And his ex-niece.

Take note that Hera, Zeus's wife, is actually his sister.

I take it Zeus' Japanese name would be Itou Makoto?
The Greek Gods were sex addicts. Not all of them, but enough to earn them that sort of reputation.

Nah, only Zeus was the full on sex addict. Everyone else either took it as it came or were Artemis, Athena, and Hestia.
Greeks sure knew hot to have fun.
Wait until they put Priapus in these movies. Then you'll see how imaginative the ancients got.
Zeus would seriously go down to human world and just fuck any chick that walked past him. How do you think Perseus was born?
Christ, Zeus.

And Ganymedes, BItheway
So, I just found out they've BEEN making a sequel to this; Wrath of the Titans. It's actually coming out in March. Not only that, but script writing for a third one has started.
What.
I didn't see the last one and I'm not going to see future ones. They can keep making them for all I care. They'll eventually get to a point where nobody wants to see bastardizations of Greek mythology (or they run out of words that rhyme with Clash). Also, Hades is the villain for Wrath of the Titans which makes me want to punch the writer.

No.. No…

NOOOO. I'm so sick of hollywood doing this and filling the ignorant masses with the wrong notion that Hades is a traitorous shit. He's not.
And you're so lucky you didn't see the first one, it was dreadful.
Also the ending was troll central:
Zeus: "Here's a gift so you don't have to travel alone." brings back ophelia (or whatever he name was)
uh.. why not bring back his family? Ya know, the reason he wanted revenge in the first place? You brought him back a woman he only knew for 5 days?
I literally slapped my forehead at that scene.
Do they really think this movie's going to make as much money as the first one? Everyone going to saw the first one saw how bad the first one was.
What was that one Greek myth where the queen of Crete(I think) totally wanted to be banged by a bull(courtesy of a spell by Poseidon) and asked this great blacksmith dude(one who was involved in those artificial wings business) to make an authentic cow statue thing in which she was covertly inserted, thus got screwed by the said bull and gave birth to Minotaur?
Oh,and I totally remember that one where Zeus and Hera were arguing whether men or women had better orgasms and called upon some wise all-knowing dude, who said chicks had greater orgasms and Zeus punished him by making him by making him blind or something.
Anyway,I wonder if other Harryhausen stuff will be remade. Can we expect a remake of Jason And The Argonauts and maybe even the Sinbad trilogy?
Also,this movie was kinda dull.
I'm not sure what you're after, there's not really a name for the myth. The first one is exactly what you described, King Minos' wife wants to have sex with a bull that Poseidon (I think) gives Minos and when she does, using that metal cow suit, gives birth to the Minotaur, which leads to the whole Theseus slaying it thing.
Second one is the Tiresius. Hera and Zeus were arguing about whether or not women or men got more pleasure from sex. Tiresius was earlier turned into a woman by Hera for killing some snakes, but was changed back, so he knew both sides. Hera argued the men did while Zeus said women did. Tiresius agreed with Zeus and Hera got mad and made him blind. Zeus felt sorry for him and gave him the ability to see the future and to live longer.
Thanks for refreshing my memory,I had gotten the one with Tireseus wrong.Yet I wonder why Zeus didn't just restore his sight.
Zeus was such a douchebag,a big horny douchebag.I think the most benevolent rendition of Zeus is in Shin Mazinger Z,but I guess that's because that Zeus is really this giant golden semi-mecha dude who has extremely little to do with Greek mythology. The one from the Disney Hercules cartoon was a pretty nice guy as well.
I hope that Wrath of the Titans is atleast more fun than the previous movie. For a dumb action movie, this thing really failed to release my Kraken…and God do I hope that possible remakes of other Harryhausen movies will not be this unappealing.
Well Hera's an evil bitch so if Zeus did restore his sight I'm sure Hera would have been pissed and Zeus doesn't want that lol. I mean she had Hercules kill his family (not to mention cause the entire Amazon civilization to attack him) because he was the product of Zeus' infidelity.
You got a point.Maybe his Olympian libido isn't the only reason why he cheated on his wife so often…

I find some irony in this because he created her from a headache if I'm not mistaken.
I think that was Athena.
hera and zeus are siblings, both were born from chronos

Yes, Athena was the one that Zeus bore from his head.
