slowly yet steadily Oumagadoki is climbing that latter.

Special: Sket Dance x Gintama Collaboration (CP)
Holy shit.
This has the potentional to be godly.
Nice to see Managaka and old assistant doing a collaboration.
-
is beelzebub gonna be okay??? it's ranked low a few times hasn't it?
-
Beel in the bottom 5? I blame the shitty anime filler.

It's 7th, though not sure at what chapter Magico is, so mabye 6th.
Also, Ouma stil survives, I hope.

Damn! looks like Nura is doing bad.
-
Why are they still keeping Kuroko??
anyways
Good news for OD. XD
-
Nurarihyon has completely lost my interest. I would not mind its cancellation one bit. Hokenshitsu is almost certainly dead, if only because they need to make room for the new series. And, sadly, it would seem to me like Oumagadoki is next on the chopping block… :(
-
Dois Sol
Meruhen Ouji GrimmAre these new series?
-
Nice to see Beel bounce back after a bad week. And here's hoping that the launch of the anime will put Toriko into a permanent spot in the top 5.
Dois Sol
Meruhen Ouji GrimmAre these new series?
Yes. Dois Sol is a sports manga and Meruhen is a gag manga.
-
Glad to see Reborn is going back up; when it surpasses Bleach I'll be happy.
Well, I'll be happy just to see Bleach continue to go down :P
-
Glad to see Reborn is going back up; when it surpasses Bleach I'll be happy.
Holy shit your manga tastes are atrocious… you love BOTH Fairy tail and KHR? You are mentally wrecked and should check your medication immediatly…
-
Eh, I don't really like Reborn, but I don't want it cancelled. I hate series that have inconclusive endings, so even if it's bad closure I still want it. Same applies to Naruto; I hate the series but I wouldn't want it to just be canceled without seeing how everything ends.
And I'll look into that. But maybe while I'm having my medication checked, you can do something about that stick in your ass?
-
It seems Engima is slowly falling. Hopefully it starts to pick back up soon, it's been way to long since I've seen a manga I actually like, quite like it.
-
Nura being in the bottom kinda scares me because I've been slowly reaching it to read weekly, slowly because I hate the pacing sometimes and a some of things there annoy me a bit but I still have fun. Could someone that's weekly reading tell me the actual scneario of the manga now is worth reading?
Glad to see Bakuman and Beelzebub doing well, I don't agree with Enigma's position but as long as it isn't in the bottom I'm quite fine, it's still a new series anyway.
Bleach, keep, going, down.
Argh. I can't look at the new protagonist of this new Yu-Gi-Oh! series, seriously, it's the worst. Yuusei was so much better. -
Doesn't OD sell pretty damn good when it comes to manga sales?
-

.Not really. Then end of the Kyoto arc was bullshit, and now they're dicking around with some new group of youkai, none of which look remotely cool so far.
-

Yup. And popularity in the rankings is secondary as long as the sales stay good or even far better.
-

woah woah woah. The Kyoto arc's end may have been bullshit, but the last few chapters have been pretty interesting, I've really been enjoying these latest chapters, going back to the series' roots of being a Youkai series and not a battle series about Youkai.

So true. Even more now…
! We are being introduced to Kurotabou's story and the first official appearance of Sanmoto Gorozaemon.
Though I still can't see what was so bad about the Kyoto arc's end.
-

am I the only one who doesn't give a shit about the previous heads? Because I really don't. Also, I'm still pissed that that big skeleton guy didn't fight anyone, because he looked legit.
but I AM honestly surprised it's been doing so badly, because it certainly isn't horrible, and the anime is still going on iirc.
-
Big skeleton guy ?
-
@No:
Big skeleton guy ?
That guy that Hagoromo Gitsune rescued from the very first seal she broke… he had big eyeballs that rolled around in his head...

^^^^this guy. idk, I wanted to see him fight someone…

Just watched the Sket Dance anime first episode.
It was great, funny and awesome.
Switch computer (and phone) voice is the best, he is the best "Shake-Shake"

I'm kinda disappointed that Switch doesn't sound like Stephen Hawking :(

How is Beelzebub at the bottom? o3o

The order doesn't matter, don't take it as if it was something bad. The person who made the list put Beelzebub last because of convenience, that's all.

