Jay tweeted yesterday that he's going back and will explore the tunnel.
This is it people! Season 3's been kind of a slow build up to this point as they finally developed Tim, but we're about to get the game changing entry that kicks the second half of this final season into overdrive!
In other news, I'm flying back home tomorrow to visit my family for a couple of weeks.
We live next to a huge forest….
It's been a while since I've had to deal with that, and I don't know how well I'm going to do.

This does raise quite a few questions. People noticed something in the background of Entry #59, and the picture proves it.
Jay shouldn't have discredited that redacted file, a close look shows Tim went through surgery. -
I still love this series. It's just that it works much better marathoned than it does like this, and there really hasn't been much to discuss till now as they had been taking all the game parts out of the series, so discussion kinda got limited to "that was creepy."
I'm a little confused though, as I had thought the info would have told Jay what to do next. Instead it gave him only a tiny bit of information.
I bet Tim's still following this and will contact Jay. That or his alter ego will.

That file had to be prepared by Hoodie, I can't think of anyone else. Not to mention the three lines on the back of the file looked suspiciously like Hoodie's eyes and mouth. Which brings the question, who do you all think Hoodie is and is he Jay's protector?

I think Hoody has to be Bryan. And I wouldn;t go so far as to call him a protector. He's definitely using Jay to get to the Ark, whatever that may be.
For some reason, Hoody…and Masky...can't take action on their own. Maybe they want to avoid run ins with the Operator, or maybe it's something else, but they definitely seem to know all of the Who What When Where and Why, they're just lacking in the How and that's what they're trying to learn by using Jay.
They'll protect him, until he's useless.

Yeah, Brian seems to be the the most likely person…A friend of mine has it in her head that Hoody could be Jessica...but there is no basis that I can see to agree with that.
So is it safe to assume that Hoody and Tim have been working together as totheark? Or do you think that Hoody is the sole owner of the account?
With the current goings on, I am less inclined to believe that Tim has anything to do with totheark anymore and seems to just be going insane...

There's definitely more than one person behind totheark. The most common theory is that it's the original cast of Marble Hornets (Tim, Brian, Sarah and Seth).
I read an interesting theory that Sarah is the one in charge.

After some cryptic tweets on Jay's Twitter the last few days, obviously left by totheark, we have a new video. Simply titled "entry".
This raises quite a few questions.
! Do the seizures cause a blackout that cause Tim to enter his Masky state?
What purpose does Hoody have to steal his pills?
Is Hoody totheark? Or at least an important part of it?
His last chance to do what?
And why does Tim keep his window unlocked? He knows crazy stuff is happening to him.
! Obviously Hoody posted this, because comments are enabled (at the time of this post). The binary at the end stands for "thetrees" -
! I always thought of TotheArk was a team up of Masky and Hoody ever since that one video of them attacking Alex…Apparently, Tim was getting better and left the team, leaving Hoody by him/herself. With Jay poking around and setting off Tim's seizures, Hoody is most likely trying to get his/her partner back and get Jay back on track as to where they need him to go.

Well that was abrupt. Hopefully Jay gives us an in-game explanation for the long disappearance (I know real-life got in the way, Joseph and Tim got into a car accident and their car was totaled. They're okay but they're without wheels).

My friends talk about Marble Hornets all the time so I figured I could get a slice of that pie. I'm up to Entry #16 and I'm following the suggested order. Pretty creepy stuff, and I like how it's not like typical horror movies where dramatic music builds up, then silence for 2 seconds, and then BOOM scary monster/someone gets stabbed. Although Slendy does appear out of nowhere sometimes, but it's great since there's not really a build up to it. Plus it's got more of a supernatural kind of horror to it, and I'm a fan of that.
But I'm not a fan of Totheark videos. So far they're pretty boring and seem like they're bizarre just for the sake of being bizarre (although I guess they do explain that a bit), and I don't really want to go through with trying to piece everything together or look at every tiny detail. That or I'm just tired at the moment and don't want to do much work.
I don't want to take my nap anymore after watching some of these entries :(

Whoops, forgot to mention that I do read the hidden meanings that people decipher. I read the ones provided on site BatDan posted, so I guess part of the reason I dread them is because I don't participate in the fun of them. I'm thinking of skipping them and then going back to them once I finish all the entries.

Totheark is really kind of important to get the full story sometimes…but I actually did the same thing with the first season, then went back and watched the Totheark vids.
As soon as you catch up, usually these vids hold clues for where Jay needs to go/do next, so sometimes they are needed

Well, I'm caught up. Gotta say, really enjoying this. Sad I ran out.
It's overall enjoyable, tho it does fall prey to the usual problems "Found Footage" films tend to. Chief among them being "Why the hell is this guy still filming while shit is going down?" Seriously, I can count 5 scenarios just off the top of my head where whoever happened to be the cameraman at that point could easily have died, yet he just keeps filming. The worst among them being Entry #60 where…
! Slendy is literally closer to him than I've ever seen him be ever, and Jay has to actually put the camera down two or three times to get around obstacles while he's running, but he SOMEHOW remembers to take the extra few seconds to pick it back up even though those few seconds could be what gets him killed.
There's also a few other minor odd moments where things seem to happen for no other reason that that the plot calls for it. Like, when Jay went into the Abandoned house where he first met Masky. Why did he go in there at night the first 2 times? Why did he go in there at night the second time after seeing where he was going was a problem the first time?
But stuff like that is par for the course in Found footage films, so I don't let it bother me, just stuff I noticed. So don't think this is me putting it down, I actually really love it and am looking forward to more. How often does it come out? The dates on the entries would suggest 2-3 Videos a month is the norm.
