@Demon:
Notice Stephen doesn't resort to an actual existent National accent and he's only having "You" and "I" have the quirk, That's because "You" and "I" are the only words he does that With.
It isn't Franky-House, it's cnet. And Stephen is a working professional, whereas Carlos Net is just a fan that does translations. I'm not surprised that Stephen's translations are more accurate and above average in the creative field. You cannot call Carlos Net out though for doing his best to adapt what was said in Japanese to what we would hear in English that makes sense to us. Given the pop-culture reference, the accent he uses makes sense, regardless of how accurate or perfect it is. If you don't like it, that is your deal, and the fact remains that there isn't a perfect translation or adaptation for it, and what he did matches the pop-culture reference (I believe), so he has reasons for doing what he did. No big deal.
@Captain:
Because I asked "wazzap with the goofy accent in the title".
@Captain:
Why are we putting the corny-ass accent scanlators have been giving Ivankof into the title?!
Yup, those were the words you used. There was no complaining whatsoever.
@Captain:
You threw in some pissy little bits into your reply. Then you went to this topic and added further pissiness.
Except there was nothing pissy about it. You were complaining, and I asked that you take your complaining elsewhere, like the thread for the actual translation you were whining about, as an example. If you are confused about what "complain" means, check your local dictionary for the definition, and then re-read your own words.
@Captain:
And I dunno why someone doesn't just stick Steve's translations into scans…
Probably because his site says "DO NOT USE FOR SCANLATIONS" in 48px font where nobody can miss it.
