This is something I never really understood, how the heck did Worf reach the New World? Was he swimming? did he climb the red line or does he posses the tiny tiny fruit? which one is it?

Based on what? Is he somehow imprevious to crushing forces of gravity from which even light can't escape? If anything, his sheer mass should make him more vulnerable than a random impel down guard. In any case, gravity doesn't care how tough you are, or how much of a badass you are.
It's always possible Blackbeard can adapt his ability to not crush whatever he absorbs in, but at this point, it's no more than a theory.

There's definitely something we don't know about Wolf as of yet.
There's way to many inconsistencies with his sheer size and his entrance/presence in/escape from ID.

Will water affect him If he's a Devil Fruit user? We know that a Devil Fruit user can be in contact with water to some extent, so I don't think this rule applies to Wolf. I think that it drains your energy completely after reaching your hips.

I guess he just crept behind the HQ. Between Oars Jr., Whitebeard, the Admirals, and the Shichibukai. It isn't unimaginable that the marines left a few things going unnocited. Even if those "things" happen to be the size of a battleship lol

Because they appeared near the end of an already insane, spectacle of a battle. Its easy not to notice a badly hidden giant when you're dodging earthquakes, magma, lasers, prisoners falling from the sky, etc. Marineford was full of very good distractions.

Something in that sense. We saw one Wotan, as far as I can recall, Big Pan from Foxxy Pirates. He was big, although not as big as normal giants. As for Wadatsumi, I think it wasn't specified what exactly he was. Maybe it's a different subspecies living outside Fishman Island. Or he was just an overgrown freak of nature.
Then again, Wolf could be a freak of nature too, only surface world version. I don't know, the logistical troubles of his transport from Paradise to New World are mostly gone if he can breathe underwater. The underwater route is a lot easier, especially when you just betrayed WG.
I'd say it's either that, or BB's or one of new BB pirates' ability. At least one of those new recruits could have a devil fruit.
