There were two ties last year; Beckman-Paulie in the First Round and Crocodile-Garp in the Second. Both contestants advanced and faced off against another entrant in a three way dance.
I think that is what we're still doing, but I'll have to make sure.

It would be better to vote now rather then try to break a tie at the end. If you vote now and someone else was saving their vote till the end you will force them to vote.
Not as risky is it.

moria has no permanent place in the story. He'll be the guy who stands next to buggy.
we won't see him again for about 2 years. no different then beckham.

Moria has a back story already set up to go. Beckham is just…I dunno, some guy with a gun...yay? Does he have a devil fruit? Whats his usefulness that separates him from other gun toting characters? What has he done to earn his place at Shanks side?

Lets see…created the largest pirate ship in the world and kept it hidden from the WG,created an army of the dead,built not only a castle on his ship but an entire forest,mansion,and held in his pocket the biggest giant who ever lived(until san juan wolf) with Luffy's shadow.
He had everyone by the BALLS!
And at Marineford, he was able to not only use the battlefield to his advantage with the fallen soldiers, but took down Oars Jr in one hit. Not to mention that he was far from beaten after his little skirmish with Jinbei and held off one of Whitebeard's commanders. -

He didn't keep it hidden from the WG. They ALLOWED him to have it because he was a warlord. That's one of the perks. The WG looks the other way unless you're harming innocent people. Moria mostly harmed other pirates, so he was doing the WG a favor. Therefore, Moria's just a government dog.

I'm saying you are over stating moria. They are equally worthless to the main plot. The voting poll shows so far. Its been pretty even for a long time.
I'd just rather have a character that has more secrets to show than a character that is tried and tired and has nothing left in him to show. He doesn't make me laugh nor do i find him appealing at all.
Ben beckham has plenty of things left to build up and reveal. Moria ihas nothing left in him.
PS.
The question is who would be best for the Movie –- Benn Beckham has a feel of that jaws captain that survives and kills the fishes. Moria is someone who'd die at the start of the movie :D

OH the guy is not saying much but he is so cool. He is exactly like Zoro, Mihawk, Smoker and all other stoic shonen manga characters
