I agree with Buuhan's reasoning as well. As perverted and lustful as One Piece can get, it's always been playful and I don't see Oda ever going as far as to reveal nipples that way. Even full-nude illustrations were always censored cleverly with something in the panel. Shounen manga doesn't mean they'd go that far. Shounen is shounen, not seinen. -

That's what I think too. I don't see the big deal about the figure having nipples. I think some people are just exaggerating. Besides I doubt these POP PVC's are targeted for children. I seriously doubt the average kid in Japan has 60-70 bucks lying around every month for a One Piece PVC.

Not everyone collects them in mass though. There's always the option of just buying one or two of your favorite characters to put on their desk or bookshelf if they're only kids.

I really want her because I love Hancock, but I'd have to cancel my Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep PSP bundle to be able to afford her… but that isn't happening. The PSP and BBS will only drop in price where as Hancock will only raise, but I. DON'T. CARE. I love the POPs but they just sit on a shelve doing nothing, the PSP is a fricken gaming system. Price value or not, no hunk of PVC is worth the same or more as something like that.

DX Doflamingo

Finally, a full-sized figure of Doflamingo. It was a long time coming and to be honest, I don't think that much of it now that it's here. As you can see the coat on this figure doesn't look much like the coat Doflamingo wears in the manga–in fact, if you weren't familiar with his character I doubt you'd even be able to tell those were feathers. His hair is a bit too long and the paint job on his clothes is nothing special (dull colors and his shoes are missing the white sides). But I do like his hunched pose and the bent legs, which is very true-to-character. Face looks better in person than in the pics. Leg hair, ditto. Also, Arei is quite right--his upper half is surprisingly heavy (due to the coat, I assume). And his base is also quite large. Amusingly, the text on the base says "One Piece" and then "Seven Worlds of the Sea" beneath it.
It's not perfect, but for ¥1400 it's a decent buy.

Overall, I'm not pleased with the quality of this figure, but it's not too bad considering the price.

I bought this figure as a last minute add-on to go with my Super Effect Croc, and ironically, this is the figure I am the most pleased with out of the three. For starters, he is quite well-sculpted. His pants, sash, hoop, and jewelry all look very nice, and the detail given to his arms, feet, and torso is quite impressive. His pose is great; the wide stance and leaning twist of his abdomen is very hot dynamic, and I also like how his arm is outstretched and holding his staff–which is even proportionate. ^^
Like the SE Croc, his face leaves something to be desired, as well as the lightning effect around his shoulders and right arm. I should also add that the lightning bolts are a little sharp--I stuck myself a few times just removing him from his plastic wrapping, so be careful handling him.
Also, I could not get him to stand upright without the clear plastic base between his feet, with I find a bit distracting. I was surprised that he even needed a base, as I don't recall the promotional pictures showing this (although I may be mistaken). Still, I think this is easily the best-looking Enel figure to date and one of the better collectible-related purchases I've made recently.

Even though Croc's face looks terrible in his Super Effects figure, I still wanna buy him. His pose is really neat, and I think he'd look good on my desk.
I'm also excited to get my Special Effect Eneru/Enel, as I'm sure it's coming either today (technically Saturday) or Monday. I haven't seen too much merchandise for him, but I do have the MBH Eneru and the Full Color R figure.

I got my wcf Bepo, Zoro and Law today too. There are some minor paint flaws, but all in all Bepo stands out the most. He's so cute. I love that smirk on Zoro's face!

Meh, the Super DX isn't that great. It's very nice for the price but it's not as good as everyone is making it out to be while ripping on MegaHouse.
It's not like EVERYONE is buying the figure to remove her clothes tho. I don't even know anyone who is. But the fact still stands that one of Hancock's major scenes involved her naked.
But if people want to re-create that scene using Hancock POP they can.
And hell. The more perverts who buy this one means the more POPs we'll continue to get in the future. Especially considering there'll probably be a few people skipping on the ones like Luffy 2, Ace 2, SW Zoro 2, Nami 2, Chopper Suit since they got them the first time.

hmm.. i find super DX boa isnt as sharp as the POP version..
I still think that the POP version is better than the super DX, regardless of her removable clothes.
The only reason i find the super dx attractive is that she comes with the snake and they are in the normal proportion. The main thing that i dont like about the super dx is her hair..
But overall this is just my opinion.. its all subjective

Although I'm not sure about the fact that it's Banpresto. Whom are VERY hit and miss with their stuff. Just because she looks good in the proto pictures doesn't mean she'll look like that once she comes out.
