As soon as I read that an old superstar was coming back, a little piece of me hoped it was Jake "The Snake" Roberts. I know he won't come back, but gosh darn it he's my favorite wrestler of all time. I loved how he would get into people's heads.

Did anyone catch TNA on Saturday? (It's normally on Thursday but there are reruns on Sat.) It stated starting this Thursday TNA will be 2 hours long. I enjoyed watching TNA. It's very different from WWE. Plus, the Dudley Boyz! And Rikishi apparently had an appearance two weeks ago. :D I don't know if he permanently works for TNA but here's hoping.
Now all TNA has to do is hire La Parka and I'll officially convert to them.
I'd never wish an injury on him, but I think this is definitely a blessing in disguise.

If that is true, then I am excited again. My only selling point for No Mercy was the Last Man Standing, but to have Orton get the title over Taker would be great.

Losing Cena to injury sucks, especially with the lack of talent depth right now. Having him lose the belt might not have been bad, but he drew a reaction from the crowd (good or bad), and now WWE doesn't have him at ALL.
I don't want Orton winning (Champ!Orton is boring IMO), and Taker's on a much shorter schedule now, and has had plenty of titles. I'd rather some new blood take the belt; maybe Jeff Hardy, or Mr. Kennedy…
Then again, ANYONE as champ would be better than Umaga, or Khali. :sick:
Kurt Angle Wrestles DUI, Careless Driving Charges
Former Olympian Admitted To Driving Car From Local Bar
MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Wrestler and former Olympian Kurt Angle was arrested on a charge of drunk driving last Friday afternoon.
Moon Township police got a report of an erratic driver. The description of the car and the driver matched that of Angle.
Police went to Angle's home and they said he admitted to driving the car home from a local bar.
Officials said Angle failed a field sobriety test but refused a blood test. Angle is charged with driving under the influence and careless driving.
Angle won a gold medal in wrestling at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

Wrestling-wise, yes, Umaga's good. But his character does nothing but scream and squash people; unless WWE changed his gimmick and allowed him to actually SPEAK in his promos (and no managers/MacMahon to speak for him), I think he'd be a pretty dull Champion.
I knew Trips would get the belt back eventually, but he's on my list of guys with enough title reigns in a short time period. Seems for the last 6 years, EVERY champ that isn't HHH has been a transitional champ… xD; I really am hoping for someone new to get the ball.
I'm also hoping that Jericho will come back to us sooner than later. We need some of the ol' Canadian Charisma back on RAW, and now seems like a damn good time. I get the feeling it may be a Mick Foley-esque way though; coming to promote his book on TV a few months, then disappearing for awhile. Which would be utter suckage and a damn tease (teasing is what Jericho does..).

I don't understand why so many people act like that is a fair opinion. Orton has only held the title once, and only for one month! He didn't actually get any time to do anything with the belt, and his HHH rivalry became boring because HHH likes to hog the belt and try to carry the company on two bad quads!
So many people cheer the idea of Orton pounding Cena, but don't actually want him to be champ… how odd.
Orton's been one of my favorite wrestlers for a while now, because of his sheer skill and finesse in the ring. He goes psychotic in his anger promos and sheer malicious intent in his calm ones.

Like you, I want Kennedy to win the title, but now is really not the time, since he just came back from that suspension, before which he had just returned from that injury. Apparently, the plan was for him to take the title off Taker instead of Edge back in May but then Kennedy himself got injured.
I'm fine with Orton as the champion, because he's pretty good as top heel. However, the only way I'll be fine with him transitional champ for Triple H is if the following rumor is true:

I agree that Khali is a horrible champion. The guy sounds like his mouth is full of soap when he speaks. I hate that. And Orton, as much as his character's actions make me hate him, should be champion. Though I'd also like to see Carlito have a belt around his waist soon. And, of course, I want Boogeyman to become ECW champion soon.

Well, we've got some good news, some bad news, and some possible DAMN good news.
According to http://www.wrestlezone.com/ , Cena's surgery went well, and they managed to repair his tendon. Bad news is, he'll be missing Wrestlemania next year, as he'll be out at LEAST 6 months, if not a year.
Also according to http://www.wrestlezone.com , TNA Sources are saying Chris Jericho has signed a new deal with WWE! Apparantly he backed away from talks with TNA 2 weeks ago, when those mysterious videos started coming out.

Anyway, when do you think the next Elimination Chamber match is going to be? It's getting around that time of year. There's no New Year's Revolution or December to Dismember next year, so it'll probably wind up on Survivor Series or Armageddon. By the looks of the title pictures, I'd say Smackdown gets it this time, with Batista, Edge, Mysterio, Taker, Finlay, and either Khali or Kane.
! Apparently Edge is feuding with Taker for the title at the next Mania with Edge defending, so this could be a way to get the title from Batista to Edge without them having another feud, seeing as they just had one a few months ago.

