you'll never see all the aspects of a manga in an anime, it's the same way with one piece for instance, but i do admit there were quite a few things missing, which i didn't miss at all because i haven't read that first part of the manga in a long time -thus the anime seemed quite perfect to me. if all those scenes were included than FMA would be a total comedic act really :)

Well that's to be expected Thousand Lion-chan… Probably the vast majority of people watching this are people who have seen the original anime and/or manga and have already seen all of this once or twice.
I personally want to get to the newer stuff ASAP. I'm sure they'll slow down once they get there.
i don't feel like rushing to the new stuff, but i hope the overlapping(hope this is also an english word…) is the whole point of leaving out a lot of scenes, too. if that is the case than the next ep. would be the last to be shortened a lot right? or where did the first manga float into another dimension of scrap?
