Yarrrrr, it doesn't matter, we can't target repeated persons, so if someone says they have a great ability, they'l be killed the next night, and we definitely ain't checking every ability to see which ones are the better
Just Town Vote the users themselves, not the related abilities
The only case where that would be useful is if this night was the perfect night to use a certain ability, and if it didn't matter if the user was killed the next night although I don't believe there will ever be such a case in this game

also, about the Town Vote, I had a funny thought that if we had two useful abilities that were the same, like SUDK's and mine last game, we could alternate between these two people. but I guess that's not very likely to happen with this weird setup. :/

I think that most abilities are dependent on the character. So if we know the character we'll have a good idea at what their ability is. So, I don't think that's a good idea.

We could, A: Randomly Town Vote someone, B: Town Vote someone who says they have a good ability, or C: Town Vote someone who has experience in past games of Mafia.

I think the town vote is tricky. It'd be a waste not to use it, and since we're not revealing abilities we'll probably TV based on the user, like SGR said. but that user, any user really, could be a mafia or third party, and then we'd just be wasting the TV.

Sky, I don't quite get your question. to me, this set-up is just weird and full of uncertainty, so I'm not going to assume anything. and I'm probably not going to give away anything about my ability until Day 2, and I think most people should do the same.

As for the people, I think everyone here is awesome.
