Have that preordered. The Go sucks cause it can't play UMD. You have to buy everything digital. To combat this GameStop is apparently gonna start selling digital games and DLC at a discount through their website and in-store kiosks. Don't ask me how they're gonna do that as it's impossible for digital products to be used.
And I wouldn't expect any less from Nintendo, though I'm not familiar with the DRM on Wiiware/DSiWare.
Isn't iTunes DRM-free now?
Nintendo is the worst when it comes to that crap. Luckily, it is the easiesty system to hack and Nintendo can't ban you from online play because they can't tell your system is hacked (for the record, Nintendo restricts downloads to one system where they can't be transfered to any other system for any reason which makes buying a black wii pointles….unless you hack it. Microsoft is limited to one system at a time where you have to call them but stuff is linked to your account and Sony has it linked to your account which can be activated on 5 systems)
iTunes is NOT DRM-free but you can get DRM-free versions of songs....for more money :getlost:
[EDIT: A topic will probably be made soon but a Sly Cooper collection is coming out on PS3]
currently downloading final fantasy IX onto my PSP

I'd be doing that if I hadn't JUST replayed the game like, 6 months ago. I love it, but I'm good for a while.
Yeah, I've been putting off VIII and VII (yes, despite my hate for it I won't lie that I wanna give it a run) but I think IX may be the FF I need to pick up whenever $10 is convenient.
Technically I could do it right now as I have $14 in my bank account, but there's too many games to play right now so it'd just be $10 sitting on my PS3 that I can't get a meal with.
just be paitent though.
it was about an entire hour to download the file. Then another half hour to install it.
looks and runs good so far. Especially comforting knowing that you can alter the control scheme. One good thing is that the R2 and L2 buttons are mapped to the directions on the analog (R2+L2 is even one of the directions). Don't like it? you can change it as well

I don't know if it was Rogers or Nintendo that found out (probably the former), but my internet company (Rogers) called my home regarding a pirated version of Call of Duty that my brother was playing online on Wii.

Probably the internet company found out because the download for it was flagged as being pirated. He would have had to use proxies and ip-filtering software so that wouldn't happen.
Instead of the KH pack . im getting the MGS:peace walker pack
for the movie voucher , is it for any film on the PS network?
it's 2012 the movie
Wonder what the one on the KH bundle will be. Advent Children or Spirits Within, or something completely non-S-E related?
New PS3 coming out ..a 300+ GB Model

No one really needs that much space on their PS3. Also, I never knew the PS3 had memory problems.

…You're kidding right?

No, I'm not. That amount of space is "justifiable" for a computer, but not a game console.

With increasing amounts of downloadable games, it makes sense to need a large amount of space. Some dl games are over 1GB so if you get a lot over time it fills up.
Not to mention music and video storage on PS3.
It does have a reason.
Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.
Some games are ending up with Huge Saves files too. I coulda sworn my recent Fallout 3 save ended up over 1 GB
I'm using my ps3 as a media centre. So it's completely filled with movies and tv series.
Way more confinient than burning DVD's.
The PS3 is a game console before it is a media center. I was not saying 300GB was too much for a media center, but is a game console. If you're stuffing your system with 10GB TV series after 10GB TV series that's your own business, and you might want to consider another device.
"PS3- It only does EVERYTHING" :P
Like I said, though, even though it would take a fair amount of money (and, likely, time), with downloadable games, large save files on disc-based games, and install data, you can easily fill up the units with smaller hard drives.
Still, the main reason PS3 is making a 300 GB version is just to try to outshine the new 250 GB Xbox360, obviously.

more like linux.

Well if you want a Wii HD without Mario, Zelda, Metroid, or any of that, Bam, there it is, your P S Move..
Which is pretty much pointless if you already own a Wii, IMO.

