@Buuhan1:
Which is exactly what it is. Konami and Kojima themselves as stated Ground Zeroes is merely a short prologue designed to ease players into the new systems and open-ended nature of The Phantom Pain. This prologue may end up being about 10 hours, which while rivals full blown $60 titles in length doesn't change the fact it is essentially a tutorial that should've come included with the upcoming The Phantom Pain, not a cheap $30 cash-grab. This isn't a prequel, this is content directly torn from a single game to make a quick buck.
Given how PP may or may not come out in 2014, with this looking like it's supposed to tie gamers over until then it's kind of hard to be all that upset about it especially if this is longer than your usual demos. @Buuhan1:
And because it was ripped content we can't avoid it either if we want the full story.
Which knowing most people in this day and age they'll have summed up via Youtube & Wiki Pages like those of us that skipped or never played Metal Gear 1 or 2, Solid, Portable Ops, or Peacewalker. @Buuhan1:
It is mindblowing that Konami actually went and did this and for it, as little as it may be, they're not getting my purchase. I'll wait a few years for the eventual "Complete" edition re-release to come out and then I'll buy that… used, for making me have to wait for such a release in the first place.
It's kind of hard to say they're making you wait for something, when your choosing of your own freewill to wait for such a thing in the first place. @Buuhan1:
Let me put this in perspective for you guys… Ground Zeroes is to the Phantom Pain what the Tanker and Virtuous Mission was to MGS2 and 3 respectively.
Or what the Prolouges of Gran Turismo were to Gran Turismo 4 & 5.
