They are not different, more like volume editors screwed up print zooming once again >_>

-
Aren't those just Akainu and Kizaru? With no Aokiji?
-
Aokiji is covered with advert flyer thing that's wrapped around the book.
-
-
@Don:
where is there luffy`s chin ???:wassat:
See, this is what you get for not owning a single tankobon. Shame.
-
Oh, ok, didn't know that. :>

I'm curious, what's those books in the upper left cornerd. Those with the red spine and the one next to them with the blue One Piece logo?
-
Aren't those the color walks?
-
No, there are 6 books, the 1st one is Arabasta movie novel, the next 3 are other One Piece movie novel, and the other 2 are one Anime Comic movie (I don´t know if is Anime Comic movie 5 or 6…).
I know becouse I haver all novel and Anime Comics XD.
-
Thanks for the info. Figured it would be something like that because the Loguetown novel looks similar. Speaking of which, does any of those novels have original artwork by Oda like the Loguetown one has?
-
Sorry for being a bit offtopic but the movie novels are the ones with scenes from the movie ? Like a kiddie book with text on one side and an ilustration on the next ?
And the novels for the anime have ilustration by someone else I think .
-
Awesome info this volume! J cup laaaaawwwwwwwlll
-
Hey! Here are two pics:

-
Well the dreadlock guy gets a name too . But too bad Horse face doesn't .
-
does that mean we have names now for all commanders?
Yeah it does…

1.Marco (マルコ)
2.Ace (エース)
3.Joz (ジョズ)
4.Thatch (サッチ)
5.Vista (ビスタ)
6.Burmenko (ブラメンコ)
7.Rakuyou (ラクヨウ, and a city in China Mainland "洛阳" is called this in Japanese, but I'm not sure if this "Rakuyou" means that.)
8.Namur (ナミュール)
9.Blenheim (ブレンハイム)
10.Curiel (クリエル)
11.キングデュー(Kingdue?)
12.Haruta (ハルタ)

14.[delete]Speed·Jill[/delete]Speed Gilles or Speed Jiru (スピード・ジル. Jill is a girl's name and I wasn't aware of that…)
15.Fossa (フォッサ)
16.Izou(イゾウ/以藏, seems to be a Japanese name) -
Their names AND their respective Divisions apparently. Nice! And Thanks!^^
-
That useless pocketman lead the 6th division ? Facepalm
-
He is not useless and his name is Burmenko.
-
How is he useless ?
Plus his powers are realy awesome .
-
WB Commanders, left to right, top to bottom:
WB
Marco
Ace
Jozu
Sacchi
Vista
Bramenko (chin pocket)
Rakuyou (dreadlock chain chomp)
Namyuul (fishman)
Blenheim (Tilestone wannabe)
Kriel (hipster glasses)
Kingdyu (he-man guy, but I've never seen that combination of kana. any thoughts?)
Haruta (girlie looking thing)
Atomos
Speed Jill (nondescript guy)
Fossa (old man cigar)
Izou (trannie)EDIT: whoops. beaten to it.
-
So… Haruta is a female name?
-
Is Izou a male name or not ?
-
So… Haruta is a female name?
It… sounds like it. Also, that's how you would katakanize "halter"-[top].
-
He is not useless
What have he done in the war ? Rakuyo or Blenheim were more suitable imho
-
thanks again for all those involved
-
@UNCLE:
What have he done in the war ? Rakuyo or Blenheim were more suitable imho
He opened a path in the bay and kicked some VAs with his huge hammer.
-
It is probably rather stupid question but what the hell, is namyuul a name for a specific fish in japanese?
-
Please not the whole "X character did nothing in the war , he is useless" crap again .
Anyway thanks for the trans the lot of you .
-
Unit Conversion for us Americans that don't use the metric system. Damn non-metric system.
Boa Hancock (29): 6'3"
"Hawkeye" Mihawk (41): 6'5"
Sir Crocodile (44): 8'3"
Jinbei (44): 9'10"
Donquixote Doflamingo (39): 10'0"
"Blackbeard" Marshall D. Teach (38): 11'3"
Bartholomew Kuma (45): 22'7"
Gecko Moria (48): 22'8"So yeah. And still can't believe Teach is only 38. Time has not been kind to him AT ALL.
-
He opened a path in the bay
Just like all the others WB nakama
and kicked some VAs with his huge hammer
The VA were fighting Oars at the coast, the only VA in the bay were the giants.
-
It is probably rather stupid question but what the hell, is namyuul a name for a specific fish in japanese?
This might be stretching it, but it could be nami + mule = mule of the waves
<_<

-
So wait, the fat guy with the Lance has a girl's name?
-
@No:
Please not the whole "X character did nothing in the war , he is useless" crap again.
I only think that other WB commander (Blenheim and rakiyo above all) have done more interesting things than him in the battle, so it surprise me seeing him as the 6th division leader.
-
I'm sure Doberman did much more interesting things then just stand around .
Meh .
-
@S.C.:
So wait, the fat guy with the Lance has a girl's name?
Maybe his name is Gilles, not Jill…
Sorry for misleading you...
-
Explicitly, the kana are "ji" plus "ru."
That's definitely how you'd go about spelling "Jill," but it could just be "Jiru." -
@Thousand:
Wow…so Hancock is like the child prodigy of the group?
Now, she's the chick.
-
@CCC:
Explicitly, the kana are "ji" plus "ru."
That's definitely how you'd go about spelling "Jill," but it could just be "Jiru."Jill and Gilles are both called ジル (Jiru) in Japanese… And I personally think it would be better to translate these katakanas into English...
-
Newgate commanders sure have weird names O_o
-
Jill and Gilles are both called ジル (Jiru) in Japanese… And I personally think it would be better to translate these katakanas into English...
I wasn't arguing with you (not saying Jill is the only romanization option, just that it is a possible one).
