Caribou joining is the worst idea ever. It would be a terrible idea. His character design is ugly and I would hate having to look at him next to the other Straw Hats for the next 600 - 700+ chapters.
He's also despicable and not at all Straw Hat like. The idea of him joining Luffy is completely repulsive.
Regardless of how Franky was introduced, NONE of the Straw Hats ever murdered a marine in cold blood or kidnapped mermaids to sell them to arrogant world Nobles with a God complex who would keep them in chains and rape / murder them later.

I can so see where this is going with Shirahoshi. She'll be a total crybaby only when her fear/crymeter reaches a certain level she goes on a rampage and destroys everything in the vicinity. That's why she was imrisoned after she got upset. She's so dangerous they have to keep her locked up until she gets out of it.

Chap seemed incomplete the way it ended. Wanted a bit more dialogue with Luffy and the princess. Initial impressions depicts her as high strung and maybe whiny/baby. She reminded me of Chopper a lil bit.
Okay chap. Don't care for Caribou but I figure he'll fit in the grand schemes of the arc someway.

So Oda is out of Ideas and has to recycle ways for new crewmates to join? Caribou is there for added pressure and to show how the SH's will fight a Logia user. Of this I am exceedingly certain, so the SH's end up being in the centre again - Caribou running around doing things that get attributed to the SH's - Neptunes army chasing SH's for all the seemingly right but wrong reasons, and Jones' crew.
The story could go a few ways from here I'm no expert but I think for certain the Princess will be captured and it's up to Luffy to go through trails and battles only to find out the Princess is in another castle …. no wait >.<

If you don't see the difference between stealing 2 brieffcases of money from pirates to build a SUPER (we need a blue star icon) Ship and kidnaping inocent mermaids in order to sell them to slavery to have money then you got a problem.
This arc is shaping up great, as Alabasta, Skypea and Water 7 with the many different factions at play. Flying dutchman pirates, the new fishman pirates, the sun pirates (or it is jimbe alone?), the royal guards and army, big m
oam and Coribou who has revealed that logias can get weird properties with their powers (Beyond Blackbeard's exception).The strawhats are in for a wild ride, and so do we!

Anybody else find it weird that Oda making Luffy's scar thinner and thinner? It looked appropriate to a blast in the original colour spread, but now it looks like scars from cuts. He must have changed his mind, but I think it looked better before.
Similar to that, the crown of Luffy's hat has been drawn really huge sometimes recently. Again, so much so that it's like Oda's changing it's style. Looks ridiculous.

She hasn't reached critical level on her cry/fearmeter yet. Her berserk mode only happens when her anxiety reaches a certain threshold. Come on it's right there between the lines. Think about it. The ministers say how it caused a lot of trouble when there wasn't anyone to comfort her and then she ends up in a luxurious prison cell behind a massive gate with all those weapons jutting from the gate and the wall. Do the math.

One has to wonder if there are any other major underwater fishman/mermaid settlements aside from FI.
Neptune states in this chapter FI is the only place where sun shines underwater.
Also I agree with those saying the type of Mer/Fishman you are is random, parents denote whether you are Fishman or Merman, then after that it's random as hell. They could ALL have epic amounts of recessive genes, but I dont think it matters what the parents are (species wise) or they'd all be half shark half squid or whatever.
That's like there being 50,000 different races of human but there's not, there's a few main ones like Caucasian, Asia, African and then there's like a few minorities. Massive apologies for how racist that sounds, it's not intended that way at all haha :getlost:
