We did see a faceless figure. That's right. We established that several pages back. Read the whole thread for a better idea. Who are you to say who is right and wrong ^o^ No one can say that accept the author and if someone declares Kuina is alive they're wrong based on his statement.
But there's nothing wrong about making an argument for her status dead or alive. She currently considered dead. That's a fact. That doesn't mean it couldn't change in a twist. And I'm not talking about zombie stuff so don't go there.
People act as if they know the outcome of the story and it's really frustrating XD
I have read the whole thread, and so far no one's given any evidence that would convince me that she's alive. Like you said, the author's the one who decides one way or the other, and Oda drew her dead body–so she's dead. He didn't show Kuina's face for the same reason he didn't show Bellmell's dead body with a big hole through her face, or bits of Dr. Hirluk scattered around. It's like when you put a white sheet over a body, to let the dead person have some dignity. It in no way indicates that Kuina's gonna show up later.
Oda's never given any indication that Kuina was anything other than dead as a doornail, and that's good enough for me. I mean if you want to wildly speculate, feel free, but I can't take an argument that Kuina is still alive seriously. I'm not trying to be frustrating, I'm trying to be ... well realistic and logical are the wrong words to use when talking about a work of fiction, but within the boundaries of Oda's crazy universe, that's what I'm trying to be. I just don't think the idea that Kuina is alive has any merit or evidenciary support, and I have the right to argue that just as you have the right to argue against it. Still gives me a headache, though. Oi.

Well Igaram isn´t really much of a disappointment after all. Remember he was supposed to be killed by Miss All-Sunday, the lady that cheated Crocodile and became a member of the Strawhats later on. She could have easily spared his life and just created a big explosion so that the Unluckies had something positive to report to the boss.
This is true, but he did stay "dead" longer than Pell. Through almost three storyarcs, in fact. His survival is more logical than Pell's, but I still consider his death and subsequent return a big fakeout on Oda's part.
