Even if Otacute charges me outrageous shipping it'll still probably cost me less money than toy_cardseller. So tempted to ask toy_cardseller to cancel my pre-order. Is it okay if I use the excuse that he still hasn't gotten back to me about my address changing and moving issue even though I messaged him twice two weeks ago? lol.

Just get the Otacute order and worry about that later. eBay will side with you since he's breaking the rules by offering pre-orders.
I just pre-ordered a third. Rare openings like this at the original price after we've determined the post-release value come once in a blue moon.

I just looked at the listing and indeed, he was violating the pre-order rules because he listed it on July 22nd when he's telling me he won't be able to get it till the "beginning of September". Is there a rule against not being able to list a specific date, too? Technically if he is able to ship it out before September 12 it will be 30 days ish for me, but the fact is he shouldn't have had the listing up in the first place? Plus he didn't respond for so long and never listed that he would be getting it at the beginning of september on the listing itself, only said so through emails. It's good that my intuition on the Super DX Ace was correct despite all I heard from vendors and sellers….there are literally thousands of them right now on Yahoo Auctions and priced at 4000 yen...I Grabbed one already because I'm impatient of course heh but I will be grabbing another that I reserved from my China vendors (they'll get it 2 weeks later from a container)...that's a really good price on Otacute, but like we saw initially, I think these things weren't that much to begin with and price will come down soon enough imo.

Anyways, surprisingly! toy_cardseller is actually agreeing to cancel the transaction on his side so he can get a listing fee credit, because among my messages to him I wrote that I didn't get a response for two weeks, he listed the listing on July 22nd even though he won't get it until September, and he never listed on the listing specifically that he would get it in September. I'm hoping this all works out, but he sure said some interestingly weird stuff. Like "we have marked you on buyer list and are getting shipment from japan per buyer, too late". Then I kindly reminded them that Super DX Ace boxes are one per supplier and that he listed another Super DX Ace after mine ended, so clearly he already planned to get more LOL.I just hope Otacute doesn't end up not having any. How's their track record for pre-orders?

@rona I've never heard anything bad about Otacute. They have that system in place with almost no cancelations unless the admin feels like letting you cancel, so they can guarantee you'll get your item. I'm pretty sure they only open pre-orders for exactly as many as they actually have.

MBH figures are usually called アニメヒーローズ, so just type in however you spell Naruto in Japanese + アニメヒーローズ and stuff should pop up. c;

Shipping isn't just determined by fragility. It's also by weight. So if your Chopper weighs more than another figure at similar size, it'll cost more due to weight. Not every country has a flat rate box.

I will throw righteous tantrum if they charge me over 30 bucks for shipping even though it'll be cheaper than toy_cardseller .-.

Oh, right lol, I completely forgot I ordered my box of Chrono Trigger figures from them a week ago.
The charge for that was 15$ for SAL Registered and I'm pretty sure the box is bigger than Ace's and weight is 0.86kg, and this is to Western Canada. -

If the cheapest shipping option they have is over $20, consider my Ace canceled. I don't care if they ban me. >_> I mean I already spend $100 on live rock this month, so there's no way I'm going to pay more or an equal amount on shipping than what I paid for the figure, lol.

Anyways, I love the mugiwara window. I should do something like that and shield the window closest to my figurines, I have drapes but they're pretty transparent and the sunlight comes in way too close to my figures for my comfort.
