@Raithos:
No no I actually fully agree with you. I'd like something more than just a faint smile on the girls. Show some teeth, show some emotion, some sort of expression!
And they need a completely new guy to attack Luffy, ATTM is getting redundant
Yeah I know you agree. ^^ Just had to comment more. Since his alternate faces (I think just Boa and Perona) only have very small changes, I wonder if Ajiken just doesn't feel confident making more emotional, or less feminine expressions.
Omg you mean this?
I'd LOVE it if the Neo had come with that as an alt head, or even her now doing that.
I guess so, hehe. Post time skip I don't remember her making that face exactly but I don't see why they couldn't incorporate it, she still has that attitude. Other figures have her winking or sticking her tongue out at least.
@KyonSmith:
@Jejune: It's the same sculptor, Ajiken, and he makes very beautiful female sculpts like Shirahoshi or Boa Hancock POP.
PS: I love vanilla.
They are totally beautiful! And Perona is my favourite POP, but already you can tell her SA version will pretty much have the same expression. If you love the vanilla, power to you, I just think it's boring and shows Ajiken doesn't care much about the personality of the characters. IMO.
I also note (sorry to those who are sick of me bringing it up) that it's the same guy cracking seams in Robin's clothes, giving mermaids buttcracks, and changing Perona's full length tights into thigh-highs so you can see her pantsu. Actually, it'd be interesting to know if it's entirely his doing or if Megahouse is suggesting sexing up the figures. Dun dun dun.