Beelzebub (1~9) = 3,100,000It saddens me that Bleach is beating out Hunter x Hunter, if HxH came out with new chapters more frequently I'm sure (or at least I hope) it would beat out Bleach.
It fills my heart with joy that One Piece has higher sales than Naruto and Bleach combined.
And as for Toriko, climb the ladder Shimabukurou, keep up the good work and soon enough you'll beat Reborn and hopefully Bleach. I've only read like 5 chapters of Beelzebub but I hope it starts getting higher volume sales too because it did seem pretty damn funny and Oga was a badass. -

One volume HXH: 185481,48
One volume Bleach: 1416666,67 -
But how often does that one volume come out ?
-
Hmm, let's try finding how much exactly each volume sells on average for each series. Below the spoilers are the calculations:
! Kochira something: 840236.686 = 8.402 x 10^5
OP: 3,606,557.377 = 3.607 x 10^6
HxH: 1,854,814.814 = 1.854 x 10^6
Naruto: 1,968,627.451 = 1.969 x 10^6
Bleach: 1,416,666.67 = 1.417 x 10^6
Gintama: 891,891.89 = 8.919 x 10^5
Reborn!: 807,692.308 = 8.077 x 10^5
Sket Dance: 312500 = 3.125 x 10^5 (finally, a whole number)
Nurarihyon no Mago: 528571.429 = 5.286 x 10^5
Toriko: 423,076.923 = 4.231 x 10^5
Bakuman: 700,000 = 7 x 10^5
Inumaru Dash : 100,000 = 1 x 10^5
Kuroko no Basket: 318,181.818 = 3.182 x 10^5
Beelzebub: 3,444,444.444 = 3.444 x 10^5
(The manga about the devil baby from hell has the number 4 all over it…)
Okay, let's rank this properly (times x100,000 volume):36.07 (One Piece)
19.69 (Naruto)
18.54 (Hunter x Hunter)
14.17 (Bleach)
08.92 (Gintama)
08.40 (Kochira)
08.78 (Reborn!)
07.00 (Bakuman)
05.29 (Nurarihyon no Mago)
04.23 (Toriko)
03.44 (Beelzebub)
03.18 (Kuroko no Basket)
03.13 (Sket Dance)
01.00 (Inumaru Dash)Hmm, it seems that even on average, a manga with more volume out usually sells more than those with less volume out…which makes sense I guess. Oh, and I'm too lazy to double check it again, please go ahead and correct me if you find any mistakes.
-
Anyone has the sales for Enigma and Omagadoki Zoo?
-
It seems is the end for Oumaga TT___TT
This shuold be the ToC of next Jump issue:
ToC Jump #19
Beelzebub 104 (Lead CP)
One Piece 621
Bakuman 128
Naruto 535 (Cover)
Magico 07
Bleach 444
Toriko 137
Sengoku Armors 06
Kuroko no Basket 112
Inumarudashii 130
Enigma 29
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! 333
Gintama 350
Sket Dance 182
KochiKame 1693
Dois Sol 09
Meruhen Ouji Grimm 08
Medaka Box 94
Hokenshitsu no Shinigami 78
Nurarihyon no Mago 150
Oumagadoki Doubutsuen 37 (end) -
Dois Sol and Grimm are down low. They may not be technically ranked yet, but I knew at least 2 of the new bunch were gonna die quickly.
Dois Sol is dumb, so whatever, and I haven't seen any of Grimm, but the spread I saw looked vaguely Sket-dance-ish, and we don't need ANOTHER gintama.
-
Goddamn it, not Oumagadoki!
-
Actually, they are ranked. First real rankings occur at chapter 8
-
Fuck not Oumagadoki. With all of these new series Oumaga was the most creative. I'm sorry but that even goes for enigma.
-

I totally agree with you.
-
So in what plot not contriving way are they going to end the series ?
And if it's another of those "maybe someday !" then bullshit, seeing it happen is what the readers read your damn series for you stupid fucks !
Oh btw Jump, you have TWELVE series over 100 chapters long. So once you wind up with a bunch of new series that will have no following whatsoever, blame no one but your fucking selves.
I mean seriously, are there any series from 2009/2010 stil running ?
-
I'm baffled at the fact that Sengoku Armors still hasn't been picked up. Seems to be doing well in the rankings and the one shot was decent, so why the hell hasn't any team picked it up? :getlost:
-
@No:

Beelzebub .

Toriko first came out in 2008, so did Bakuman. Only Beelzebub came out in 2009 :P

I realised this soon after and ran to edit, you weren't caught out though.
Good work, you pass.
