yourself, she never seemed to joke with him. With franky she can do so and tease him and even be annoyed with him and like thats actually good?? He brings out the emotion in her lol and that's good considering how she kept everything to herself for twenty years.
He has his mature moments, and if you use the 'she calls him robot etc' then i can say that she doesn't seem annoyed when he rested his head on her lap, or when (for me) i dont think it's necessary for her to grab his balls cause technically if luffy wants him in the crew, than he WILL be in the crew. But she chooses to do it because well she wants him in as well. Also not to forget that oda said they're like the mother and father of the crew.

It's probable nothing new to point out, that the reason that I shipped Frobin is that the two were different type of badguys that started out as enemies for the Strawhats and most likely done some morally gray things in their past and if you think about it, while Franky doesn't come off as book smart, I will not deny that Franky has got to be scientifically smart and does have a serious side to him and Robin as calm and cool as she is has shown recently not very above being goofy .
It can also be argued that what moments Franky/ Robin and Zoro/Robin have together can support them being good friends as well. Also, Why not settle this shipping argument with the Zoro/Robin/Franky OT3 option -

Why are you throwing filler stuff as canon? You can argue that in another one of those omakes that she's with another character like Chopper XD Use SBS, Oda does say that Franky is like the Father and Robin is like the Mother of the family. But then again he also stated a volume or two ago in a SBS that Robin loves Chopper so you can argue for that ;)

But sbs counts as what Oda thinks if the crew is a family, and there are things stated in sbs like birthdays and explanations from oda himself.
