Well thanks to a rule from Buuhan (which pretty much no one agrees with) one person can only play up to three characters and only one of those three can be a main character. Are two auditions for Usopp are from G-Force (Sanji) and Marcman2020 (Zoro maybe). So I guess you could say Marcman2020 could still be Usopp if bradredfield turns out to do Zoro better than him.
id so much rather have marcman play zoro then usopp (no offense to you and brad)

Well you don't even need zoro yet if you're gonna focus on ep 1 first. And Usopp is episode 9 which is quite far away still. Btw you'll also need a bunch of voices that were not on that list.. some marines, some alvida crew people, some people from the cruise ship etc
Another thing.. I take it you guys are gonna be all speaking in your lines seperately and then paste them together.. this might make everything sound really 'out of sync' since there's no synergy as you can't hear the others. Atleast I think it's hard to make something sound like conversation if everyone just does their lines seperately. But this can't be helped I guess, but you should keep it in mind. Also, I hope you have some nice software to glue everything together smoothly and straighten out the differences which you are bound to get from lots of different people speaking in differents microphones at different volumes.

Guys..I made that rule cause GForce IMed me and said theres no way he can voice all these people its far to much work and everyone was expecting him too.
And also man don't you know for all animated productions each person records there voice for lines by themself? No ones ever togeather.

Okay so then does that rule have to apply to everyone. I think if someone us willing to do more than three roles they should go ahead.
Alright so here are the voices we originally thought G-Force was doing. Let's narrow them down to three good ones.Sanji: keep (this one was perfect and it seems we'll never recieve another one)
Jango (meh it was alright, but I bet we could find someone else)
Kuro (if not for that accent)
Smoker: keep (this one was great)
Kuroobi: kep (defenetly a keeper)
Usopp (could be better)
Mr. 3: keep (the perfection of this one outstounds me)Alright so I've narrowed it down to four voices. Mr. 3 and Kuroobi only come in for a few episodes so maybe we can convince him to do both.

It's 3 characters per arc to my understanding, or at least that's what I think it should be, if it's 3 overall then well we're kinda screwed.
And I haven't heard any of Haruko's stuff yet, but I'm sure she's way better than me anyways. Just tell me what's happening with Nami's role, because I really don't care at the moment. I have other things to handle at the moment, heck I don't even know if I'm going to participate still, it depends how things are going over here. I'd rather not do my child voice because well, I hate my kid's voice

Fine with me bout Nami, just when you come to your decsion do tell. It should be upto the VA on how much they want to handle, you can't force the person to do all the roles you want them to do, especially since they're not getting paid.

Buu, I didn't say you were forcing anybody, that was more of a general statement more than anything, it was more aimed to your "I just don't wanna see anyone overworked" statement. I didn't mean anything by it (when it comes to ill feelings), just trying to help emphasize, and not make YOU feel bad if someone chooses to want to try for a lot of roles.

If someone does decide to take on alot of roles then feels overworked and leaves we'll have a problem, theres nothing more confussing this voice changes XD. But alright its the VA's choice you are right.

Well yeah, we're up the creek without a paddle if someone leaves in the middle of it, but look at the early DBZ, ok DBZ in general was littered with voice changes left and right.
We're just going to have to make sure that they don't feel overworked, like G was starting to feel overwhelmed. Warnings, disclaimers anything to cover our asses :glare:
[EDIT] Buu you're taking a lot of responsibility as well, so hopefully you won't get overworked.

Maybe this exists somewhere, but if it doesn't, could someone post a complete list with all the episode 1 characters? Like:

etc
(in chronological order of appearance)Then fill them in with what you have and get started, that's the best thing to do probably at this point. Even if you're some people short. Make the parts of the first episode that you can already. Once you have something to show for your troubles besides just talk, more people will come to take part in this, trust me.

Actually I was kinda talking to you buuhan =) Send out the scripts of the initial lines (it starts with some marines talking if I recall correctly) to some people you think are fit for the job. Tell them to watch the first episode and try to put the same "feel" into it as there, and have them make 3 samples and send em to you so you can pick the best one and start pasting them together already.
Then you can also get an idea how much work this is gonna be, with also adding in sound effects and all that. And atleast you'll have something to show some work progress

(my god there are so many salior moon projects over at that site lol)
Sailor Moon lost it's license last year. That's why there's been so many SM projects popping up. But, before then it was illegal and a lot of times the producers of the dubs were threatened if they didn't stop.

The one where he's has just escaped the log and now is fending off there swords while telling Luffy about his dream. Hold on I'll get it for you:

Ok brad, I notice you put some serious work into that but I have a few comments
1. Which is the most obvious it looks like you eather skipped over an entire sentance or rearranged it.
2. Your voice doesn't seem to hit right on to Zoro's personality and its good I think im just not used to hearing anything other then the Japanese and English VA out of Zoro's mouth so you probably are a good choice.
3. But just to make sure I think auditions for Zoro should be left opened for now.
But hey guys look! We are actually making progress despite you might not think it, We only need a few more VA's and we can do a episode, people to hesitate to try out for a background or non-important character.
Also Marc your Zoro link is incorrect or you just never uploaded it.

It doesn't work (for me anyway). Also next time could you put it on YouSendIt or Megaupload? About not having the original episode I can send it it to you (with YouSendIt) but do you mind if it's the entire episode?
