Duh. It happened on the Going Merry when Sanji held a gun and Usopp held his slingshot to Miss AllSunday/Nico Robin's head. I also saw the episode where they edited it into a sword. I've read the entire series, so don't even go there.
This isn't a battle, Sanji and Usopp were trying to stop Nico Robin from attacking. Sanji won't attack a woman. He wasn't planning on using the gun, he was trying to stop Robin from doing any damage. What, do you expect him to hold his foot to Robin's head? That wouldn't make any sense, both because it wouldn't be much of a threat and he would fall over.
Now if he had pulled the trigger I would agree with you.
I think the dub should have edited the sword to one of Sanji's kitchen knives.
Your logic is flawed, anyway. Zoro has three swords, all of which were on his waist at the moment Nico Robin attacked, so saying a sword makes more sense because Zoro has swords is bullshit.
What I was trying to say, which flew right over your head, is that in Water7 Nami has a pile of guns at her feet. Where did they get those guns? They had to buy them somewhere, but we're never shown when they buy them. It's entirely plausible that Nami bought some guns at Logue Town…besides Water7, it is the biggest shopping area they've been to at all.
