'specially if you're a college student!
You know how it is. The end of summer. You've gotta tan. You look fabulous. You're the perfect weight and your muscles shine a trim golden brown.
Then comes dorm life.
At first it's fine. At first you make a solemn vow NOT to repeat last year. You will NOT stuff yourself at the cafeteria and you will only eat hearty salads.
But then comes the first all-nighter with friends.
Then the first test.
But that's okay!! You're still doing fine!
Then the next test and another. Suddenly you're having trouble staying awake so you eat just a little bit more. Just for that extra kick of energy.
But then your friends, who are all active in EVERY SPORT EVER want to have a pizza party and they invite you. Then you do it again.
Then more tests! MORE FOOD! MORE ENERGY!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!
And so you end up putting on 45 pounds weighing more than you did even last year.
Well, if you're anything like me you did. Every year it's the same thing. Work out in the summer, look great and lose it all when school starts. I did indeed gain a whopping 45 pounds putting me at my first ever 225!!!! I've never even been above 200! I've never known the pain of putting on pants or even underwear until this past Spring.
But, at long last, here we are in summer and as schedule I am working out and in 4 weeks have shed over 20 pounds. Another 4 pounds and I'll be under 200 then I can actually bear the thought of wearing a swimsuit.
Anyone else getting in shape for the summer months or am I alone in my Fall and Winter Fat-Ass Frenzy?