Tonight is No Mercy, I heard a couple of rumors that Chris Jericho will be the surpise entrants in the rumor battle royale.
According to some new TNA's mobile alerts, Kid Kash was spotted at the TNA offices in Nashville, TN earlier this week. Kash was released by TNA in April of 2005 and made a jump to WWE shortly afterwards. He was released by WWE in September of 2006.
There was also an alert sent out recently by TNA that the company is talks with a former WWE Intercontinental and European Champion. This is believed to be D'Lo Brown according to Gerweck.net.

Okay, so Orton becomes champion after all in a Last Man Standing Match. They crammed about a months' worth of Orton/Hunter feud-building into one night. I guess three Triple H matches in one night is overkill. They put Orton over HUGE tonight, maybe he won't just be a transitional champion. Three world title changes tonight if you count Orton being awarded the title, so he's now on his third world title reign and Triple H has completed his eleventh.
Anyway - Orton/Hunter in a pick-the-stipulation match (Hell in a Cell being one of the options, so obviously that will get the most votes) at Cyber Sunday.
Where was Jericho T_T They aired another 222 promo, though, so it looks like he'll still be back, just maybe at Cyber Sunday (to go along with the "cyber' nature of those 222 promos). At chrisjericho.com, if you highlight the entire page, you can find @@@, which is a capitalized 222. More hints. And hahaha, the crowd chants "Y2J" and Vince says "You're not getting that tonight." By the way, when the hell are Matt and MVP going to have their US title match already? Probably after they drop the Tag Titles (presumably to Kane/Taker), but still, it's been months now. They've only faced each other once, and that was way back in July.
No Mercy was a pretty great PPV tonight. I enjoy Triple H Vs. Orton Round 2, with all the false endings and stuff. I like the way Finlay and Rey Rey storyline is going as well.
WELL, sure didn't see that Orton/HHH rematchy-thing coming. Guess that's what they meant by making history. Losing and regaining the belt in one night…ah well, maybe that means we won't see Vinny Mac in the ring for awhile, since Trip's and Orton'll be going at it. =D

What a great week. I can see why Jericho didn't return at No Mercy, there's way too many other things going on. I wonder if HBK's going to be added to the Orton/Triple H match at Cyber Sunday, or if he's even going to be really wrestling. Still, he's back, and a lot sooner than I thought. AWESOME.
It's too bad Taker's banged up so bad. The original plan for Cyber Sunday was Batista/Khali/Henry/Taker for the WHC, but Taker and Henry were swapped out for Finlay and Mysterio. I"m guessing in that Tag Team title match on Smackdown, Kane's going to be in the ring 90% of the time.
And it looks like we may be getting a Kennedy/Jeff Hardy feud for the Intercontinental title, which should also be absolutely awesome.
Mr. Kennedy and Jeff Hardy feud should be great, since they both of them will on the main event picture in the next year or so. Since we know that a lot of the older guys are going to be retiring soon. So its kind time to begin pushing the younger talent like they are doing with both Matt and MVP on Smackdown.
If anyone says they were expecting HBK to return tonight, I think they're lying. This was so outta left field, it's crazy. Not a single hint of it all night, no reports online, NOTHING. I'm guessing once Cena was taken out, HBK realized how bad RAW needed him right now and agreed to return. Rather proud of him for that, especially after the reports of him enjoying spending time at home with the family, and not wanting to rush a comeback.
(And, on a fangirly sidenote, I rather like the scruffy look on HBK. :wub:)
I'm rather impressed with the Kennedy/Hardy feud so far. Those two work well off each other; last night's match was the highlight match for me, and I think they'll continue to be that for the next little while. London/Kendrick vs. Highlanders were good tonight too, it's nice to see some talent in the tag team race. Though I wish they'd change the Highlanders gimmick a bit.
And as Sano said, it's time to start grooming to younger generation to take thier place at the top of the roster. Not all the current legends will be able to make it into thier 50's like Flair (who supposedly planned to retire this coming Wrestlemania).
And yet another mystery video, with another bible reference (REV 22:12). Can't see any other new clues though. It's more of the same from the first videos.

ECW main event for Cyber Sunday have been annouced. For the ECW title we get to pick CM Punk's oppoent from the following choices: Big Daddy V, The Miz, or John Morrison.
I voted for Morrison. Since I don't BDV near the title scene again, and I want Miz to continue his feud with Balls. I'm surpise Tommy Dreamer, or Elijah Burke were choices.
Dammit, Teddy Hart's been released from WWE developmental. They're thinking of scrapping the Hart Foundation 2.0 altogether now (since Teddy was the Hart in Hart Foundation). Dunno what this means for the other 2 members of Hart 2.0, but I still hope they bring them up.

Perhaps to see how the fans react to them; I'm glad to see WWE isn't screwing these two over for the crap Teddy Hart did. I'd still like to whap that guy over the head…Hart or not, you still gotta work man!
Kinda-Bad News: Reportedly, Jeff Hardy suffered a minor neck injury at a show in Germany during a main event fight with Randy Orton (botched RKO). They took X-rays and showed up negative. Hopefully this injury will stay minor even if Hardy works through it. Last thing we need is to lose Hardy to injury too. D=
