@Bobjr:
Well if anyone has played it could they care to explain what's improved from Fallout 3?
The engine's essentially the same, so any graphic tweaks are minor if at all.
There's some really fucking cool guns and weapons. I believe Big Guns and Small Guns are lumped into one skill group now, which is cool. There's a new survivalist skill, new monsters, etc.
Fundamentally it's not that different, but it's still a great game. It's Fallout 3 in Las Vegas. Would I call it a spinoff? Yes. But it's a spinoff that you can log 100+ hours into, so who really gives a shit.
Great game so far and I've come across very few bugs.
If you're a huge Fallout fan like me (Fallout 3's my favorite game of all time), you'll love this game to tears. I'm taking it nice and slow so I'll still be playing this in January. Exploring a lot, taking your time and admiring the landscape really emphasizes the ambience of the series as a whole. Personally, I think it's a must-buy.
My XBox live subscription ran out last June and I'm too lazy to renew it. In addition, the way I got wifi through my laptop for Live is fucked up too, so if I want to get that patch/DLC I gotta do some work.
