Yayy Just preordered the SH Figuarts Luffy, been waiting for this for about 2 months, and its only one week away yess! i even got ems shipping, just so it gets here faster. Pre ordered with amiami, this will be my first One Piece figure that i bought online (bought the Treasure Gate styling set on holiday in Singapore). Anyone else looking forward for this?
Also i think the Boa Hancock is fine, so what if it shows some boobs, just put the freaking clothes on her, thats all you have to do lol.

I think the Megahouse will do what they want to do, but it should be disclosed to fans buying their merchandise. ( Kinda like a forewarning) That's all. This is where I question that photo. If it is true, I agree with Maggie in that it takes away from the class of the figure. In the end, you could simply leave the clothes on it, but I know I would have a problem buying it.

My opinion. She is like a female franky when completely removed of her dress n top. No harm done. I dont like the base of her at all. it should have been Kuja Pirates logo. With her cloths on she Does not look ugly. Infact when we see the promotional pictures its HArdly noticable that she has removable cloths. I don't really think TrashCat's fondness for the Croc POP is comparable to Boa's situation. That falls under the realm of suggestion. He has pants and a full-bodied shirt on, in any case.
Wiki might say ages 10-18 or something as the age range for the shounen genre, but other sites actually mention 8-18. Attitudes towards sex are different in Japan and, strangely enough, are more lax than here. Personally, I don't mind nipples in general. WOWZA lots of hancock talk. If it makes me uneasy when I get her in the mail I might have to resell her, I preordered her at amiami so I can't cancel. Also once I get her I might not even care. Somehow the whole thing just makes me uncomfortable, though, as I said (especially with the alt. face) and that's just my reaction and not something I can change. If you're super happy about it, so be it. I had an image in my mind for hancock probably because I'm working on cosplaying her, so seeing this just made my heart freeze a bit, also because of some personal experiences. I never really thought of her as a sexy body showoff (like I do nami, who uses it to her advantage), just how I personally interpreted her character. When I think of Hancock naked, it's more of a comedic thing. shrug Personal opinion, again. It is nice to know that not all guys are salivating over it though ahahaha! Funny such a silly thing makes me so uncomfortable >_<

Errr…it's not exageration if that's how the character herself acts. That's how Oda wrote her story - she was branded with a tattoo, and because she doesn't want anyone to know about it she chooses to cover it up. Her own people run out of the building when she's taking a shower. I was just mentioning that because I agree with maggie's interpretation of her - she's not like Nami, and she doesn't drop her clothes for a Happiness Punch. Which I have no problem with. I don't mind girls utilizing their charms, if it's part of their character. But some people were using the excuse that Boa would just as easily drop her clothes and so the figure is justified. I'm just saying how it's not really like her at all to do such a thing. It's not so much about honor as it's just OOC in terms of Oda's own depiction of the character.

Actually, I agree with you. Like I said, it's annoying how guys can go completely topless on hot days and girls can't. =_= But when it comes to the Hancock POP, I think the supporters of her POP themselves were connecting the presence of nipples to a purposeful attempt at making the figure sexually appealing. The overall over-sexualization of the figure was what I was having a bit of an issue with, and even though I did mention them on the figure I don't really mean to say nipples themselves are a bad thing. And Oda himself avoids drawing female nipples anyway.
Even in Inuyasha, Takahashi drew nipples on the females. But she didn't overly sexualize those scenes and they were just there, naturally, like a guy's nipples are there. That makes a bit of a difference, a think.

I feel like I'm paying for a feature that I didn't really want. I really wanted each character in their original outfit ( I know some people here are like that, too) but I find that (as with MBHs) they seemed to follow the changes in Oda's style facially.
SW nami vs Thriller bark nami. I got the retard SW nami for some reason, problems everywhere. The new one's eyes are less spacey and she's got an overall better expression, and also her hair is a bit more orange. Probably couldn't sell the SW one anyway with the factory problems.

oh man. That is a hard choice with the Zoros, LOL. - I'd say definitely keep the Nami on the right and the Sanji in his original outfit (he looks crisper in his original outfit anyways). If you really really need to sell two of the Zoros, I'd just keep the original outfit one. But if you love them all so much…personally, I'd just keep them all. One or two extras can't hurt. (;