I was jokingly doing the PS3 commercial slogan. lol
It's a good slogan.
It just isn't true.
I thought the 300+ GB PS3 was fucking ridiculous, but the PlayStation Store does have a TV/Movie section… so... yeah.
If I ever gotten that shit, I'll cram it shitloads of music.
I personally refuse to pay the prices PSN charges for TV/Movies, especially when you can get Netflix, heck, there's gonna be a Netflix app on the PS3 this fall from what I hear. I will admit to having quite a bit of music on my PS3 (including the entire One Piece soundtrack) and that's what's taking most of my HDD space.
I use my games consoles for games! Therefore I have loads of space! Yaaaay!
Picked up both Toy Story 3 (for £25) and Dark Void for £7 today.
Hopefully these'll keep me sane till DQ9
So, it seems the last batch of PS2 games keeps changing. A port of the psp Toy Story 3 game was just announced for it. I hoped the final PS2 game would be something terrific, but I guess that's asking too much.
Also, very strange news, but the above mentioned Toy Story 3 game will be coming also as a PS2 system bundle at $130. So the PS2 doesn't seem to be budging from its $100 price tag, even as it nears its end. I'm wondering if the PS2 will reach into 2011 afterall.
We finally got Crash Team Racing. If only they had updated it with online play it'd be fantastic. Also, apparently Capcom is really trying to get the Megaman Legends series on PSN, but they gotta renew the voice actors contracts… or so I've heard.
im hoping to get a PS3 soon by the end of the year
So are there any games worth playing on the PSP? I do want to get Birth by Sleep, but even so I have to wonder if it's really worth the investment.

There are. I'm getting one for just a couple tho.
Megaman : Maverick Hunter X
Half Minute Hero
Kenka Bancho
Prinny : Dood can I really be the hero
Disgaea 1/2 ports
Mega Man Powered Up
Final Fantasy Tactics
Breath of Fire 3
Tales of Eternia
Star Ocean: First Departure
Star Ocean: Second Evolution
Jeanne d'arc
R-Type Tactics
Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles
Persona
Persona 3
Twinbee Portable - A 5 game twinbee collection(japanese)
What Darkstorm said. Also
Sega Genesis Collection
Lumines
Final Fantasy Dissidia
Final Fantasy Crisis Core
Power Stone Collection
Sonic Rivals
God of War Chains of Olympus
Apparently Metal Gear is amazing.
Plus, even though its a whatever in the day and age of the Ipod, it can store music, videos, photos and stuff too, which I rather like. I love the functionality and feel and design of the psp way better than the DS…. but the DS does have the classic nintendo franchises behind it.
And a very large chunk of the PS1 library is becoming available for download bit by bit.
Thanks for info guys. In that case I'll definitely have to buy a PSP at some point in the future.
Oh, and robby, are you saying there's a modern Sonic game that's actually worth buying?!
Whoa! He sure did!
Anywho, I'm honestly going to buy a PSP for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
It's all Birth By Sleep, Ghost of Sparta, and Peace Walker I care for at the moment.
Hopefully Last Ranker will get a localisation.

Oh, and robby, are you saying there's a modern Sonic game that's actually worth buying?!
For ten bucks, its about the best Sonic game we've gotten in the last decade. Though it emphasizes speed, course memorization and Mario Kart luck of the draw item grabbing a bit too heavily. I haven't played it since I beat it, but I had enough fun with it while I was doing it. And then part 2 broke the things they got right…
But you want a list of psp games worth playing/getting, its worth a shot. For ten bucks.
Anyone recommend PSP games that aint ports of existing games? Like PSP exclusive.

Most of the titles in the lists above are original content.
And some that are ports are better as portables than they were as console games.
Valkyrie Profile Lenneth is great, dispite the port being a bit poor compared to the PSone version. The PSone version is rare and expensive however.
@robbybedfart:
Power Stone Collection
This port any good? Played the DC games but was wondering if it was worth buying.
Whenever I want to know if there are any good games for any system I head here:

Good game lists for every system ever. It also updates a good deal of the time.

Its exactly like the originals. More characters even.
But as it turns out, Powerstone is REALLY a multi-player party game. It loses a lot if you don't have a friend with you. It has hook up sharing capabilities, but the one player mode is pretty bleh. But that was the case in the original as well.

Their arguments to get people to buy certain games in the description are all like "If you like other games get this".
