Yes, I was very pleased with Shakki, and I got Duval as well. Both have great detail, sculpt, and paint. Since I won them in the prize machines, I feel like this is a good place to stop collecting WCF ^_^;; But then again, if the arcades I went to did still have the TS strawhat crew I would have totally won those, too ^o^ They were completely gone, though ;A;

I kinda stop collecting WCF too (well I was a late starter though), sold some of my collections and keep the ones special for me.
I only have vol.2, 3, 9, 15, 16 in complete set and some characters of the later volumes and the IK WCF (like Whitebeard, Shanks, Foxy, Luffy moustache, afro, Usopp, etc.)
But it would be hard to resist the WCF kids (don't remember either vol.27 or 28).
They are just too cute. Hopefully the effort would be at least as good as this special set. :)

I'm not so sold on the WCF kids. I'll get Robin but that's about it really. The hilarity of having Kid Shirahoshi way before Shirahoshi regular makes me giggle tho. I'm more interested in the set after (I think) with Kung-fu, Keimie, Brook and Shirley.

And then it takes a few months out to do the animals >.< Kinda wish that line ran alongside the main line. But meh.

I really like GLL Shirahoshi but I already got the POP and I feel I don't love the char enough to so many figs of her… But I am wondering if I'd enjoy the GLL more than the POP.

Well, this was certainly a suprise. Im sure some of you were aware of my questions reguarding Mandarake for ordering Grandline figures. Well last weekend I did order some. Was a little pricey for postage but I can certainly see where it went. They arrived yesterday, about 3-4 days after being shipped! :blink: What is mad is that the other figure I ordered from Neon Martian (thanks for everyone who mentioned him to me before I went to the expo btw) hasnt yet arrived and thats from within the same country. I am very happy with these figures and definately going to order more when I have the spare cash!

I have to agree the bust size is a silly on the girls, but I really do like the quality of the Hooks. This set turned out really nice. I'm totally in love with winking Nami and Perona is also very cute.

Will be getting this regardless, just hope mine doesn't turn out crap. (That's a big leap of faith)

This exactly. Shame that the rather nice sculpt is ruined by FA's terrible QC. I had 3 of the same FA ace and had to swap parts to get a decent looking one. This would probably be more of the same but I don't want to shell out this time (I suppose if I get a terrible one I might look through the 50 Aces that are bound to be at New York Comicon to get a decent one). Ugh… he's got a big splotch on his forehead, the paint on his teeth has gotten on his lip, don't get me started on that terrible green...

Honestly they don't. They know Ace will sell, and they'll see money in their pockets. I believe that is the baseline that they work towards. It's the sad truth that we as figure collector's already know and unfortunately, the figure ultimately suffers in the end by not getting the final treatment it deserves. No, instead we get wonderful pieces like this. Complete with glaring paint errors all over the finished product.

They don't give a crap. They know people will buy it anyways. Hell the only reason we have a third Ace in the line is because they know people will buy it regardless of what it looks like.

Thanks to Enzeru I finally got SW Robin IK and also got Bearsy and Chopper. Bearsy looks great next to Perhona.

I seen alot at the shop with ace head got alot of black blotches on his forehead and some other problems, but this one isnt so bad i guess, that green on his paints doesnt really bothers me, seems its pairt of his design tho :-0

She's also a breakable cast-off like the POP, the first case in a Figuarts ZERO. I suppose it was easy to do a top apart.

bearsy in metallic wasn't exactly expected, but perona looks nice. one of those horos has an odd square shoulder though.

Killer's dynamic pose makes me a bit nervous, with his knee being held up with an acrylic riser. I hope his hair doesn't warp over time, too.

Kid looks great imho. I really wasn't planning to buy him, but now I don't think I can pass him up. Makes me sad the Law and Bonney POPs weren't to my liking >_<;;
