what do you mean? i just became a member of this website yesterday and dont know much.

Ah, my bad then.
It's generally frowned upon to make more than one post in a row, two or three is usually the max and only to bump very old topics. If you've got to post a lot of things, ordering a single post with the tags reduces topic clutter.
To edit posts, click the edit button right below the post you want to edit. That'll allow you to add content without having to make a new post.

who or what is tabs?
-
Taboo. She's a big fan of Dreamworks's earlier and less-than-recent films. She really dislikes How to Train Your Dragon and it would remind her of the glory years of her favorite studio.
And if you really want to boost your chances, also send Dude a PM asking what his favorite sequence in the film Across the Universe was.
-
I hear she ADORED Shrek 3.
-
I heard that that she was actually quite disappointed in Shrek III, but Shrek IV really brought the series back up again as the relevant masterwork of children's cinema that it had always been. At least, that's what she said.

Try really hard?
It usually takes a while for someone to become a mod. Except for Urouge, who joined last year.
But, you would usually get promoted to Senior Member before even getting considered for Mod status.

Isn't FMA: Brotherhood on right now? I'm surprised it's not kicking arse.
I never got the "anti-anime mentality" prevalent on mainstream internet destinations. The level of hostility reminds me of anti-conspiracy theory.

Because it's common assumption that all anime is the same (very, very childish and stupid)
People assume this after seeing, say, the Pokemon anime, Yu gi oh, or bakugan. Shows like that. People may think that because some anime is aimed at children (and some anime are changed to be aimed towards children), that all anime is like that. People can be very stereotypical of many things.
Plus there are some people that just don't like things that shout "I'M DIFFERENT!", because it can scare them out of what they consider to be their "comfort zone".

Tv in general is obsolete people.
The only way people watch shows any more is through a cable box recording program or online. Very few watch television when things air these days.
In regards to anime most of the community has adapted to the internet releases. So only die hards or those who are ignorant of the nets watch them on television channels.
Also Adult Swim is showing mostly re-runs of everything. Family guy, Death Note, King of the Hill, Inuyasha, ATHF, ect ect ect. There entire line up is majority of re-runs. Honestly. How do they think to bring in new viewers and hold old ones by not showing fresh programs!
Adult Swim is dead people. Leave it alone and let it die a slow death. Anything they show we already have access to on the nets.

first of all they dont have the rights to death note anymore and second of all they dont pick up more anime becuase anime gets bad ratings nowadays for adult swim. notice how brotherhood and kekkaishi arent in the top 3 most of the time nowadays? theres a example right there.

well most people probly think its the same as the old series after seeing the first few episodes.
-
Home Movies was a good show.
-
If Adult Swim is dead then so is every other block of programming on television. Saying TV is dead cause we have the internet is absurd. There's a helluva lot more people with TV then there is internet. Also throw in the fact a lot of people still watch stuff on TV opposed to downloading/streaming it.

Adult Swim is airing premiers year round. We had five to six premiers a weekend all through july and into august. We're hitting a bit of a slump soon, though, probably to accommodate the Venture Bros. being pushed back to september. Until then, we have to make due with four premiers.
Including anime, AS has about fifteen still running shows. And that's for a four hour block. They're far from dead.
-
Idk Adult Swim seems to be about as alive as it's ever been.
-
Who here remembers when Jack in the Box was pimping out [adult swim] on their products?
I consider that the high point.

I don't agree with Mingo at all, but I can't help but feel a large sector of [as]'s audience consists of fans who've been cultured over long periods of time. If fresh blood is what [as] wants, it'll be in dire need of it if its audience ages out of its demographic.
As far as anime is concerned, Bebop is still recurring and scores decent ratings, while Geass of all things aired once and has since been dropped. One would think Geass would've been Bebop's successor as a show notorious for ranching in fans, but not only did it not happen, Geass wasn't renewed.
Brotherhood doesn't seem to be making a stir either - it's quite possibly because of the bitter fan division over it, but I began watching [as] with FMA and GITS:SAC, so I remember how popular those two shows once were. Division or no, haters may hate but fans gonna fawn.
Yet, it doesn't APPEAR to be happening right now.

i dont even have cable
not suprised. pretty much everything on cable sucks now anyway.

They're interesting on the grounds that it shows how important Boondocks is to Adult Swim, but the ratings provided don't really tell us much beyond that. Are the other shows lurking just behind those numbers or are the ratings terrible for the rest of their lineup? Some of the recent ads for Children's Hospital in particular seem like Adult Swim is just begging people to watch it or the replay.
Providing the top three doesn't really say much of anything… well, beyond the fact that a lot of their original programming loses out to repeats of the same show at a later time.
Come to think of it, it'll be interesting to see how the new season of the Venture Brothers compares to the Boondocks where ratings are concerned. Robot Chicken as well.

we dont know how the other shows did. they could be just right behind it or terrible. we dont know becuase all we get is the top 3. and the ratings are important becuase it tells us how well anime is doing on adult swim so we can see is theyle pick up more or not.

Speaking of adult swim, I've actually found fanboys of Tom Goes to the Mayor.
Just read the comments here.

One of them complained about how they're "friends" found this show retarded.

So Bleach is back, it's some filler arc now. I love how they didn't advertise its return when they usually advertise Bleach plenty. I just happened to notice.

The uploader of this video is even funnier. I love how he tells people that don't find stupid shit like someone dancing by humping another person, yet at the same time making fart noises funny to go see a doctor. Yah, cleary they need to see a doctor for not finding that funny.

I wanna see the new season of Venture Brothers. Looks boss.
