Yeah, this is the lowest of the low as far as supporting arguments go. I love Hancock and would love to see her interact with the crew and stick around, but I just don't see it happening right now. Things can change to resolve that, but things will need to change. Most of the arguments against her still hold strong, and most of the arguments for her are weak, if anything at all. I mean, looking at those examples from the other page… I mean, strung together yeah it looks nice, and I won't deny some of it if she does join, but it is certainly not an argument or supporting evidence for her.
1. Kuja is a name in Japanese. Kuja is also the name of Hancock's nation. Kuja means nine snakes. THE NEXT CREWMEMBER WILL BE THE NINTH!!
2. She had her own chapter title...!! Just like Crocodile, Moria, Kuma, and Jinbei did. Among a large list of others.
3. She wore the same outfit that Nami wore in Loguetown! Just like Robin when she was introduced! Except... Hancock's isn't a full dress like Nami's was, dresses with slits are extremely common, and Robin's, while not exactly the same, appeared only 16 chapters after Nami's did, and was potentially coincidence even then. Might as well say Miss Universe is going to join!
4. She has a birthday! But then, she only has a birthday because random fan decided to ask what it was. 99% of the time their birthday corresponds with something about them, such as their name or affiliation. Case in point, 'Nine Snakes, Ninth Month'. Since Camie and Ace received birthdays too, they will surely join als– wait...
I said I was only listing things that are coincidences like the franky drawing.
i coudl go on and have an argument about why she will join and base it one her actions, her character, luffy and so on, but i didn't feel like it right now. and when doing tings like that it becomes very opinionated.
Take for example this. Hancock was willing to not go to war and lose her title, which thus puts her Island in danger because her treaty is revocked.
You can take this many ways. A pro Hancock can say that she was willing to before, so she will just leave with luffy now and not care about her island.
A anti-Hancock can argue that if she did that it would be a very unStrawhat like manner and thus she can't join if willing to do that.
Pro Hancock can argue that in Calm Belt with seakings and a nation of haki using warriors could defend for themselves, while anti argues over how the WG will send their entire force and whip them out like they are nothing.
Pro-Hancock can argue they woudl be more concerned about recent events such as movement in new world, all of wb's territory, getting luffy, getting hancock, that they would postpone going after Amazon Lily for a bit, becuase not huge threat and so close can take it out whenever, and by that time Luffy would become like WB and AL off limits or even destroyed WG, or Revolutionaries make move, ect.
Anti-Hancock would argue that WG would put everything aside and get revenge ASAP and what not because amazon lily so close, not super strong and pirate nation, ect.
and i could go on for listing both sides to any event, outcome and whatever. The fact is we dont' know what will happen in any event. If say Hancock joins we dont' know how, when or even if the WG woudl retaliate on Amazon Lily. Its all opinionated. Hell currently it looks like we could even have a defend amazon lily arc and thus solve that whole problem. But we have no idea, thus it just ends up into a heated battle over our own opinions on how the story would unfold.
THus this is why I like to stick to hints and subtle things in the manga that can be tied to a person joining. Ignore those things if you want, but personally if i see someone ignoring things i see it as weakness in that they have no way to refute it so they will ignore it for their benifit of the argument.
