@Keo2309:
And might I add… Gaimon sucks and was such a pointless character. What purpose did that chapter serve?
Sorry for going off-topic, but this signature has to be argued:
Had Gaimon not part of the story, Buggy would've left the monster island earlier(Cover story OP Ch. 46-48), hence he would not have ran into Arvida. Without Arvida, the Louge Town incident would not have occured, and Luffy's crew would've stayed there longer.
At the time of their arrival to the Grand Line, Laboon would hence have been dead, killed by Mr.9 and Vivi. It is uncertain if Luffy and his crew would've even met Crocus in this case. However, the crew would not have reached Whiskey Peak at the right time and Vivi would've gotten killed by Ms. Valentine and Mr.5. The crew would have continued to Little Garden and resided there for a year, due to Mr.3 not being there and Sanji never receiving an Eternal Pose to Alabasta.
Well, given Luffy's personality, let's say they keep going anyway. The route is however different. Nami would be dying from Kestia at this point, but without Vivi, there is no entering Drum Island, so Chopper wouldn't join and Nami would die. At the remaining crew's time of arrival to Alabasta, the land would have been in ruins. Robin would not join, nor would Luffy meet up with Ace and receive the all-important Vivre Card. Crocodile is never defeated, and does not get sent to Impel Down.
Skypiea would be in ruins, thanks to Enel. Enies Lobby would not occur due to Robin's absence in the crew. Franky would as such not join either. Usopp would have left the crew for good. Iceburg's fate is uncertain. Now, the rest of the crew (Luffy, Zoro, Nami and Sanji) proceeds to the Florian Triangle. Thriller Bark would most likely occur, however Brook's joining status is uncertain.
Shabondy and Amazon Lilly carry out normally… but in Impel Down, something goes terribly wrong. No Mr.3, no Mr.2 and no Crocodile!! Luffy gets caught by Magellan with no one to rely on but Buggy. His fate is sealed. One Piece ends here.
THAT'S what Gaimon means to the story.
