I watched a doc on sepp blatter. That guy is like a mfucking dictator.
Did you know he and he alone decides which country will host the WorldCup.That's crazy. I'll try to find an english version of the doc and post it here.

Yeah, but if you think about it, the FIFA always made "strange" decisions about the hosts. 1934 Italy (Mussolini, anyone?) or Argentina 1986. It's all about money, fame and power. Football is only secondary.

Mexico hosted 86.

I think he meant 1978, when Argentina was under a dictatorship.
The period right after the World Cup is kinda depressing…takes some time to get used to your everyday football.

Oh well, yeah but it's nice anyway ^^
So I've read this year in december the hosts for 2018 and 2022 are announced … damn I'm really old when those WCs are beginning ^^;;

I hope the US gets one, and maybe Belgium/Netherlands for the other? I'd be OK with Australia or England too. Basically just somewhere I can easily travel to!
-
I wouldn't be surprised if Australia gets it at all. Sounds like a typical political move that Blatter would pull.
-
Russia and Australia seem the like best choices.

It's quite the contrary for English football.
Ordinary Premier league football is on par or even better than World Cup, what with most of the best players in the world being in one place…
-
That's exactly what i meant, clubs football. It lacks that "magical aura" and stuff that makes a World Cup special.
Not to mention that i live in the freakin country of football, it's not like i need to envy Premier League at all, heh.

I'm looking forward to the Premiere League as always, I'm a huge Chelsea fan. My other favorite team from Europe is Valencia, too bad David Villa, David Silva and Mata all left the team this summer. I'm also interested on what Mourinho can do in Real Madrid.

Chelsea's number 10 used to be Joe Cole, but he left (well rather they did not renew his contract) this summer. Right now as far as I know no one has been assigned the number 10 shirt yet. I'd like to see Mesut Ozil wear it, they just have to sign him. -
I agree about ozil. Though stupid liverpool board didn't want to give me enough money to buy him when werder offered him to me this season in Football manager 2010. :( :(
Just don't mind me, i'm stil drunk much. :D :D

I read somewhere Juventus, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea and a couple others had shown interest, they are rumors probably.

I'm back and I found this
