In my opinion there is no 'possible option' when it comes to the crew and eating a devil's fruit. And if it were possible - next to Luffy, Sanji is the least likely to eat one especially the Mera Mera.
1. He's already stated back during Thriller Bark that the Suke Suke fruit was the only one he was ever interested in/willing to eat.
2. Eating it would completely defeat the purpose of him having "Diable Jambe" and "Hell Memories".. -
I don't see a straw hat eating the fruit, if so, what would be the point of the time skip in the first place? We didn't even saw the SH's fighting with their full power, and a logia fruit would completely change the fighting style of whoever ate it, even Sanji.

That would actually give nami a nice powerup without necesarily giving her an extra edge… Fire wind- fire thunder- fire whatever climate? who would dislike that. First thunder then wind then fire...she just needs earth, water and heart so she can summon captain planet... Oh wait Law can help with the heart part ...

Has it ever been stated that an object without conciousness cannot use a devil fruit ? I truly can't remember. What I believe is that the "breath of all things" is the answer to our questions. It seems to be a harmonization of any entity wih the universe regardless of that entity having a conciousness or not

Is it though? We don't really know too much about these artificial Devil Fruits, and we certainly don't know if eating two artificial fruits will have the same reaction as eating two normal Devil Fruits. We also don't know for sure what happens if you eat an artificial one and then a real one. So who knows?

Exactly, people need to stop making assumptions about Devil Fruits, when we barely know anything about them.
Everyone is saying that SMILE users can also have a real Devil Fruit, and objects can eat Logias and Paramecias.

Well we really don't know much about Devil Fruits but those "facts" (more like tales) tell me that other than Blackbeard nobody can use more than one Devil Fruit.
The artificial nature of Momonosuke's Devil Fruit at the moment expresses it only in the instability of his transformation but otherwise we have seen only similarities to the previous Zoan Fruits. -
I already know that nobody in the crew will eat the fruit. That's for sure.

To be fair no one is saying that objects can eat logias or paramecias, but at the same time there isn´t a definite statement or law that proves that objects cannot have powers imbued from logia or paramecia DF´´s hence we´´re travelling in a gray area. Call it speculation:ninja:

But there are reasons why objects shouldn't be able to have Logia and parameica fruits. Most of the parameica and all logia users have their normal body when they aren't active. Two of the few exceptions are Luffy and also Alvidia who are seemingly always rubber or slippery.

Getsuga you got that right, Franky would need to add an floating wheel around sunny or something.
I´ve got a somewhat weird but at the same time logical question. Why isn´t the "plant the fruit or seed" to grow a new tree even an option?. I mean we´ve got a mikan (orange) small plantation on the Sunny so trying to grow a fruit from the mera mera no mi (if that is even a possibility) isn´t truly out of the realm of the question, is it?. Don´t ask me about the technicalities. All in all has anyone asked what would happen if you plant a devil fruit?, would a tree grow or would the soil under be affected by it. I know this is a strange take on the matter, but its one of the logical outcomes at least in real life. You can either eat it, let it alone so it rots or plant it. I´ll just leave this point floating in case someone wants to elaborate on it.
