Law's animal theme is a tiger. Blackbeard's is a bearded pig, and if Buggy is a Shichibukai, then he has one as well.
Urm… Blackbeards theme is a Hippo (if any). In one of the POP Neo Figurine thingy's a few pirates were transformed into animals and BB was a Hippo.
You can't say that just cuz Luffy calls him Tora-man/guy that his animal theme is explicitly a Tiger. When romanized Trafalgar becomes Torafaruga, so really Luffy's just using his quirk nick-naming people.... Buggy being a bug was a joke theory (well I think it was a joke) that someone stated earlier.
Oh and you're right about the Admirals, their theme and bla bla bla. They are based on that story but it'd be more correct to say that they WERE based on it. Not anymore (the three animals yeah..).. One admiral resigned, the other was promoted end of story. I'm not saying there are or are not any new admirals but CCC is a G. He's cleared up the whole plural thing so...

I agree with Foxy that Blackbeard's theme is that of a pig. It fits not only because of that comment, but because of symbology. So if we can base the idea of Blackbeard's animal theme on that one comments, Foxy - and I think we can - then why can we not base the idea of there being more than one Admiral on one single comment?

As far as we know, Law could trigger a fight between DD, Kaidou and one or more of the admirals.That would be fantastic, let them rumble and them come in and finish the job. It would be similar to the war that happened 2 years ago all over again, except this time you won't see so many fighters half assing fights but rather fighting for their lives. Law's plan would have to be absolutely perfect though, and it's already implied his plan will fail at some point due to Dofla's past…
I don't see Law giving Ceasar back either.

i could see this go 2 ways for law, either don flamingo quits and jons kaidou , or he has the admirals on his side and the new shichibukai , i would prefer the marines and facing kaidou of course that would be my decision but the marines never been interested in protecting the shichibukai so they migh just let him lose and hope that kaidou apears.

I wouldn't go as far as to call him a Sasuke, and I don't hate him as much as you or The Daz, but. . .he's definitely walking on the edge. You can only keep your smugness and get away with it for so long. . .
I liked him during his pre-time skip mind set; laid back, cocky bastard. Rude, smug, yes, but kinda charming in his own right.
Now he's more like a stick-up-his-ass schemer, and what's worse is that everything goes acording to his plans.
That's why, even while in the end they are just minor inconveniences, Luffy constantly NOT doing as Law tells him is super satisfying.
And that's also why, when things go wrong, and THEY MUST GO WRONG one way or another, or else it would be too easy, (Big Mam entering the fray and not being in Law's calculations; Dofla coming with a counter plan that leaves Law in a bad situation; wathever. . .), it will be super uber satisfying; and also, by making him more human, less god like in both his powers and the power of his planning, he'll become more likable. It's a win win situation.

And the SHs mostly always complete their objectives as well, and usually have a plan in the beginning (which Luffy doesn't care about and usually messes it up). When this happens, its considered that their initial plan failed right ?? Or are they considered as some cocky schemers that have everything go according to their plans ??

We're discussing why some of us feel why Law's "too cool" attitude isn't all that. We're expressing how we feel about Law. Not on if Law's character is needed. Of course Law is a breathe of fresh air. He's a great character! We just want to see him struggle a little bit. Not make things look so easy. You rambling about Luffy vs Law wasn't even relevant.

It's the case of a character that was supposed to be at Luffy's level when introduced being incredibly tough now and only the SH out of the Supernovas are allowed to have any real purpose in the story according to some people, that's why you see constantly ridiculous and stupid decisions in here as to why he's unlikeable. If Zoro would have done what Law has done (excluding instigating Doflamingo), all the whiners would be talking about how strong and cool Zoro is. That's why there's really no point talking about it to the people that have made up their mind as it's not changing ;).. as there is a rule that if you look hard enough for flaws, you will find them in anything. :)
From a very cynicle point of view, I'd like Law to come out of nowhere when Luffy gives Kaido a nice beating, take his heart, crush it and sit in his throne. Then come in here and watch the reactions. :D At first I thought Law was the official troll of One Piece, but he's the troll of AP as well. :S

I hope to god that he has a PERSONAL and EMOTIONAL motivation for his master plan, or else he'll start looking more and more like a Republic serial villain. And hey, that might not actually be so bad, as long as the SHs beat the pulp out of him after he betrays them.

I'm hoping Law goes the "Robin route". In the beginning I guess we could argue the same about Robin's character as we are doing with Law's. Kind of bland, just always smiling and not really as out going as the rest of the Strawhats. But when we got her flashback and really got to see her in a struggling situation, we've come to appreciate her a lot more. In fact, her character just blossom out and it all began to make all the sense in the world.

I guess it's all about how Law executed his plans and even his actions after those plans backfired. I never got the sense that he was in a rut or that he miscalculated anything.
As far as Law's execution of his plans are concerned, I don't think we've ever seen another character (from a protagonist's perspective) do things as cleanly as Law has done. Especially not with Luffy. The Strawhats always run into things that they were never quite prepared for. With Law it just feels that no matter what happens he's 10 steps ahead. Characters like that are cool, but it's just not the One Piece way. I do love Mr. Prince's schemes tho.
But he did miscalculate things. So once that happened, he compromised and thought up a different way to get things done, just like the SHs always have to do when Luffy messes things up.
The plan was hardly smooth. He only got his heart back because of smoker's help. He would have been in trouble without him. CC almost managed to escape, its lucky that franky was there to stop baby 5 and buffalo from retrieving CC. And surprise surprise, the one who almost messed it up was again Luffy.
Law also ran into things he did not prepare for, but just like the SHs, he managed to get to his objective somehow. This shows that he isn't 10 steps ahead, there was a lot of luck involved in getting to his objective.
Lastly, its not that its not the one piece way, more like its not the Luffy way. Luffy does not plan anything. He planned to enter the grand line in a small boat initially ffs. Not only does he not plan anything, he ruins other peoples plans as well (one of the reasons I love him). The other SHs actually try to take some precaution and plan things ahead, but as you know Luffy rarely follows it.
I would not really worry about laws plans, in the end Luffy always does what he likes.
Bottom line is that everything did not go as Law had initially planned.

i have no problems with Law personally, he's a total bad ass, but would it kill him to show a god damn enel face once? All he's done on punk hazard was -> look annoyed -> look annoyed -> smirk -> look annoyed -> look annoyed and cycle that.

The word you are looking for is "resourceful". He asked luffy to catch CC, and he did. Sure he punched him through a wall but that's it. His plan to defeat kaido, is going according to what he initially planned.

It seems most people have assumed Doflamingo is stuck here because of his anger at the end of the chapter. But it is that farfetched to believe someone like Dofla can't manipulate someone into printing that he's stepped down, while he could easily explain to the Navy he has no intentions of doing so. ASSUMING Law DOES send CC back, he's won. I'm sure someone as built-up as Dofla has prepared for this kind of situation, even if my idea itself is a bit pants.
