You fool. You damned fool.
@Muah:
Im about to prove you wrong in ever way. How is being free in one Piece illegal? You are telling me that makino isn't free?
Yes, actually. Makino isn't free. The only reason she isn't labeled a pirate or a rebel or such is because she obediently follows the rules of her kingdom. A kingdom, that, I might add, is horribly oppressive and burns the poor people. Luffy was a criminal the moment he merely expressed his independence from the World Government, a serious offense in the One Piece world.
Luffy does like material objects. He wanted a big fucking statue of himself made of gold and likes treasure like any other pirate.
He wanted a statue because he thinks one would look cool, not because of any material value. He would much rather explore a cave or run through a jungle than, say, steal a merchant ship, no matter how rich it might make him.
He does steal from innocent people and has murdered.
WHEN?
There are no drugs in one piece other than sake and he does drink.
We have only seen him drinking during celebrations and such, when it is customary to drink. It's not like he's an alcoholic or anything, far from it, actually.
He does not brag about violence but is a very big contributor to violence in one piece. Luffy is not as innocent as you think he is. No one is innocent after war and Luffy's been through three of them. Tell me if he's so innocent than why did he beat the dog shit out of hanyabal. This is not innocence.
Luffy: The grizzled warrior.
No. He never fights out of revenge, nor does he ever use excessive brutality. The only times we've seen him seriously fight were either due to necessity, or to protect his friends. Hannyabal was in the way of saving Ace, I didn't really see more to it than that. You can be innocent and violent at the same time.
Also I think that you really think inanimate objects have feelings. Which make me think you have trouble understanding whats going on in the manga. Luffy already showed to be attracted to women in alabasta. It's not innocence, even a 7 year old would pitch a boner over Boa Hancock. Oda writing him self into a corner said that Luffy just wasn't interested in Boa that way.
Seriously? Hancocks powers only turn her targets to stone if they are aroused by her. Her powers have worked on such things as cannonballs, Den-Den Mushi, and soulless robots. Luffy, on the other hand, felt absolutely nothing for her sexually, and instead only thinks of her as a friend. Alabasta was a different case, as Oda has explicitly said that he acted aroused because Usopp was influencing him.
At this point, you're seriously trying too hard to make Luffy seem thug. This is not a good idea, and frankly, if you really need something to connect to rap, try a different series, there are lots that would suit your taste much better. But keep your weird, twisted interpretations away from One Piece.
EDIT: On a less crazy note, Zephos, I do not make AMV's, but do you mind if I answer the question anyways?
