Depends on when you think it lost it. It's still far more entertaining than Bleach though.
-
I don't even know how to scout the power level in this one
-
Update from the writer of Noblesse. The hiatus is going to be extended. The illustrator has been sufferng from a panic disorder which has recently been getting worse and more frequent.
-
After a hiatus for the ages, Noblesse is finally back and disappointingly the powerups appear to be superficial.
-
Dropped this for a while, have the kids gotten superpowers yet or is it still a rooftop pewpew manwha
-
To me the kids are boring even with superpowers. But it's nice to see the authors came back after the bad times.

So, they do have superpowers, but they are (or the manwha in general is) still boring, is what you're saying.

Kind of. Actually the last chapter focuses on their new powers.
-
Wow, now it gets interesting because… who will save the saviour's ass? Damn!
-
The blood vortex is always good to see. Muzaka should be able to school his hoobae.

Well he won't need saving. We all know that Rai will back-off and leave it at that just in time for Frankenstein to arrive and get pissed.

Rather Musaka will argue: "I'm the one making justice here…" and will smash the traitor werewolves. Becase is Musaka were serious against Rai, in his current condition Rai would be no match to him. They are on par in his normal condition.

Isn't Musaka currently in a weakened state also. With the headaches and all.
-
The headaches are sure troublesome for him (Maybe Cromwell will control him somehow in the future, since we still don't know what the elders made to him during all these years). But they are unpredictable. On the other hand Rai's weakness is permanent right now. Also, Rai entered his hibernation period due to his fight against Musaka. I feel if they were at their top level, they would be equal in power. But, to me, right now he seems to be much more weak than Musaka.
-
The two lords are quite a match!
-
Finally, it's nice to see a good chapter from Noblesse. Although I wish the RKs were strong enough to fight off enemies themselves (what's the point of their existence if they can never beat anyone?), Muzaka killing them works too.
Rai's life force was replenished by the former Lord's Ragnarok, so he's strong enough that he'd be willing to fight Muzaka without worry of dropping dead right then and there. Keep in mind that the Ragnarok is the strongest Soul Weapon in existence and holds the souls of all the previous Lords – who are the second strongest Nobles in history (since Rai is the strongest) -- so even a portion of that (I believe only the previous Lord's lifeforce went to Rai, with the rest of Lords' lifeforce going into Lascrea's Ragnarok) would provide a substantial amount of life force for Rai; The previous Lord said he didn't know how much time Rai has left now (e.g. 1 - 10 years), but it seems to be enough that Rai will be able to fight freely for the time being.

Ah yes. I didn't remember that part. Anyway, I have the impression that if Rai's condition wouldn't be something to worry about, it wouldn't be a single a comment about it in the chapter; but one of the three dolls commented it.
The last panel is good, ins't it? Horns made of eyebrows hair… mm... odd...

You hit the nail on the head with that one. That's the issue with Rai's Knights, no matter how much stronger they get, the ultimately still seem to be weaker than EVERYONE that's thrown at them. It even undermines the work that Franky has done on their bodies and I'm sorry but it's time for M-21 to start delivering. Unless he's about to get a personal training session with Muzaka, then it's really quite fail. He should be considerably stronger than the rest of Rai's Knights by now. He should be one step below Frankenstein and able to fight on par with most werewolves, especially those that get one-shotted by a guy that's just woken up from a five century nap, is being dosed up a mad scientist and is suffering headaches.
-
There's simply no point on wishing RK's were strong enough to fight enemies themselves. (It's like wishing Franky or Sanji would have his own arc in OP, not for developing the character but simply for defeating a major rival). That simply won't happen.
To me, the purpose of most of the characters among the RK is just to look good. That's even much more clear with the three dolls:
!
What's the point of these 3 characters? Up to now, the authors only pay attention to their aestetichs; the visual design of them are quite different in the hair, but the body is pretty standard, but they use the same uniform and we have seen them many times in a coordinate walk in the halls of the school, as if they were models in a runaway (that's why I call them the dolls). That and the fact that all of them got some troubles and are always saved by Rai in the last moment… that's all about them. (But I wouldn't put Frankie on this category).
To me, the interesting plot of Noblesse concentrates in Rai + Frankie vs Cronwell vs the other elders.

I don't know, with M-21 you kinda feel like he's destined for big things. In fact you kinda feel like he's on par to become the next lord of the warewolves and then shit like this happens.

M-21 will probably play a key role in what's to come – but for a different reason. We know Maduk and the Union were behind what appears to be Muzaka's daughter's death (which the Nobles and Werewolves used to remove the two strongest beings on the planet from play so they could rule the world as they saw fit). If Union elders were able to keep Muzaka's body, then there's a chance that the heart they transplanted into M-21 was Muzaka's daughter's as well. The caveat of this theory, though, is that Rai would perhaps been able to tell that M-21 had her heart since he governs blood and can tell stuff like that.

wow, that would be something for sure!

I've been thinking it's her heart too. And to be fair to Rai, he doesn't ever really talk let alone say really important things. But he did say that M-21 was really strong, perhaps because he recognised the heart.
-
Woa! that was a really good chapter, specially at the end. "You are not longer alone"… very good line with amazing panelization. You can feel the loniness of the characters, which is a main premise of the story. The only lonely wolf now is the badass werewolf.
-
At first I didn't recognize him, but that's the old traitor at the end. So it's traitor werewolfes and nobles allied vs (likely) Musaka and Rai and the nobles allied. Well, I'd like to see it.
-
See this coming: the guy who killed Musaka's daughter is related or simply is the first elder.
-
Raw of the this week chapter.
! Raskeria made my heart jump!
-
Raw of 389 out.
! Those traitors use coward strategies, ganging upon a sole rival like a wild horde

Would you? What is it? (Or you meant "you'd rather want to know…")

I meant that as in the Lord will need help from Frankenstein or whoever decides to interrupt, but the Crystal was never mentioned before, it's a new addition to the story and yet it is portrayed as something significantly important. However, if it's so important then why would Rai ever abandon it?
-
Well of course Rai has to stay behind. Frankenstein will kill a few of them and then at the last minute when they are about to die, Rai will show up and one shot them.
-
Here some spoilers of future chapters.
It's nice to see Frankie playing wild.

The OVA:

I saw the first episode is out, is it worth a watch?

I liked it (tho i don´t know much about anime quality). I remember the art of the first chapters was really bad to me, but this episode's art is good. The opening theme and in general the soundtrack are not good, but it's the only detail I didn't like it.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
I had forgotten how annoying was Rai's earring.
-
Haha, I liked it. Like the intro theme a lot. I'm happy for the authors.
-
Evil Frankie is so funny!!!
-
I haven't read Noblesse in what seems like forever. So I was super surprised to see an OVA on Crunchyroll. The animation is really slick. The opening and ending theme is meh.
Is there any word on how many episodes they are doing?
-
Here you can see the ova about Raizel vs Muzaka, with some english subtitles.
